Ainsley, my baby recently also like tat. I ask my CL why she now daytime so hard to sleep. My Cl say as they grow older, they understand day and nite, and soon day time they will wanna play, want attention liao.

alicia, wow.. then you continue to monitor whether CL got turn for the worse or not. cuz mine is quite ok initially, she changes after two weeks. all pattern come out. cannot relax with them.

canopy, im glad your CL left liao. quite bad leh.. your CL got two hp, my CL lie to us say she no hp and her family members keep calling my house. faintz..

miumiu, try pumping after latch to up your ss?
 
Miu: could it be u could have choked bb due to forceful letdown, that's y bb vomit?

Canopy: I also hate my LC! She just caused a quarrel between my mom n me! Argh! I hv 11 more days with her man! But can't sack her yet as I'm still not apt enough to take care of bb. Mum complained she dunno how to cook for me, that I'm still so pale. How much u give ur cl for bye bye ang pow? I feel like giving her $10. Basket!
 
calamari, initially we dun wanna give CL the bye bye ang bao. but cuz that day we nv tell her we gonna chase her away(we secretly call agent and ask agent to come and ask her to leave), and she help us mop floor, so we 'yi si yi si' give her $20. initially i also think im still not apt enough to take care of bb. plus i also dunno how to bathe bb yet. so once CL left, me and mum(she also forgot how to bathe bb) trial and error. so nervous and fun. slowly, everything ok liao. your mum or mil can help? did your CL cook tonic for you? by now shouldnt look pale le.
 
miumiu, but ur confinement over already right? i still got 1 more wk to go... cant wait man!!

btw, for those mommies who are not latching the bb, when u all go out, do u bring ur pump along? where do u store ur EBM? if your bb wanna drink milk, how u heat up the EBM?
 
after reading all the rants.. seems like hiring confinement lady oso not very gd horz... like alot of prob...

so far any mommies had a smooth sailing n happy confinement?

I read that some of you had started to weigh your babies. May I know what weighing machine/scale (brand/model) you have to weigh baby?

I recently bought one electronic scale but it doesn't seem to be able to detect baby's weight...

Need to get any special scale for weighing baby? What's the price range?
 
Cluster feeding my boy now…since 5pm till now arghhh…

I got my CL from agent too luckily she's really good! By right tommorow is her last day but me n hubby decided to extend her for 1 more mth so tat we will feel more zhai.… but tomorrow I let her off half day so on afternoon new year eve me n hubby will b all alone with bb! I wonder how we are going to handle…

I have a good confinement too. My cl is pro bf and will even stay and wait with me to help me burp the Bb or help me wash or sterilize the pump parts when I latch on my Bb in the middle of the night. She varies her cooking too so I dun get bored.
 
ainsley - cuz mi bottle feed and he seems not enuf.. and that is the amt mi can pump each time onli..

Jeanie: I should hv recovered but I got an infection so csect wound is taking longer to heal. My mom takes care of no.1, mil too old, maid does chores. If my mom takes care of no. 1 n bb, then no one will know how to cook for me le. Hubby is v busy with work, but he'll take leave for whole of feb

miu, you total bottle feed? Your baby still cry after feeding ah? maybe you latch him on la.. Cos he can take in the amount he wants.

anyway, i tried the fitties and my CL said no good, his poo leak onto the floor. Haven't tried mommypoko yet..
 
ainsley - no liao.. mi gib 80ml and he is satisfied.. latching beli difficult.. he vomit a lot a lot of milk..

hemmie: oh hehe...guess different babies suit different diapers.

miu: he wanted to take 1 month leave and 2 months LOA to accompany us, but I think too long lah hahaha...toying of going to a short holiday in Feb with hubby and no . 1

jeanie: i have 13 days left to go before my confinement ends. My mom and I will take care of no.1 and no.2 together. Maid will help us prepare milk, take bath water, clear diapers etc. Just that my mom and maid dunno how to cook confinement food, so we still need that stupid CL around to tide over this period first. Or else I no food to eat! Hahahaah

pauline so nice ur cl knows how to vary her cooking... mine like every day also same style same food. though sianz but no choice.

my previous cl cooking though much better but i never got to bu coz she say my boy heaty base so i cannot bu. by the end of previous confinement, my face still quite pale. but she took really good care of my son.
 
back from pd visit... her overall weight gain of 1.1kg.. very normal so she is now 3.9kg.. pd says her weight, head circumference n body length above average, everyting ok, hear le, relief for us...


genesis, last time i tried ntuc house brand for no1... wear only 1 - 2pieces, he develop rashes... i gave entire bag to my friend and my friend also complains it leaks a lot.. so tink better dun buy.. cheap and good one is petpet


my CL also not bad.. very chin chai and motherly.. we miss her

calamari: I've a SGD50 Angbap to my CL on her last day, initally wanna give 100 but dropped the idea as we didn't think she is worth SGD1900 for 28days in the 1st place and moreover we've given her SGD38 for the 1st day and SGD50 for her birthday + cake.
 
Ai ya really ah…Roxy will have diaper rash…I bought the ntuc diapers liao…ok will monitor n c how if not too bad then will need to pass to friends le…
 
genesis, it wasnt just buttocks diaper rash.. .. the area where his skin touched the diaper elastic portion in front all developed rashes and my poor boy keep scratching n scratching... n i got a very bad scolding from my hubby for buying it...
 
Need some advice... tried BF my baby but he don't open his mouth big so always don't get enough milk, then very cranky. So have been giving ebm feed using bottles. anyone face this problem?

Re CL.
i like my CL so far. Enjoy her cooking. One morning she even made "mi hoon kuay" for breakfast. Takes good care of baby and keep asking me to go sleep. But she also has funny suggestion like to bath baby with Guinness stout to cool down baby's heatiness.

Regarding diapers, will try petpet n eq.. Currently using drypers.. Dun really like the sticker, but most imptly bb no rashes n cheaper than the rest of the better known brands..
