Originbaby : Hmm..i think diff gynae have diff type of measurement bah. My gynae think 1.9kg is too small for a 33weeks bb. Weird hor?? But u any idea how gynae measured? My gynae measured by the adoeomen.

hm... when he measure.. he will measure the circumference of something.. to determine the growth of the bb in accordance to the weeks bo... then he will check the weight.. so I think in your case.. cos the development is slower than weeks.. that y he commented is small..
 
Sandy : Yaya. He said the bb is at 33weeks le, but the machine only show 31weeks. Heehee. Hmm but now bb wgt okie liao le lah im just curious is it different gynae use different method to measure.

btw, me dunno which disposable diapers gd for bb.. cos i heard before some say drypers no gd (bigger size causing leakages), some say pampers no gd (bb not suited end up with nappy rash), etc... in the end, i got a pack of NB huggies and a pack of S mommy poko... got samples for drypers.. think if my bb can accept pet pet, will be getting tt since it's much cheaper...
 
Feel envious to hear of mummies satisfying their cravings. My baby was already 3kg last Fri so I don't dare to eat too much cos scared she'll be too big when she comes out. :p
 
Hi mummies, wondering do u put powder on yr little ones whenever u change their diapers? If yes, do we put powder on tummy n back or backside only? How abt the california calendua cream ar?

I have popped yday....bb at almost 3kg...had epi and assisted dlivery eventually...hard to push man!!!!!BB can such well so far...
 
Last fri went checkup and doc said 1-1.5cm dilated and can feel bb head when she did the VE...she estimated thisweek to deliver...so true enuff, early this week....
 
manunited.. Congrats.. My gynae did VE for me 10 days ago and said she could feel baby's head also. She also estimated me to deliver this week but i still no sign yet leh.. Making nervous everyday..
 
i dont know if the massage i did on sunday helped to expedite the deliverycos after the massage,i saw marcous plug with abit of blood...then mensucramp for the whole day but no pain..untilat morning 1a.m plus..felt discharge dropping down and pain getting more intense...admitted to hospi, already 4cmdilated..
 
10 days ago ah, my gynae estimated will deliver in around 10 days. but now still so sign.. think she meant "10 working days" hahahaha...

ladies, am very sick, down with bad cough that cause my heartburn to worsen and throwing up gastric juice.

Do take good care as i heard some virus around, alot of pple coughing or sore throat. NOt a very good time to be sick now cos we are going to deliver our precious soon.

Ivy, I am also not feeling well... Having slight flu and abit sore throat too.. I think because of the weather. HMmm.. you must take care too cos anytime deliver liao and also breastfeeding..
 
hi ivy n ainsley, i just visited doc for my sore throat too. Fyi, if sore throat not well before c-sect, must postpone op wor. Do let yr gynae know

einnoc: try just applying moisturising cream. Powder if inhaled, can cause inflammation (or swelling) of the airways of babies. Otherwise, Pigeon has this cream powder. I have never tried b4 though.
 
Ainsley, talking about steamboat...i also have craving for steamboat liao. I like those mala type...so shiok esp in this kinda cold weather!

Ivy, Roxy...so more squats huh? I read that stimulation can also help bb move down faster...e.g breast massages...hahaha..hubbies will be happy to help

einnoc: hmmm, I recommend California Baby Everyday Moisturising Lotion. There are other cheaper brands you can try: J&amp;J, Kodomo, Gaia, Sebamed, Mustela etc. See which brand suit your baby
