Jo, i've been drinking barley quite often.. and sometimes drank water chestnut.. think u drink once to curb ur craving not too much right? :p
 


jo : don't think it is advisable to drink water chesternut as it is quite "liang".

Yuki : take care ok, see a doc if possible, don't play play, and should wearing flats liao. Ditched my 4" heels and been wearing them since i know i am pregnant (abt 5wks). I miss my heels. =(

ya, agree with canopy. think u've better switched to complete flats asap.
with a baby in our tummy, our CG has increased, so the sense of balance is no longer the same as b4.

He's not tall, actually abt 25 percentile only so abit short, just that he's v skinny so look tall... he's a darling at time, but most of the times, he's a downright lil terror.. its really a love hate relationship...


aiyoh, u all gals talking abt mj, makes hand itchy too... only east pple playing, where are the west kakis?

Yuki, these are maternity clothes that i wore when i had #1.. i will see where got sale, cheap cheap then i buy.. :p
 
morning ladies...

I didn’t know we cant drink water chestnut leh…have been drinking the one fr nutritea quite often…

Yuki…better dun wear heels anymore ya…I stopped wearing heels ever since I noe I am preggie…now my heels all white elephant sianz…

Anyway I slept on my left side last night and I experienced pain on my left tummy only in the middle of the night…something like those menstrual cramps…is this normal? I was thinking izit the baby has rolled to the left side of my tummy and press against my uterus or what…any mothers experienced the same thing as me???
 
tink i the rare few that are still wearing heels.. mine is platform.. actually wore flats once n boss hinted that it look like slippers... after that change from heels to platform...

hard to find nice working flats esp i dun like wearing covered shoes..
 
Josephine, i fell on my side but my left tummy was a bit hit by my upper tight....

Janiz, i kept all my heels already ...yst tat one i tot 1" so ok but end up duno y lose balance.

i often experience pain when i slept on my left side too ...but a little not like menstrual cramps.


Ice, i am looking for maternity clothes but cant seem to find those that i like

I also drink chestnut drink once in a while, just dun overdo it. Same for barley.

I tend to sleep on my left too, usually ok, but at times I find bb keep moving so I wonder is it bb not comfy so I switch side. I guess just listen to our body and adjust accordingly. Usually we do turn left and right a few times while sleeping, I think its fine. If persistent pain, then let gynae know.

Yuki, sorry to hear abt ur fall. Hope its ok. Look out for bb movements and any discharge etc. If not, should be fine, although understand natural to worry and wan to scan to confirm.
 
gg same as me... i sleep on my side then bb keep moving then i also change side... barley i think can drink but not too sweet...

do u all still hot in the night? sweat?
 
Yuki..I think spring maternity has nice clothes, and they are a steal during sales.

Also can buy sweet baby doll dresses from any shops. Zara has nice dresses in recent sales too!I find these look less "auntish" than most maternity dresses.

GG, only last nite having brown discharge but today seem ok ... my gynae told me if today ok then shld be alright ...i havent start feeling bb movement so hard to monitor

i still have duphaston the last time given for brown discharge so i juz take a pill
 
ice, me too, i've been wearing crocs cyprus to work everyday, switching between the few colours to match my outfit.

Jo...yes, tends to feel warmer. I on the aircon everyday and yet I always kick the quilt off the bed when I sleep. Hubby every night has to pick it up...hahahaha...

I try to dress light when I sleep. Actually when I read books, they say when we sleep can strip down to just bare essentials so it is most comfy.
 
GG, which spring maternity have more choice? I went to the one at causeway pt but quite limited...for their jean do they do alteration?

Ice, i liked a few flats but feel tat look more like slippers n my boss dun really like it ...so i switch back to low heels...if only can wear slippers i dun mind ...more confortable
 
chantal, u feel cold at night? i only feel cold at office, duno y ...at night i on aircon whole night but still feel warm n hot...
 
i feel cooling at night... not warm at all. i on fan n cover my whole body...

normal rgt?? i know preggy normally feel extremely hot than normal... but i dont ler..

thanks ladies…coz I read that sleeping on the left side is gd for baby so I tried to sleep on the left for the whole night lol…okie shall try to change side when necessary…maybe baby don’t like me sleeping in the same position for too long

anyway I don’t feel hot leh…still scared of cold at times

Yuki, must take care wor. I walk extremely slowly nowadays. Coz i keep feeling that bb will drop out if i walk too fast as i keep experiencing pain at the lower abdomen. Btw Yuki, if u feel insecure, pls go ahead w the scan...coz yr next scan is still 3 wks away mar....I bery kiasu keep doing scan in my 1st trimester coz my round ligament pain keep coming back.....

Janiz, i experienced the same thing like wat you mentioned. But most likely it's round ligament pain. It's common for some women just that mine was more intense till i couldn't walk. So, i quickly went in the morning to do a scan as the pain lasted for some time. Lucky, he's ok.

janiz : i feel the same as u, cramps or tummy pain when i sleep on my left side, checked with my gynae, he has mentioned it is normal.

Sometimes i wonder who will bb look after leh? both me and hubby small eyes, so bb sure small eyes lo...

Do u gals feel bb movements thru'out the day huh? or occassinally in the morning, sometimes abit at night huh?

I dun really feel bb's movements yet leh. oni sometimes i think abit feeling like maybe at nite, sometimes abit in the afternoon..
 
manu i feel occassionally... i think my bb dont like me to wear pants cos whenever i wear pants he like not happy keep moving...

even i talk to bb asking to move or poke me, no reaction leh...hahahaha..but always hear u gals saying talk to bb dun kick, then bb stop kicking...hahahaa..so guai lo.
 
wat i feel is sometimes 2-3 pokes continously. But then no more liao. until maybe at nite or dunno when. Not often in a day can feel lo...
 
manu- how many weeks are u?
me in 22 weeks today..
takes time.. from what i read, we dun hav nerve cells in uterus or something.. so its not easy to feel unless its a bigger kick that it hits something else then we can feel.
 
Morning ladies, i'm wondering any mummies here drive and normally you will put the bb car seat in the front or back when u're driving alone with the bb? Paiseh huh, cause i 1st time mummy so thinking if hubby is busy and i have to take my princess out, how should i go about it?
 


i do feel bb's movement too.... Sometimes i giggled out coz his movements made me feel bery itchy. Hee. But i heard that when the bb gets bigger, the kicks n punches will get stronger and mummies may feel slight pain. Is that true?
