Glass: Maybe because it's the crowd hahha...cos at the trial we know each other and so are more at ease.

Actually I realised that trial classes are usually better than their usual ones. We went kindermusik for our lesson yesterday and got teacher Doreen (the one that you guys got during your trial) to conduct the class. It was so enjoyable! And the class was full and many of the parents were there for trial. So, I suspect they make it good so that people will sign up.

Talking abt the mozzie repellent... i feel for them so much... thou i dun hv any wif me, was thinking to buy some repellent for them so it comes in handy for them. cant imagine the little ones down wif dengue fever!

Hi Ladies,

The first round of collections for Roslin went really well. Great teamwork. We had a rather "organic" way of doing things but hey, it works. I hope the kids like what we give. And for those too young to know like/dislike...that they can benefit!

I've since had several mummies who have reached out to say they would like to participate in a second round..and yeah..why not? The likely date is early Nov. Budi is having 50 Singaporeans who will be going to the orphanage in December...amazing..there are those who are committing to helping build new dormitory rooms, some involved in clearing vegetation to plant crops (yes, self-reliance on their own veggies), others who would be helping in kitchens and folks helping with English lessons etc etc. Obviously I can't be a part of that - but I think that's such a meaningful way for these people to spend their Dec holidays. Thus, this big group can help with bringing up more stuff then if need be.

So here goes for those who have missed out on the first round. Do remember to pack in things that are usable (no disposable diapers pls), not soiled/stained and for medicines/formula, be sure to label the expiry dates clearly, any special instructions etc. Thank you all for the kind gestures!

Second Round (Estimated Date: Early Nov ~ Nov 3/4/5 - TBC)- with 20/20 hindsight, I suggest placing the stuff you wish to donate behind your name (this helps to faciliate whoever who might be helping you ferry the stuff over to know how big/small your items are going to be):

Lately find that my boy's poo poo is more adult submarine type. hard hard type. But he did drink a lot of water every day. more than 180 ml for sure. Not sure if its how it 'evolved' or its a sign of potential constipation? he seem to be straining and crying when poo poo.
