wow! your baby sure eats a lot! my girl only takes abt 1-2 tbsp and sometimes can't even finish. should i be thankful she's such a small eater? haha.. but then quite worried, she;s only 6.5kg at 5mths old, seems much lighter then a lot of the other sept babies here.

i'm so tired!
last night my gal woke me up at 3am, 4am and finally at 6am! 1st time i think was wet diaper (which wasn't THAT wet also), 2nd time she flipped to her belly and couldn't flip back and got agitated..3rd time, she flip to belly again and this time woke up eyes big big smiling at me. i nearly wanna pull my hair out. my hb is outta town for 1 wk. never quite realise that the extra 1 hr of sleep i get in the morning (he feeds the 1st feed before going to work) and takes baby off my hands for abt 1hr after he come back from work is so important to me. plus these 2 days baby waking up at odd hours, i'm really getting baby overload... going a bit crazy already.

i'm so tired!

rach, think there is no perfect way to it lor...guess it's good for baby to find comfort, but if they keep waking up also lack sleep. dr said no good leh, baby should sleep thru the night liao le...... mummy also will lack sleep...
only whether we mummies can tahan the lack of sleep if baby keep waking up...

Jolimilk> depends on how serious la.. Rayanne will only wake up like once at 3am or plus minus that timing sometimes.. Not every nite.. Sometimes yes sometimes no.. Guess because I'm not working yet so doesn't affect me that much..
N if she cries.. I'll carry her frm cot to bed.. Latch n I'll fall asleep.. She will drink till she happy m she'll fall asleep too..
I'll wake up few hrs later m my breasts still exposed de loh..
Den keep me breasts n continue to sleep till her next feed..
So she'll sleep in her cot for 2-3hrs before she actually wakes up...
I left home without pacifier today n she dun wanna sleep.. Had a tough time man.. Finally went to buy a pair of NUK silicone n she fell asleep on 30sec after pacifier popped in.. She keep weh weh the moment I put her into stroller man.. Carry till chiu sng Lo...
Finally pacifier saved my arms.. Now she's sound asleep.. Heh...
I realized starlight version of pacifier has different covers than normal ones... The teats also different.. It's silicone.. I used to buy latex ones.. But since gonna use bottle for drinking soon I bought silicone Lo.. Nicer colors also.. Lol...

babies waking up at nite> i agree the fastest way to coax baby back to sleep when dey wake up is by latching, but can u imagine doing tat for dunno how long? for me, i do the do not feed baby method, and my effort paid off in 3 days. since tat 3days, i nv need to wake up to latch my boy anymore. n seldom he ever wakes up in de nite now too

oh..can still fit at 2.5yrs old? but i was looking at the tray, its fixed one rite? is it difficult to put baby in and take baby out? coz the proper baby highchairs the trays are adjustable and slidable as the baby grows.
similac FM stage 1 transition to stage 2
if i remember correctly, my PD said to mix both FM half half each for each feed. is this the correct way ah? any mummies feeding similac knows can advise?

I've problem getting Josiah & Janelle's legs into the chair when dining outside. But what I HATE most about the chair is e legs. Ppl always trip/stumble over it. Happens so often when my children are in it. They will get startled or spill their food

today my girl didn't want to eat her cereal meal. not sure what happened. she eat abit then kept spitting it out. previously was ok leh. do babies go on cereal strike too?! *stress*

sam fell from my bed n crashed face first on the floor. my bed frame is the higher than usual type plus mattress also 14inch thick. poor sam *sob sob*
i left him on the bed n went into the bathroom to wet a hanky to wipe his puke. stupid mummy. who gives a **** abt some stupid puke n rash when bb might die from a fall. argh! i m overwhelmed by my stupidity

Oh no! Hope Sam is ok. Must monitor closely cos he hit his head. Dun blame yourself, u didn't expect this to happen but we have to be more careful with our bb now cos they are getting more mobile. The other day, I left Ian on the bed (side near to the wall) and went to the toilet, when I came out, somehow, he was tummy down at the edge of the bed with 1 leg dangling out! Luckily he decided that position is comfortable and stopped moving. Now I always put him in his cot.

But thank God she was okay... its not ur fault entirely... but we really need to watch them now that they have learnt to be more mobile..

Jul, just monitor him and see if there are anything out of the norm. Honestly at least for my own experience, all kids will encounter a bad fall and a hospital stay at least once in their kiddo days. So don't blame urself about it k? I'm sure Sam will be fine.

Few nights my boy make me wake up every 1 hour 2 hours leh.... my eyes were -.- when he woke me up! Now he wakes up every 2-3hours for milk at NIGHT!!! It's really wierd.. he seemed to be very hungry.. and he's really very very active!! I'm really curious in how much he drinks each feed especially his night feed which can take him 40-80mins!

Thank yoU! Initially i wanted to pump and let my mum feed so that i can aim to start work in january.. i even went for interview twice with zander in my sling lor... but end up i got to turn down the job offer because my nephew (whom already taken care by my mum since he's born) faces some problem in school and daily life... and my mum cant really help me look after my boy. No choice, i have to sacrifice in a way for the sake of my son! And since i never work, i didn't pump. My pump never even open ceremony before loh... all still in the box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hardly buy clothes for myself but it's because CNY then i buy loh.... then i scare i cannot wear bottoms mah so must try.... hahaa.... end up i zip up that time kiap my own skin! tmd! so painful... hahaa....

Thankssss!! Haha... I never celebrate with my in laws one... for 10yrs they know me, they don't know when is my birthday and never bothers when is my birthday....
My baby cry when waking up at night leh.... and my hb won't wake up when it happened.... so i'm still the one waking up to settle him!!! And most of the time, my hb is sleeping in camp or forest while i am back at my mum's place... so it's as good as i'm the one looking after baby every min every sec except for the time i go pee/poo/shower. Or else everywhere i go, surely can see this fatty koala bear clinging on to this walking tree! wahahaaaa.....
If i leave him alone or pat him to sleep, its totally useless cos he really seemed to be hungry.. he can drink for 15-20mins leh..... i dont know what to do also... but i keep telling myself... nevermind its okay... i must learn not to complaint when he loves to drink my milk.... cos once he starts on semi-solid food, he might not drink that much liao and i will miss the moment with him! So i must treasure and dont complaint so much... But indeed it's really super duper tiring...... especially when he wakes me every 1-2hours.... -.-"

CNY also never give me angpao lor.... LOL! -.-

MIL feed my gal cereal yesterday mornng using my boy's one. Happily she told me she want to eat but after that rejected BM the whole day. End up only took 5 bottles instead of the usual 7.
Last nite told her that cereal got milk content thus is sweet.BM not sweet, of course reject lor. futhermore, the way she make cereal also weird. Pour in hot water to the cereal, then add BM. Faintz.
Initially wanted to start the cereal when she turn 6mth which is 3 weeks later.

Oh..I bot vitamins from them a few times.. so far ok leh. Think prob my vitamins r quite bulky bah. The box size is standard so really hv to fill it up or else you will be paying for air.

oh...u started a spree on happybellies? i don't know if i wanna join your spree because my girl seems to be rejecting her cereal. but my happybelly is running low, left about 1/3 tin only. when do u think you'd be ordering and takes how many wks to arrive in sg? but i'm also wondering if i should change brand. i wanted to ask u if u wanted to join in to get healthy times instead? thought i wanna try another brand see if she will want it more or not. *stress* i think i got a picky eater on my hands!

i tried mixing in the organix puree i bought for her leh... she doesn't want.
i've been wasting so much cereal actually, tried making more watery she don't want, tried maybe thicker, she also don't want, mix puree in also don't want, just mix with water she also don't want! *cry* and still drinking 100-120ml milk per feed! stress man. recently she managed to gain half a kg in about 2.5wks. so afraid she lose back the weight again.

i think i wanna try carrot puree, gonna go buy carrots to make puree later. read the book, they say carrots are sweet so most babies like them. hopefully she likes! ytd, i went to look for avocado at Cold Storage, but couldn't find any. where can i get avocado???

Huh... I didn't know that sweet potato causes wind?? I just know that it's ranked as the "number one healthiest vegetable". It's excellent source of vitamin A and a very good source of vitamin C and manganese. It also contain vitamin B6, potassium, iron, copper, and dietary fiber.
I give sweet potato v often to my children. Jed has taken it for 3 days, today will be 4th day.. so far so good. I'm not so much into Potato as it doesn't match up terms of nutritional value.
e Chinese Physician @ Yu Guo also nv mention anything when I mention Jed is taking sweet potato
