"will swing her legs left right up down and sometimes do butt ups!" sounds like mine too!!! her legs are always kicking and lifting up such that they are 90 degrees to her stomach!! always have a tough time telling her to keep her legs down so i can wipe her butt and change the diaper.. mayb i should be happy she cant flip yet.. otherwise more diff yah...

yes we just started putting her in the car seat not long ago.. she seems ok in it but will makes whimpering sounds when the car stops.. quite cute actually. Sometimes she will wails but that's cos it's her feeding time. I'll just take her out or leave her in it crying lor. i'm using the Ferrari car seat for 3months onwards. Felt so relax and hands free now that she's sitting in the car seat.. hehe

yes yes it's ur smell... my gal was even looking ard for me when it's her feeding time. Just ytd i wanted to get a drink first b4 i feed her and she saw me walk pass ignoring her and she started to cry. She knows i'm the one who will be feeding her.. die liao lah cos i'm returning to work, need to start her on bottle routine soon. I've been giving her 1 bottle a day just b4 bedtime, hope this dont confuse her when i go back to work.

i did put him once in the baby carseat maxicosi to try out. around 10mins he start whimpering already. I guess i better start now if not every car ride will be a headache to me.

my little one willstart fidgeting when the car stops and cannot underestimate his strength man. After every car ride, im totally drained off...

Can use the airplane blanket to cover anot ah? or nursing cover is better? I'll be alone,if its a man sitting beside me, i have no choice but to go toilet. If a queue forms outside the toilet, wah i would be paiseh. So i have to go at really odd hours. I should be dumping my milk as i don't have a freezer with me. Sandwich - did you keep your milk? But hotel room no freezer hor!

Amazon having sale at $10.99 but I tried to add 10books plus shipping work out to be $24++ each. Depends on exchange rate also.

ETA: 17-31days but I reckon we dun need the book in the next 30 days at least..

I dont sleep together w him on the bed..he sleeps on the bed and i sleep on the floor and kept a distance away leh..din know bb can smell so far...

I can't remember the exact figure, but I recently read somewhere before that babies can smell their moms' breasts from up to 6 feet away or something.
If my hubs is giving Kee a bottle, I can't even be in the same room or the bottlefeeding will fail.

If cot mobile don't work then I have no other suggestions liao. Unless you all wanna be cruel like me and scold baby when he moves/kicks around during diaper change...

The cot mobile trick only works for me until they turn abt 4 mths old, then after that is down to sheer scolding already.
If I'm in a good mood then I'll make funny faces and talk to him, so he concentrates on staring at my face and won't move around. But have to scold and tell him don't kick also. So nonetheless have to scold. (Poor baby.)

actually my girl does fuss abit if the car stops too long at the traffic lights. she just wants the car to move.. i think she likes the motion!

what time is your last feed at night before u put your bb to sleep? try to feed until max max, so she will feel bao bao and it might help to train her to sleep throughout the night. also, try to teach her what is day sleep and night sleep. example, day sleep don't make the room too dark. then night sleep establish some routine like wipe down/bath then change PJs, kiss and say sweet dreams...then off all lights, make the room really dark. my girl can fall asleep at night on her own now.

babies can sense the mommies presence. sometimes when hb is carrying my girl and i come into the room, although she cannot sight me, but she can sense my presence and will try to turn and look for me even though i did not make a sound or call her.

my girl will also get excited with her cot mobile, will tend to fidget even more! thats why i never change diaper in the cot. :p

My last feed is 8 or 8.30pm. Bottle cum latch on...i did what you have done but he cant sleep on his own most of the time he needs to suckle to sleep..

Din know bb so smart and their senses so sensitive..

hmm..sounds like your bb has gotten into the habit of using u as a human pacifier. keke... happened to me before i started introducing the pacifer to her. do u use pacifer?

Hi all, Seem like evryone was preparing or getting ready to prepare food for their little one.

My Boy just manage to flip over 2 days ago. He still regurigate milk like no body biz..... but PD said he is putting on weight so its still ok.

Sigh.... i just send my elder to childcare this monday and today he is down with flu at home. Any recommendation to help prevent children from getting flu easily. I start feeding my boy with multi vit 3 week ago. He always got this sensitive nose issue. He sneeze alot when he wake up in the morning and his nose seem block whenever he sleep.

how u wean off! teach me! My boy will only pui out whenever he dun feel like having it but then if he is crying. i need it to comfort him

when my bb cried, i will either carry him or talk to him..keep him distracted..sometime i just let him cried..after continued this for 3-4 days, he no longer need the pacifier. My PIL will nag but i just ignor them. Lucky, i dont stay with them if not will have issues...cos different methods and to them as a 1st time mum, i dont hv the experience to take care of the bb

your bb weaned off pacifier when 2 mths?? i think i only started to give my girl pacifier when around 2 mths old, when i buay tahan her need to keep suckling me then can sleep. especially when she suckles like damn long over 1 hr... suck me dry already but still want to suck suck and suck!!!

Mummies whose babies can smell you when you enter room and want you to feed, i really envy loh. although my baby drinking my expressed milk, she don't want me to feed. everytime i try feeding her she'll scream the house down. i only started work for 1 month and already she's so used to the maid, no1 else can feed her or carry her to sleep...sob sob

i see. don't be discouraged k!! when u're back from work, try to spend time talking, carrying or even reading to her even though she may not understanding what you're reading right now. all these creates bonding with baby. i guess because baby sees the maid the whole day more then you, thats why. at 3-4 mths babies start to recognise face and scent. so make the quality time count!

My first day back to work!!! so tired!!! but lucky my boy slept through from 9pm to 6am this morning... want to buy 4D!!! he must be giving me face since this is my first day of work after the long leave

i also send my #1 to childcare starting this mon. i've been giving her BM if i have expressed extra, hope this can help to strengthen her immune system. the childcare centre also gives the kids cod liver oil
