I agree with Mama_2_6Js, you are too tired and seriously need a break! Is it possible for you and hubby to go out without your baby for 1-2 hours? If not, then how about take half day or 1 day leave for yourself to relax, don't stay at home, go out to have a breath of fresh air.
Baby is a baby. He is changing everyday and it's hard for us to predict what he wants or what he can do the next day. We definitely don't know what they feel and want. Relax, you are not alone, we all facing the same problems in one way or another, the different is how each mummy faces/tackles the problems. If you keep thinking why he can't do this and that, then you will be even more depressed, cos in actual fact, he simply knows nothing and not capable to do anything, at this tender young age. How about changing your mindset. To think that baby is like a piece of white paper. He came to this world knowing nothing. So be grateful when you observe something new about him. For example, he smiles to me today. On the next day, you say to your hub, hey, his smile is different from yesterday, so cute. The next day, you might observe that he can lift his hand up to 45 degree. Then the next day all the way 90 degree. Baby knows nothing, even to put on a smile is something he has to learn how to control his face muscle. Observe and appreciate all those little small changes on him. Sleeping through the night involves even more complex skills and coordination - a bigger tummy that can hold more reserve energy, ability to soothe himself back to sleep, etc. My baby is also NOT sleeping through the night, but it's ok, as long as I can still have enough energy to wake up the next day to go to work, I would count it a blessing already. Take one thing at a time. Relax and enjoy your baby!!!
