yah ur boy drinks a lot leh! 1.3l a day? wah! he must be v fat now! and ur ss oso must be super good lor! mine only drinks 150ml 3 hourly and thank God finally he started to sleep thru 7 hrs at nite.

my ss seems to dip a little recently cos i been v lazy to latch on, maybe only once or twice a day. but heng still more than enuf for him to drink. been so busy cos one maid went back for home leave will only be back in a week so now left with one maid only, super busy!

just in case i dun get to post next few days,

personally i find it very shiong to use milkbags for everyday use. why not try the pigeon storage bottles? i think $5+/bottle divided by $0.40 = use bottle 13 times = 13 milkbag liao leh.

actually i ordered too many medela storage bottles also. u want hehe? 21.50USD before shipping

gd that u n ur mum got closer. can think as blessing in disguise? my mum n i also spend more time together now that she comes up whenever she has a day off. no doubt shespends her time playing/feeding sam so often 'ignores' me when i'm talking to her, but she's still there if u know what i mean haha

anyway after supply got better, she doesn't wanna feed him! ended up i'm still the one feeding *faint*

i got boots milkbags from my fren liao. got 40 bags. marking till 200ml, but think can put a lot more like lasinoh. guess they will last me a v long time. maybe till 6mths so i dun need to buy lasinoh now.

i haven't used it yet. gonna finish the playtex liners 1st. then the boots ones will last me a looong time. by then they're finished, i think sam will hit 6 mths liao. so may not pump anymore.

i got like 4boxes of lansinoh n alot of boots, my first year, blue egg spare milkbag. think i can no need buy milkbag le. i one day only use one bag. cos now i give bb watever i pump during wkday for nxt day feed. den store de excess. abt 200ml in one bag. wkend juz latch n pump occasionally, abt 200ml excess to store too. so with like 250+ milkbags, can last me like another 8mths? keke. maybe by than i can stop breastfeeding liao =x

is the boots one gd? does it come with self-sealable like lansinoh? how much did u get it for ar? from where? cheaper than lansinoh?? the cheapest lansinoh i've seen is $17 for 50bags.
 
milkyway> keke. no la. i meant to say i got 250empty milkbags, considering i only use one bag a day to store excess milk, de 250bags can last me 8mths. not tat i got deep freezer to keep de milk n can last 8mths. deep freezer only can last 4mths i think. i store de milk in seperate compartment in freezer. think can keep 3mths at least?

now i got 3 boxes of those and a newly opened lansinoh, so can use quite long also. i play cheat cos at night feed 2 rounds of fm, if not where got excess to store! then since one bag can store more than wad the box says, then i tink min i will store 8oz each le. but i dun like to store milk expressed from 2 diff days leh... sian..

hubs on leave till next mon so i will pump more tis wk. but.... today is pampering day for me!! gg for pedi, etc later! yeah!

u can skip storing 1 day n use the excess ebm for next day, so that next day u can store more from the same day's pumping? that's what i do. tdy lazy / busy to store, so i will just keep the ebm for 2moro's feed. then i will store the excess from the next day. if not, i also dun have enough to store 8oz

Yeah lor. I count liao. Cheaper than Playtex liners so I bot lor. And I dunno if I can continue pumping after Sam starts on solids, coz will be busy preparing his food, feeding, cleaning up. And by then he'll be more active, need to pay more attn. So I dun wanna buy too many milkbags, later have to resell.

Deep freezer is like those that jenifur has. Like used for business one? haha

Pigeon one very hard to wash away the oily one.. and like wat u mention. the marking really cant see..

ur medela 6bottles 5ounce is it the same size as what is come with the pump kind? can it store more then 150ml, cuz each breast i can pump upto 180ml lioa

pack of 6, roughly one bottle almost the same price as pigeon bottle, if its the same as what is come with the medela pump. i think its much much better then pigeon one lor..

my boy is 8.5kilos at 3.5month old... his neck cant be seen..

my boy is de smallest i think, havent weigh him for a long time, but i think he is still 6.2kg at most nia, but the last time i measure, oredi 66cm or so =p

But it's 21.50USD leh.. with shipping, it shd be ard S$40 for 6 bottles n the caps, colars, nipples etc etc. But still cheaper than Spore. One of the Medela bottles that come with the pump costs $10+!!!! I bot 10 in Spore lor!!

thanks for uploading the pix for me. Ya, i wish bottle with marking.

i like medela bottle which come with the pump so much... thawn fast, warm up milk fast, easy to wash away the oily and the marking is ez to read..

you said that you combine bm expressed during different times in the day to freeze? can meh? i thought we need to put ebm in freezer immediately if we intend to store?

but how come ur gal still so small? tot dey suppose to double birth weight by 3-4mths? she coming 4mths soon le rite?

deebee> if u wanna store de ebm in freezer, juz need to do so 24hrs within expressed. so can still combine milk expressed from diff sessions
 
jul - yeah tt was wad i have been doing when i need to store 6oz. so average every wk i can store 5 6oz packs. but 8oz hor, takes longer so now only can store every other day, so not shiok to see the milkbags growing at a decreasing rate...

recently i cut nails for my boy, and mittens free, his face still got alot of scratch cuts. sigh...

how to make their nails smooth &amp; smooth after cuting ah, or how to prevent their face being cut by their fingers nails beside wearing mittens
 
flower4> nope. no more mittens since he turned 1mth. initially is like this. alot of scratches, slowly will get lesser. now only like occasionally got scratches. dey need to learn tat it's pain to scratch themselves

de nail clipper set i bought him comes with a few nail files for babies nail too. like a mini manicure set for babies =p

u can try to file their nails a bit, thats what i do. but u got to do it very slowly and gently because the nails so soft. aiya, but despite doing it, my gal still also got scratches from time to time on her face. their nails grow very fast!

recently my gal's been turning her head from right to left quite violently. how to describe?..she's like lying down flat on her back then she kinda swings her head left right left right continuously. i notice she does it too when she's just about to wake up, her eyes would be close still and she keeps doing that until i keep saying 'hey hey...open your eyes, look at mummy' and eventually she opens her eyes then stop. why ah? is she like practising her neck muscles or what? or having a nightmare?!
