I also have loopsided breasts. Right side yield less than left by about 20 - 30ml. been like that since day 1
Wanna check with the mummies here if anyone experience pump becoming less and less effective in clearing the breast. Last time after pump at most i can only hand express out 5 - 10ml, but now, the breast still feels abit hard, and i can easily express out 30ml. Can be more if not for the fact my hand tired and i gave up

My gal has some minor urine reflux to her kidney, and scarring at the kidney as well, but doc says not the serious type. have to monitor and go for yearly scanning. must watch very carefully for fever coz if she kanna uti again, she will have to be on antibiotics for 3 years!!!! *faintz* and during this time, if she kanna a 3rd time, then possible will have to operate

hi mummies! this is my first time posting.
got a query, hopefully someone can advise.
i need to be away from my baby for about 5 days in jan next year. thinking of pumping and freezing bm in advance so that my baby can have my fbm while i'm away.
are milk storage bags good? how do you thaw fbm and once thawed, how long can they last? i'm worried about milk wastage.

Milk storage bags are good but not for me because I'm an environmental freak. You could try out the milk trays some mommies here are using. Some thaw FBM by taking out the FBM and transferring down to the fridge the night before. Some sit the milk in water and in the fridge. Trial and error for each individual. FBM once out of the freezer lasts 24hrs in the fridge.

Just got back fm nearby clinic. Took my #2 for her pneumococcal jab besides seeing the GP for my cough and rhinitis.

Think it depends on individual baby, some can latch immediately after a jab while others can't. My #1 got to latch first before jab.

Yes.. difficult to train 2 at a time. My previous one has taken quite good care of my kids so far and maintained the house in rather spick and span condition. 2 Filipinas this time. yest missed my afternoon nap and Josh still wakes up twice in e middle of the nite for milk and i always have to leave him on e rocker for 40mins before letting him lay flat to sleep, so was quite tired till i have my power nap just now... i think when im back to work i will yawn big time in the afternoon.
angel, Michelle> sometime he sleeps in his rocker in the afternoon... actually can sleep much longer than in his cot. ha also dont understand why he prefers his rocker bec when i carry him, his back is always very warm and sweaty.

Are the playtex milk liners better than Lansinoh? But, why it looks so full with 180ml of milk?? I'm storing 300ml to 360ml in each Lansinoh and it doesn't look as full when I lie the bags flat neatly in the freezer... If freezer isn't running out of space, guess I'll be using lots of bottles.

oh...i didn't read abt that news regarding giving water. but usually i give abt 10ml only. she does not like it! can see her face all scrunched up when she realise its not milk. lol.

i dunno why sam's poo went up to 3/4x. but seems like i'm having some problem with my gals poo. ytd she did not poo and today yet to poo.

oh no.. poor thing. do u cut her nails? my hb cuts bb's nails but still long, unable to cut very short. the last time he tried to cut shorter, he accidently clipped her flesh and she bled a bit. needless to say, cried like mad. :/ now daytime i let her be without mittens, u should see the scratches on her face! but usually after a few hrs or very most the next day it will disappear. then she scratch her face with new scratches again! *faint*

Still have a few more errands to complete this December before I start work. Hope to find some time to relax too but got to be somewhere near since I usually can only take 1 or 2 kids out each time.
Don't feel secure leaving the 2 new maids alone with my kids for too long as yet.

my gal recently loves to talk a lot. and its giving me a headache n problem with feeding. everytime i feed her, she wants to talk! feed halfway, she decides she doesn't want to suckle anymore and instead goes gooo-ahh-waa... feeding jusst 1 bottle of 120ml now takes like forever n must have breaks inbetween for talking. anyones bb also like that?! i keep telling her...finish milk milk 1st ok...then we can talk all u want. but of coz she can't understand me. lol.

Don't worry, I also steam sterilise before. You can ask Jul. I also scream when it come out milky color and not see-thru anymore.
After a while the blurriness will clear up and go back to the see-thru way it was before.

Mine also likes to smile or go "er er" and let the milk leak out in between drinking. So, I told my maid to burp her and not talk to her while she's drinking. She doesn't even want to drink from bottle when I carry her and prefers me to latch her. Sometimes also like that when I latch her... can suddenly stop halfway and smile or gurgle at me. Sigh.
