oh..they provide basic toiletries? hmm..but toiletries i'd bring my own. actually the bath towel is more for my hb, not me. i dun think i have chance to bathe? for myself i'd bring a small face towel, give myself 'dry bath'.

No more updates from Jul leh. I also don't dare to sms/call her in case she resting. Cos her labor started 11pm mah, means she probably didn't sleep all night leh. She'll definitely login and post when she's well-rested.

Can't feel anything happening since contractions stopped ard 2.30pm on Thursday. Back to waiting game!

But at least now no more risk of C-sec unless I go overdue.

actually how long is Jul admit to hospital b4 her bb pop ah? u mean she suffer through out the nite til next morning pop ah?

infact experience contraction and cannot pop is no good la ley.. in some cases its actually put stress to bb mah..

jus keep calm la, and wait for full term ok

Oh so you were actually looking for a container to sterilize is it? If that’s it then the microwavable salad bowl will do for you.
For me, hubby bought that Biokips container so I can transport the breastpump here &amp; there &amp; ensure the sterilized parts are kept clean. But I don’t intend to use that Biokips container to sterilize with sterilizing tablets, just to transport it cleanly only. Sterilise I will do at home like what Flower says.

Oh I see, that’s why you started taking ginger… ya it can be very spicy but shiok too!
I also ever tried those pan-fried chicken dumplings with the ginger strips and black sauce. Nice!

O dear are you ok after the heartburn &amp; vomiting? Yours also very xin ku, poor you.
It’ll be over soon, delivering baby will be a cure to a lot of our pains now. Some of my friends even told me, after thay had their first baby, even their period cramps not so cialat as before. I’m looking forward to that cos my period cramps, every 3 mths will be so painful that I can nearly faint!

Gaining about 12-15 kg is quite the norm right? Anyway I think I recall they mentioned you’re the petite kind right, sure can lose one if your frame is meant to be small.
(Cos I’ve never seen you before, I’m a dinosaur; no Facebook account also =P )

Your husband v funny wanna cut off your access at 11pm! *whahaha* Don’t let my hubby see this &amp; get ideas, cos I spend ALOT on the overseas sprees and BP pages too! Like, everything I also I feel I need! Then buy and buy my hubby felt so STRESSED seeing soo many packages coming through our mailbox! Plus he had to drive me here &amp; there sometimes to collect the spree items, now I think back I feel so bad =P

Actually bring luggage also not a bad idea le. Cos easy to trolley around and can put so many things! And you need some extra space for freebies that hosp may give you.

But for me, I have packed 3 separate bags. I huge tote bag for my stuff, 1 backpack for hubby since he’s rooming in with me, and 1 big envirobag for babies’ stuff =)

I think you mentioned before you’re a workaholic? But maybe you can consider getting some rest nearing the delivery of your baby. What’s more your pelvis is aching badly, must be tough for you They say standing/walking a lot helps to bring on labour cos of the gravity.

Sorry I’ve not felt the thumping/vibrating feeling so can’t advise you on that question.

bopianz, as i have very very bad morning sickness &amp; gastrisis til my 7month preggie and i have told Dr Wong, before tat she already advise me to prepare my morning sickness &amp; this stomarch problem will reappear in my 3rd trimester...

me too everymonth i suffer 10hrs of menses cramp before the big blood croak fell off... i oso hope i have no more menses cramp after birth.... lets us pray together

Aiyo, how can you use the word "suffer"?? It's such a bad word to use for such a joyous event of childbearing!

I'm not sure what time exactly she admitted, but she sms me at 11+pm saying she's heading to hosp cos got bleeding. Then 12.03am say she kenna warded cos 1.5cm dilated with regular contractions. So yah, she had contractions through the night then pop in the morning lor.

Ya lor, my gynae also say contraction but no dilation is no good. That's why she said I would have to go admit hosp by 6pm that day (Thursday) if my contractions didn't stop. Cos I had C-sec before, plus K is quite big, the stress on my old C-sec wound &amp; the baby can be quite significant if I drag too long without medical supervision. And if still don't stop, have to C-sec liao.

But heng lor, after I left the gynae's clinic, my contractions stopped.

I've been telling my cervix to jiayou jiayou liao. So far still been quite calm. Just got very disappointed that day when contractions so long, then check the dilation still only 1 stupid cm. Then gynae say may have to C-sec me. Then I very very disappointed &amp; worried lah. But now no more contractions, I rather just slowly wait lor.

oh i wanna ask.. to bring the gynea receipts to hosp for the claims. Just bring the receipts with the main amount that is over $450 can? no need to bring all the receipts from start to end hor?

For me no hope to get 090909 date, likely to go thru c-sec next week cos Week 38 next week.

tat day i jus ask my mum birth story, i was 8pounds when born and her time no pain killer at all , not even injection kind jus pain and til pop... i would say last time mummies are more WeiDa... and really Brave!!

yep, i also heard from friends that after giving birth their terrible monthly period cramps went away. i hope its true!!! coz before pregnancy, i every month also suffer from terrible cramps. i cannot do without ponstan, surely must take every month for 1st day when period comes. if not, i will be in so much pain until my legs turn to jelly, can't eat at all, break out in cold sweat and juz lie helplessly in bed! i experience all that a few times when i ran out of ponstan. :/

yep.. usually its bring the receipt when u sign the package with the gynae. that amt should be easily over $450 already. so u claim using that recipt, don't have to bring all the receipts.

Might as well just get a mattress and put over our mattress right. Hahahahaa. IF it stains already, then throw loh. Better than throw away queen size mattress which is costly right! IF still can use again, then wash it, sun it, keep it.... for future use again! :) i think i ever saw the foldable kind.. very thin only.. sometimes being LELONG at OG or ISETAN or whatever..... always want to buy but my hb say buy and put where? i did buy bibs for my 1st baby, but she don't like to wear it. plus i think it's faster if i take a cloth and just wipe her mouth if anything drips.

my hubby keep persuading me to take epi, he say he dun wan me to suffer...or trigger my asthma things like tat.... on the other hand im so afraid of all side effect tat epi will give.. like vomiting or shivering. &amp; etc... more torture like tat...
