Woah... I just recieved another news! Hubby's fren's wife just gave birth to their daughter last saturday; the one who helped us purchase our bb cot from bb hypermart at a much cheaper price. She was supposed to be due in September like us! This is making me really nervous wor~

Hello mommies!!
Once again I woke up late today. I blame the rainy weather!! Really am getting less energetic with each passing day liao. Quality of sleep also getting worse. *Sigh*

Personally for me, my BH mostly feel like menstrual cramps, so it does hurt on varying levels. Sometimes bad until I cannot move, sometimes just crampy feeling. I've never had the "painless hardening" of tummy before lor!

Green curry was damn shiok lah!! Went to Thai Smile Cafe on Lorong Telok (near Boat Quay) and my hubs ate with me also. We ordered their Set A, which comes with sweet sour fried fish, green curry, sambal kangkong and 2 plates of rice for $25! They also have the authentic Thai iced milk tea. Damn nice leh! My hubs also eat until very happy.

The cure for all our pregnancy symptoms: Giving birth lor!

Sorry it's a bit lame, but mostly no cure until bb is born lor. The swelling may be reduced with cold treatment (soaking area in cold water or ice pack), massage to improve blood circulation and to avoid further straining the area so won't swell more. In your case, it probably means not walking/standing too much.

hi mummies!

just to chip in a bit, i think if your health permits, exercise does help relieve pregnancy symptoms. i have been doing prenatal yoga for a few months and so far i do not have much symptoms so i attribute it to the yoga!! it might be a bit late now for some mummies so just a suggestion only. yoga can relieve back ache and improve circulation and hopefully promotes natural birth!

i enrolled in yoga before i know i was preggie.. then by the time i knew, it was 3rd lesson.. but after the subsequent 4th and 5th lesson, the MS plus my hungry "gastric" effect made me puked throughout the rest of the day. so i gave up... =(

ARGHHHH. my shoulder and arms are so painful!! so sian i jus cant get enuf of massage, also at times very disappointing cuz the massue dare not to put much pressure as we are preggie, and i find it waste my time & $$...

A question about strollers... which is better? A 3 wheeler or a 4 wheeler? Have more or less decided on getting a maxi cosi mura.. just don't know 3 or 4 wheels. And of course the girly question of which colour is nicer.. hehheh. Thanks in advance!!

i see i heard my colleague mention about her fren got tis high blood pressure during preggie too, but yours is detected early by your Gynea , Thank God....

you are in control in good hand of your gynea...

JIAYOU !!!! heard tat fish oil will lower blood pressure but i guess yours is due to preggie might not works.....

you have to becareful now, esp temper right.. keep cool ya.. Take Care....

isit really yoga ah? my chiropracticer's wife, oso go yoga very often during preggie and she overdue leh..

i think pains & soreness is depend on mummies body...

initially i go swimming 3 x a weeks, oso kena frozen arms & shoulder pain...

so is oso depend on bb & mummies combination....

jus like Crystalz #1 dun have, #2 then have...

one of my angmoh colleague, his wife oso very active during preggie do all kind of exercise, she oso kena c-section leh.

Oh! the Maxi Cosi Mura... Saw the stroller n the ad at baby hypermart..

I would say a 4 wheeler would be better cos its more stable ba. I would go for Tango Red if I were u. Boy or Gal also suitable.

Heehee, I was also thinking that 4 wheelers are probably more stable but 3 wheelers are probably easier to manouver. Was looking at the Tango red too.. got black and red! Quite stylo! Plus the tango red prambody is on sale (rub hands)

Eh, how come most mommies feel that #2 pregnancy is more uncomfortable than #1? For me, the puking amt is about the same in 1st trimester, except I actually lost weight during this preg with #2. But general health/comfort, I feel so much better this time round! #1 i was like half-dead all the time one lor.

^5! haha.. but i tink for 3 wheelers hor... cos only 1 wheel at the front.. though it may be easier to manouver but it may not be as stable as the 4 wheelers during a turn.. but also la.. the mura should be heavy n stable enough be it a 3/4 wheeler.. but if u compare.. 4 wheeler more stable lo.. u decide ba.. heez

hey jess and flower4,
hehe so far after i go for the lessons weekly, i dun have much complaints. only thing is my legs are always suan (cos i walk a lot....) esp in the morning when i wake up. other than tt and water retention (just learnt that i shld drink more water from shelled! i was actually CUTTING down my water intake!), quite lucky cos no ms, backache, arms and shoulder pain, pelvic suan or anything.... hehe actually i dun mind if baby overdue a bit, as long as baby is healthy!

also my yoga instructor very pro natural birth one so will teach us poses which may aid in natural birth and according to her, some of the students managed to give birth without epidural! so we shall see lar! but i agree, all these pain and soreness quite individual but most of us work in the office, which is why more prone to maybe neck, shoulder, hand and backache. (to much surfing also!!) so in a way, light exercises (and massage) are good to relieve these ailments. the yoga instructor impt also, cos some quite relak so dun get to strengthen the correct muscles

Braxton Hicks is contraction of the tummy muscles..
its not exactly pain and shouldnt be painful...
but u can feel ur tummy muscles being squeezed... i had mine like squeezed around from left to right...
i just froze...coz the contraction was pretty intense...
but i had that just once....

subsequently, i think some milder ones..at various parts of the tummy..

sounds like u had BH..

its a cramp like feeling...

i love doing yoga, esp hot yoga, i use to go true yoga at royal brother bldg at raffle place...

jus tat it is not necessary to say tat pple who go yoga will not prompt to symptoms la...its depend on individual body...

go good body tat go along with good exercise definitely is a plus la..

but body already very bad , u think we can survive in yoga meh... jus like Jess & myself, been suffering since begining of pregnancy....

for me after i recover from my Bad MS & heartburn & gastrisis , i go swimming 3times a week on my 6months plus preggie, soon later, i kena another symptoms!!! which stopped me from going swimming

...

Meishi & Pam, you are lucky preggie mummies with little stymptoms to manage, tat all i would say ....

if im so lucky like u mummies im sure im love to be active & go yoga & etc leh...

This China couple came in while I was starting to do my daily closing. And they are making my blood boil... I have yet to have dinner and they wanna waste my DH time by being so fussy when he had already finished the WHOLE HEAD and telling him when he is done that NOT SHORT ENOUGH.

After he made it shorter.. She want him to Shave LINES on her BF's head... Ahh!!!

* Hungry * ( Maybe that's why my BB looks so small from the outside because I always have dinner after 9.30-10pm sometimes Midnight.)

yala i was told my edd is sep09 then later change to aug09 lor...

hey how many fish oil u take per day ah?

i love taking fish oil

..... everymorning after breakfast, i will ensure i take fish oil & calium pills..

then after noon , after lunch i take multi vite...

now am thinking should i take Iron pills in the evening.... cuz the antenatal class nurse say we will lost 300ml to 400ml of blood during our delviery .faint***
