Got hash brown?! How come I didn't see?? The crepes was really quite good. I ordered one with bananas and chocolate, then add 1 scoop chocolate ice cream! YUM YUM! I've been wanting to eat that again eversince.

yep yep.. all on breastfeeding! and oso she talked abt handling bottle feeding.. which i find it very informative. got including washing, handling and feeding by bottles.. =) which im so clueless till she brought it up.. good for daddy to help when feeding!!

i luv the garlic rice at Shokudo!! shiok! ;P

i got it from BHG Impressions brand - 2 extension in a pack.. i think $4.90 only. cheap and gd! at first i bought 1 from triumph - $6.90 for just 1 extension.. but now 1 not enuff :p

S705 is a very popular model tat y easily oos. s707 isit same as S705? i remember those higher end model den S705 very bulky. S705 is still de best.

Dun worry so much ya..so far my 3 x experiences in TMC has been great.. This time round they even gave me an hamper for being a loyal patient

Midwife from labour ward asked if I want to latch BB immediately for my past 2 labours. In fact I had #2 to my breast immediately &amp; he stayed w us for bout half hr before e nurse come in &amp; said better put him back to warmer.

TBF instruction was given &amp; no glucose feed for my case &amp; my babies were pushed to me every 3hrly in nite. In e day time, they are ok for BB to bunk in with me too. In this round, I saw most of my ward mate had their BB w them in day. Nurse will only wheeled BB back upon mummies request.

If u are staying in 1 bedder, BB can actually stay w u 24hr upon request.

Lataction Consultant was v helpful too.. but of cuz u mus not be paiseh &amp; ask for their help lah. In fact e nursery nurse will keep asking u if everything ok w yr latching etc..

Oh this yr TMC diaper bag is brown in colour.. find it the nicest as compared to the blue &amp; bright green ones I had</font></font>

I just gave them verbal instructions lor.. In fact they will asked you 1st prior giving glucose water or even FM. When they push BB to me, tere's a tag on e cot tt said BB is on TBF

Just do as per yr mother's instinct direct you. But dun feel paiseh to ask for help ya. Enjjoy yr stay in e hospital.. be sure to ask for their confinement diet ya.. I find e soup v yummy</font>

I bought from shops in neighbour town centers. One side only $1, so both sides, $2 only. Same quality as the ones I bought from Spring Maternity which cost $5.90 for both sides.

This shifu I go to will ask a few questions like any character to avoid &amp; yr family members' name den he will give u 5 names w meaning within 3 days time.

But if u gng to cal based on BB's 八字 den obviously hv to wait till BB is born den can do lor. Think he charges S$120 for calculation w 八字 </font></font>

I heard from the salesman that S705 is replaced with S707 so S705 will not longer be in stock once all sold. I know Kiddy Palace TPY has but don't know if they still have stock as I didn't check after I bought my Combi.

The 6th class at SCGS on Tuesday 14th July.

I think we'll all be clustered on the same day. But it's gonna be hard for me to know who is who since I've never met any of you mommies. >.<

My TMC experience was exactly the same to yours as well! I found my stay there quite enjoyable and supportive. The staff all very nice and helpful. And even though I had C-sec side effects (pain/dizziness/nausea), the nurses INSIST for me to BF Joshua even though I tell them I'm damn tired. They would say things like: "You want TBF, then you must wake up and feed baby every 3 hours. Come come, I'll help you hold the baby. Or you want to feed lying on your side?"

The only thing I didn't like was how I would get hungry in the middle of the night, and there's nothing to eat! They only give me small cup of milo, which is so not enough. This time round I will pack snacks like biscuits &amp; cereal bars into my hospital bag!

Yay! No more tacky neon green diaper bag! My hubs threw that away faster than you could say "ugly".

If you realise, blubberish mentioned a few times in her story that she "didn't know any better" and therefore she never persist about nurse bringing baby to her, and she was groggy and agreed for her bb to be fed glucose water. What I feel is that she is trying to push blame to TMC nurses for her inability to BF successfully. And my only question is: Where was her DH during all this?! How come he didn't help her in bringing bb over to ward to BF? How come he never tell nurse not to give glucose water?

If ANY mom would like to BF properly, then she has GOT to KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING and agreeing to. This blubberish didn't ask questions when bb was taken away, she agreed for bb to be given glucose water, then now she complain?! In any case, I didn't latch #1 on until <u>4 hours after his birth</u>. Because I C-sec and unable to latch him on immediately as I must be sewn up mah. You don't see me have BF issue say cannot latch on or anything. This mom is like finding excuses to justify herself lor. Then nurse ask her she want nipple shield or not, she say "didn't know what that was". Really very...

Same as jenifur, my TMC experience was NOTHING like blubberish's. So I truly believe blubberish had made some silly mistakes somewhere.

If you want CHOP GUARANTEE TBF BB, then you should have told your gynae during your checkups, and not only after you admit to delivery. My emergency admission form already written BIG BIG there: TBF ONLY. So as and when I go into labour and use that admission form, no way they will screw up my TBF preference lor. But even then, I will still be mindful to ask nurses to bring BB to me for BF. When I had #1, everytime nurse come into my room I will ask her: "Is it time for BF yet?" so that they get reminded that my bb is TBF.

Sorry that I feel very strongly towards blubberish's story. I just feel that she didn't know what she was doing, and her DH was not mentioned in the story at all, and now she want to blame TMC/Nurses for her BF failure. You cannot blame other ppl for your own ignorance/failure lor.

You're looking for Capella S705?? OG, BHG, Mothercare, KiddyPalace have it! I bought mine from Mothercare.... sometimes if a certain outlet tells you it's out of stock, you can ask them to check if other outlets have it or not, then see whether you want to collect it from that store itself or get them to transfer... i'm sure Mothercare will do it because that's what they did for me when i wanted to get something from there but OOS so they transfer from another place. :)

I remember you said you didn't collect any so i help you pack all into one... i only never take the diapers so i take Pampers to try though i already bought some Huggies. Hahaha. Tuesday's talk, i not sure if i can go anot liao le... sian... cos my hb might not be able to reach on time due to work... maybe i go alone or just skip it too... sob sob... but i really hope i can attend loh.... it wasnt exactly painful....
but...... tightening of my tummy.. a very sng kind of feeling.....

How many weeks are you now? If want to be totally honest, yes, bb still can turn back the wrong way again, but as he/she grows bigger, there will be less and less space to turn all the way around, even if they do move alot.

That's why my gynae told #2 to "be good and stay where you are! Don't turn anymore!"

If you believe in talking to your bb, then it'll be good to talk to your tummy and tell bb not to turn anymore once he/she is head down.

But even if bb does turn back up, there is always a good chance that bb can turn back head down again before EDD. Don't worry too much, because remember, BB knows what you are thinking/feeling! Just concentrate on the thought that "my bb will be head down when it is time". It should help.

When i talk to baby, i always say same thing, be good, be strong, be healthy. Hahaha.. mummy daddy loves you. But i dont talk to him so often cos somehow i feel a little funny. LOL! hahahaa...

Yah, I know what you mean! When I had #1, sometimes I feel like I'm talking to thin air! Feels a bit weird lah, especially when #1 don't move a lot at all, and I don't feel pregnant except for my big big belly. At least with #2, he moves a lot, so I know he is really inside and he gives me reason to tell him to "don't move" or "please turn around", etc etc.

Hahaha... really leh... people might think i siao if i talk in public to "myself" so usually i talk to him in the room... hahahahaaa.... at times i can feel him moving so much until he's like playing all sorts of games inside... LOL! Actually somehow i hope i can really deliver around wk37 cos i really very uncomfortable with big tummy.. many times almost trip and fall... duh!

Unfortunately, I don't think we can dictate when the bb will come. But we can certainly hope! With #1 I also only talk to him at home, so ppl don't think I am siao. Now with #2 sometimes I will tell him to stop poking me, then I notice other ppl looking at me like I am crazy!! But I don't care lah, better to look crazy than to have bb poke me with his leg and make me pain.

Has anyone bought the fitted crib sheet from babymall? Is the sheet size of 28 inch * 52 inch for standard size mattress? My mattress is only 22*42 inch.

regarding breastfeeding experience @ TMC - i agree with what shelled said.

i think most impt is to prepare ourselves with the knowledge (and if need be, the equipment!) on breastfeeding b4 u are admitted, and have a clear idea of what u want to do and also ensure tt u hv support of ur family.

if u are well-prepared and confident tt u can do it (as compared to being clueless abt it), then half the battle is won. of course, oso need to be determined to press on lor, no matter how tough it is...

these are just my ideals abt it cos i oso hv no experience on TBF but i am determined to do all i can to make it a success. btw, will oso be giving birth at TMC.

me and hb might also have to rush down after work lor, sometimes hb leaves only at 7pm leh.. i already tell him die die he have to leave at 6pm sharp on tues. keke... don't think i'll have time for dinner also. think i'll just grab mac on the way.
