maybe the 1st day we will be still wearing the hosp gown.. then when visitors come then can changed into ur comfy pyjamas?
not sure how la..
but rach says we will be too tired to walk ard much aft the hard work during delivery =) maybe too tired to change too...

Yea, we'll be tired esp on the first day aft all the pushing n we wont walk that much.. but its gonna be difficult for us to breastfeed right? normally its a 3 days 2 nights stay at the hospital? so even if first day dun change into our own pj, 2 pj's are not enuf if we keep staining them the next day also ma..

how's everyone? Doing fine? Been busy lately with my house etc.... time really flies.. only left abt 2.5months.. and i haven prepared anything yet... gosh...

talking abt disposable panties... just realise for this pregnancy i cannot fit into those panties that kiddy palace sells.. anyone knows where to find big size disposable panties? haiz.. shang nao jin!
 
assuming u have normal uncomplicated delivery, im sure u will be too excited to rest and wont even feel tired even though physically u r v tired! heh...

maybe when sitting down on bed, dun sit on the gown, lift the bottom part of gown up and sit direct on the underpad? then cover up with the hosp blanket so not visible to visitors???

the disposable panties, those in cotton.. if u find it still clean, it stil can be washed and reused if u want to.. maybe up to more than 3 times, before u throw them away.

haha yeah you are rite... my dad oso commented that i look so happy and full of energy after giving birth. not like my mum, etc whom give birth and looks tired n moody. *faintz*

hospital will give something to place it on bed. What i do is, i lift up the gown and my butt will sit on that blue sheet (Ahz.. dunno whats that call)

Cotton disp a bit more exp than paper disp. But u can wash a couple of times & reuse b4 u throw away, so end up being same cost & much more comfy. Can get from Watsons or Guardian. Think both same price at $3.95 for 5 pcs. Looks like from same factory one, colour & texture like sama sama haha.

Aiyah I KS mah. I saw this lady bot 6 packs of the maternity pads, so I tot I shd follow & buy 4 packs (I already cut down a bit). Serves me right for being a copycat lah haha. Luckily I managed to get at $6 per pack.

U sure u wanna use cloth nappies? The poo for the first few weeks is very very freq & very very gross, esp for breastfed BBs. I toyed with the idea of using bumwear initially then I gave up the idea after seeing how bad the poo can be haha.

u can get the disposable mat fr pharmacy (whichever hospital u are staying). can go get before u are discharged. like wat sandwich has said, the correct name shld be incontinence sheets bah...actually like wat the name has suggest, it's meant for pple with incontinence prob bt of course use the brain a bit, we can always use it in other ways. like the hospital use it in maternity wards for minimising staining AND i use it in my own way for bb. scared bb's poo poo will dirty the bedsheets since they poo so often and i normally change bb's diaper on bed...

U can get all ur confinement needs there...tonics, herbs for bathing, dried goods like longan, all kind of dates etc.
juz ordered when delivered and get some1 to pick them up...it's a few hundreds though...

same here, me on epidural de, bt once the numbness goes off, i'll be around walking. the 1st thing i'll do is to go to the nursey to bring my bb to the my ward, haha...so i can haf a close look and try to rem the face...all bb look same to me. muz take some time to recognise own bb. usually lookout for the doggie tag 1st to make sure it's mine 1st b4 bringing bb away....

You will deliver at KKH - TPS patient??? Are you opting for the 1 bedded?? Did they mention how much deposit you have to place if for the normal delivery??

Too small also must c-sec??????????? But your gynae mention your baby is small??????

One of my friend delivered at KKH via normal delivery ah, she told me normal delivery only 2d1n............ -.-" i am so confused... of the rates... because on my brouchure for ESH, it stated 2 DAYS but the person told me 2 NIGHTS... wah lau... i also no idea... kns loh!

The cheese dip is quite good. I ordered b4. There was a lot & I used it for dipping fries, spreading on chkn meat etc haha.

hahahahaha...me luvs to use brain and invent my own ways of simplifying things and jobs to be done in order to make my life easier...me gt no maid mah, don't wanna live life so hard...

other than that, i enjoy acting 'brainless', hahaha...

pple usually prefers pple who doesn't use a lot of brain, lesser xin1ji1 and easier to get along...no use brain oso gt its gd pts u know...HEEZZ

I Jus got back from kiddy palacce..jus to get the disposal panty..i remember i tried the polka dots during my #1..cant fit in. So brought the plain with colored waist & leg bands_1 pack 5pcs_usual price $6.90 now offer $4.90
Pray that i can fit in...Heehee

I had a strange one last nite. I dremed that I delivered my boy. Everything was fine, we went home, settled in, things got along peachy for a few days, then I realised I FORGOT to BF him! It was already almost 1 week after delivery, so that means I missed the priod for milk ss, which means I had no more m,ilk EVER to feed him! I was crying & crying in my dream for being so stupid! Weird huh???

princess .. hehe tt was for my gal last time.. i went for normal but in e end gal couldnt come out and got to go for emergency c-sec lo... so nw my current gyane suggest to go for plan c-sec instead.. cos last time my gal onli 2.8kg by right shld b easy to come out but i still need go emergency c-sec..

i not delivering at KKH ley.. i delivering at glen E, will get 2 bedder.. one bedder too luxury ley.. dun bear to spend e $$... need to save for bb's diapers $ hehe

Haha I also have probs finding disp panties. B/c I have big butt & hips! Pre=preg already wear L size panties. So those Free Size ones which are norm M size.. cannot fit in! haha

I am comforted by the fact that the experts all say it's normal to have strange vivid dreams haha. Else I might think I'm gog bonkers.

What's gd is that I've not dreamed abt HB leaving me. Think all my dreams are linked to anxiety abt being able to care for a baby & not being adeqwuately prepared etc.

I mean, can wash if u want. Reason I bot the cotton disp is b/c my norm panties will be too tight for just after delivery. And I got confinement lady - dun want her to spoil my $10+/$20 panties & she can help to wash the disp ones.

Hang in there! Think of the maternity benefits!

I do lor. My hips measured 90cm PRE-PREG! I'm just "blessed" with broad shoulders so they help to balance me out. And I am very very picky abt my clothes fit, to make sure I aws get flattering cuts hehe.
