how to avoid squatting? i gotta bath my #1, or is there any way i can bath her without squatting?

Not cheap! That means practically $60 per pc. Issit maternity bra or nursing bra? Actually I dun even know that there's such thing as maternoty bra.

I'm thinking to buy these Pierre Cardin bras at 2 for $28. Very cheap hor? Even if outgrow, I wun feel so heartpain haha.
 
talking about bras. ya...whats the diff between maternity bra and nursing bra? can someone enlighten me?

my bras are beginning to feel tight and uncomfortable. i'm wondering if i should go buy some bras without 'underwire'.

I asked my gynae whether underwired bras are harmful, bcoz someone told me that they restrict the milk duct development, will get what lumps etc etc. She said no leh, it's only impt to have no restriction when breastfeeding. So.. I guess no need to purposely wear non-wired bra.

I find wired bras give better support. I just bot 1 cup size bigger.

Oh u can also buy the bra extension to lengthen the underside of the bra, so that it isn't so tight. I'm using them now, & they are so much more comfortable. I shd have bot them weeks ago!

bra extension? there's such a thingy? i never heard or seen that before. where to buy from? the bra sections in metro or isetan have it?

Ya should be the pelvic bone. Mine is the back area only. Have you ask yr gynae how come is like that ? Wonder when the pain will stop..

The lingerie depts shd have. They are normally hanged or arranged on a tray at the cashier in the lingerie section. They look like the back strap of ur bra, with the metal hooks on a short section of the cloth.

What u do is to hook one side of the extension to ur left side of the bra, then hook the right side of ur bra to the other side of the extension. Very cheap.. like $2.90 for 2?

When we r preggie, the joints loosen to prepare for expansion. So we may get backache when the joints at the lower back also loosen. It is supposed to be normal, but it affects diff pple to diff extent lor.

It seems to be on & off one. Does it feel like a nagging pain? Not acute pain, but those "sour sour" feeling?

yes dun lose heart. good to seek second opinion. ur blood test is to test hcg levels? we will all be rooting for u.

haha... i also hoping to grow somemore. after many breastfeeding episodes, mine has become quite pathetic!

if ur preg is normal, no spotting, can squat lah. when tummy bigger v difficult to squat, cant even cut my own toe nails haha... and worst, each time i squat i so worried baby drop out!!

Come to think abt it. How do we cut our toenails when the tummy is v big?

I'm so sorry, I can understand what u're gog thru. I also cried for a while when I ran into trouble. Pls be strong & try to sty positive. U wanna send good vibes to BB right?

U can see my gynae in my post above. But I dun think my gynae is super duper experienced. I heard of WK Tan, who is supposedly v experienced and she was my aunt's gynae. She is also at TMC> Maybe u can give her a try.

Don't worry too much... try to stay relax.. it really can help. I just experience it myself.. when i very stress, my hcg level is low in numbers.. then when i try to stay relax for that few days before my 2nd blood test, my reading gots better.. so relax k... Wht's ur hcg blood test reading today??

blood test is done because we can't do any scan yet since is too early... and yet... we want to know that we are progressing well before we can do any scan... as we will tend to be more kan cheong so my doctor suggest to me to do blood test or wait until my scan.. but I am worry so i choose to do the blood test.. but end up.. i worry more as doctor say my hcg level is not double in 2 days time...it is not so ideal or it can mean baby growing slower than he expect... he is glad to know that the level is going up though.so he push my scan to even later time that is instead of scan at ww6, I will go for my scan only at wk7 plus....that's why i ever check with u gals here whether got experience the same as me... do few blood test before scan and the hcg level is not double but still consider ok as long as level going up?? seems like no one have experience this as no news at all..

I din go to the gynae till week 6. And by then can see heartbeat liao. So I din go thru blood test for hcg level.

But the last time I had a m/c, I did blood test on Fri, then again On Mon, & the level dropped by more than half. So it wasn't successful that time.

Yeah my hubby also v helpless looking at me cry. He just kept encourgaing me to be positive, that the BB can feel my negative vibes etc.. Then bcoz we're Christians, we prayed together. That helped me to calm down when I get too emotional.

Maybe u can try my gynea.. he is definitely a very careful doctor for 1st trimister...my doctor is LC foong from Gleaneagles too.. a very nice and caring doctor... u will feel very comfortable with him...

Ya.. I got backpain after I was test bfp too...it will pain if I stand for too long or if I bend my back down to pick up things... just a sharp pain then if stand straight back.. u will be fine... will feel so much comfortable to rest with a pillow below my back.. u can try...btw, when is ur edd?

Someone told me that the pedicure tools dunno whether safe or not, coz they are shared amongst many customers? Will kena fungal infection or not? I seldom go pedicure, but I like the results very much.

my gnae is dr goh YC. he is supposed to be very experienced.

yes jul recommended wk tan also very experienced.

so you've already seen 2 gynaes? does their diagnostic differ?

my gynae is dr chan kong hon. he is one of the few gynaes with v high end u/s machines. i dunno if that will help interprete things better? he is an experienced gynae. i also heard WK Tan is v good.

My gynae is Dr Lawrence Ang. He delivered my first baby via c-sect at TMC. Not sure if I could deliver normally this round but I really hope to.

you're very cute! but seriously speaking..i think i also can't afford to shrink much more. i always thought the boobs get bigger after giving birth and breastfeeding. now i'm so disappointed! :p ahaha

2nd doc i see is dr tham also for the 1st time...
cant comment on the diagonsis...

I guess I sort of am prepared that they will sag, but I dinno they will shrink too.

I wonder if we express & not feed directly, can reduce sagging?

Maybe can just trim the nails, trim the cuticle, make the nails look clean & healthy & skip the polish?

yeah... i heard that its bad esp during 1st trimester. i think after that should be ok.

thats why for CNY, i didn't even wash off my current nail colouring. all peeling off and i go bai nian like that. keke.. dun care lah! better be safer then sorry.
 
eh ladies, please dun use me as bad example and get discouraged haha... not everybody is like me ok. i just happen to be the few who are left with 2 pathetic boobs!
 
i am urs : yes, please stay positive ya.. last week i had spotting too and I was very worried as well.. but i kept telling myself that I've to be strong and my bb will be strong as well.. luckily my spotting totally stopped yesterday ( actually its quite long la.. )

my next appointment is next monday.. but now I am still experiencing horrible MS.. so I feel that bb shld be fine..

Be strong ya.. all will be fine..

I don't experience sharp pain. I still don't know my edd. There some website that will cal the date. Don't know whether accurate anot. Its end of september. I'm visiting my gynae 11th of feb at wk 6 5 day. Hopefully will be able to see heartbeat. So far, only did once blood test.

i always do partial express and direct feed for all my babies, so thats my result haha.. either way u breastfeed, i got frds who sag and frds who dun sag that much. so i guess its individual?

haha.. i can imagine ur chipped nail polish. but no choice hor, our preg more impt. yah i think i will put polish only in 2nd trimester.

Aiyah.. if mine will shirnk & sag, they will shrink & sag. Doesn't matter if we tell ourselves white lies. If that works, I wud have been a B cup since teens hahaha.

Can I just ask when did ur spotting start, & how long a duration to Mon's appt? Mine started on last last Sun, & gynae gave me the next appt for 2 weeks later. Just wondering if that's a norm.

For me, it's the opposite. Sleeping on my side gives me backache. Sleeping on my back cures it. Weird hor?

xpu : Can i asked if you opt for C-sec? If not why did Dr Ang makes you go thr C-sec? And he says its possible to go for natural delivery after c-sec for the 1st birth?

babylet: mine started last thu.. all the way to 2nd day of CNY..the 1st two days was quite alot.. I did not go to my gynae during this period.. so my 1st check up with my gynae was on 20th Jan.. supposed to go back on 30th Jan but I cant so I make it on 2 Feb instead

Just try to keep movement and walking to the very very bare minimum till your spotting stops.. but if it really continue and is quite heavy.. maybe its gd to consult ur gynae again..

Me also went for CNY with hair half black, half dyed. Worse.. bcoz of my hse arrest, I din even get my hair trimmed! And too tired to even do my nails *hiaz*
