but i think infant care made him independent, which in a way is good for me. now in de morning if he wakes up before me, he will entertain himself in bed for more den a hr before screaming for me to carry him =x n at nite, he can lie in bed himself till he doze off

Oh i didn't know only EA then got service yard leh. Heee... i quite like my unit cos very easy to put things but it's quite small....

Ytd i went down to pick my niece from school and bought lunch (about 30mins), my mum called me to tell me my boy is crying like mad!!! And when i was bathing.. not even 15mins, i heard him crying too. I think when i go to work, i will cry also..... i know have to be strong if i am determine to go to work and leave him with my mum... no choice and let him cry and after some time he will get used to it.... but heartpain lah.... usually i don't let him cry for long time and i respond to him within a min if i am awake....

Or should I wait till stop bf. I suspect it might affect the supply as last time I wore back, supply drop dramastically till only 1x per day by 6 mth.

For my elder children, I started w just letting them play on sand, slowly moving closer &amp; closer to the water. And we try to choose a day w low tide so the waves are nt too strong.

I personally prefer the beach too. My dad always said sea water are "cleaner" as compared to swimming pool. I've nv been to a pool till I started primary sch. My DH tinks otherwise bout the beach though. He thinks beach are just for sand play. For proper swimming, shld go to e pool.

No advice from me but just to share my experience... cos I'm clueless too! Hhaha
Ian has LOTS of fun during his bath time too so we assumed he'd love swimming. We brought him to Hua Xia and turned out he didn't like it at all.. cried when we put the float on him. Then cried when he was in the water. Only stopped for a little while when I was holding him. We brought him to the beach as well, was ok when we let him sit in the sand but cried when I dip his feet into the seawater... perhaps cos the water was pretty cold.
