I am not a new mommy.. have a (going) 2 yr old boy and think i should be about 8 week plus preggie now with 2nd one.
Due Date for this 2nd bb is on/about Sept 2nd..

Maybe u shd eat some tonic these few days. How abt make some chicken essence? Buy kampong chicken, then cut into 3portion, prepare a claypot and put 1 inverted bowl inside so that u can put one portion on top the inverted bowl. Prepare a big pot with water inside,put ur craypot into the boil water then use small fire boil for 3hr. The chicken juice will drip into the claypot 4 u to drink after that. Drink it hot.. If u find it toø oily, remove chicken skin b4 cook. It is a small bowl after boil jus 4 u only. The chicken essence is very bu.. U can drink alternate day but drink more water after that if u find heaty. I am oso drinking alternate day.. Not heaty 4 me.. Kampong chicken will be gd fr wet market..
Whts ur hcg level today? Hope drink some tonic can help ur body.. K.. Take care n rest well.. K..dont think too much..

Agree with wht u say abt stretchmark.. Depend on individual.. So is gd that u do something to try prevent it as u wont know.. Maybe applying it can still help abit if u r born with having stretch mark easily..

hi i m urs (darling_princess_wife), wat does it mean by a missed abortion? mayb u can oso try drinking some bird's nest? heard fr my preg colleagues tat 1st 3 mths cant really "bu" yet as e tonics might be too strong.. so mayb u can take bird nest in e meantime?

milkyway (milkyway18): i have e same prob too! sumtimes my appetite is good.. sometimes i juz drink 2 glasses of enfamama milk only for e whole day.. i guess u shld really try to eat sth at least.. i feel more energised aft eating sth.. else, have fruits/fruit juice, milk/soy milk?

for bloated-ness, i read somewhere tat drinking soft drinks helps..! coz it helps u to burp n force out e wind in ur tummy.. so u can feel less bloated.. havent tried thou..
 
hi Cho, can we drink soft drinks? i was told by my mum to afford cold drinks. I think if want to drink soft drinks also have to avoid coke cos there's caffeine. btw i managed to swallow some bread with the help of warm water.

Wat's hcg?

Chicken essence is not so bu as some tonic lah.. I hv been drinking.. That time my hcg level not so gd,then my mum make the chicken essence consecutively for that 2 days and my level improve quite abit.. So i am urs, dont worry to take some essence.hope will help u..

no prob! i had c-section for my first bb.
her c-section stitches are ok.. but because i moved around too much during my confinement, which resulted in 'overhealing' on my wounds..
(i.e walk around too much, carry bb too much,..) so now i learnt my lesson.. will rest more for my 2nd one ;)

Materna is pink tablet: multi-vits. And I had to ask the doc to prescribe multi-vits! He even discouraged me from taking, saying the tablet he's giving me is too big and since I'm also vomitting, I might not be able to stomach it.

The doc I went to said folic acid and DHA are good only pre-conception. I seriously think it's a load of crap. I remember taking folic acid throughout my first pregnancy. Right now, I'm taking my own DHA and folic acid. Can anyone whose been prescribed folic acid tell me the strength? Thanks!

I'll be seeing another doc recommended by my doc friend. I hope she's good. I really miss the doc I went to for my first pregnancy. She's great!

Oh.. U go thru c section too.. Then u r the person i want to find out more..Is her stiches gd for c section? Wht u mean by overhealing? Do u need go remove the stiches after c section or the stiches will goes off itself? Is her stiches done nicely? Sorry, is it convinent to asks u why u need to do c section? She use stiches or stapler? Sorry to asks so many questions.. I am jus worried. all this questions can fix my decision whether to hv her as my gynea..

if gynae suspect u had missed abortion why wait till friday to see him? u should go and see him asap if not why dun u go to other gynae and ask for second opinion.

coz now there is no actual ans... coz scan cannot c baby, but hcg went up...
my new gynae didnt want to take the risk. wait n c did the baby grow... if by fri cannot c baby, then confirm already...

Yes you are right got to minus one week, so we are in the same week. My last menses is 12 Dec, so conincidence. BB is about 4mm big and gynae said its ok, heartbeat also normal

My MS starts exactly on wk 6 on Friday before seeing the gynae. I got bad headaches all day long and vomit every morning too. Can we use mediated oil, is it harmful?

Milky : how you manage to take Enfamama. I tried these few days and I need to FORCE myself to drink it, I dont really like the taste. I puke everytime I took it. Even with corn flakes also cannot help. I think I will give up drinking the milk powder and alternate to other milk.

To all mummies - what milk do you take, can recommend ?

Just updating here. My gyn found a polyn in my cervix on my first gyn visit. He say i can still have sex as normal.

Scary thing was, i started bleeding bright red blood yesterday after the deed, have to wear normal pad to absord.
Called gyn , said if bleeding don't stop in 2hrs got to see him.

Now not staining pad, but got slight spotting when wiped. Very headache not sure should i go see gyn or not. DH say if 2nite still bleeding will bring me go see gyn.

This 2nd preg not easy not like the first one. Well, i will update again.

All along hv been drinking ammum througout my 1st pregnancy.. Now oso drinking ammum. Nice! As i love milk.. Then i try enfamama vinlla favour today as my gynea give me sample.. I want to puke as it is so sweet! Thought will be nice as my boy is drinking enfa brand milk. He loves this brand milk alot since bady.. Didnt know why its vinlla favour so yucks.. I try their chocolate favour also.. Taste better.. I prefer milk as chocolate is heaty and i dont want baby to be dark color.. Keke.. So will prefer ammum.. U can try that. Yes, u can use medicated oil. I dont hv vomit in the morning but cant eat too full.. Will feel like puking.. Am looking 4ward to my scan. Btw, in ur last scan, u did thru stomach or v scan？

I just had my first appt with my Gynea on Fri... Did a V Scan and saw my baby for the first time! he was 17.3mm... My gynea say normal size for 8 weeks... we heard the heartbeat also... My husband was thrilled with the heartbeat thingy... haha...

Anyway been feeling so nausea & no appetite also... and having UTI last week...

Went to see her on 2nd day of cny cos got blood. will be seeing her again on this coming tues for another jab. she haven't told me about the package and price. waiting time usually quite long. wat time is ur apptmt on 10 feb? next time we can arrange same time, can accompany each other and wait. hee

Hi babiesmeme, i dont like milk powder so dont think i will try any. I'm now drinking Marigold Fresh milk. i think it's the same. Not so sure. But then it's refrigerated and my mum told me not to drink too much... dont know wat's the alternative other than milk powder which i don't think i will try at all.

anyway to prevent vomitting, we have to eat small meals more frequently so our stomach won't feel empty. I read this from the book "What to Expect". hope it helps all mtbs who have MS.

i dun take powdered milk too, gynae said not to and i cant take the taste anyway, will end up puking. i take more soy milk now than cow's milk cos cow's milk make me nauseous too. i usually take the milk from fridge and leave it a while before drinking so wont be that cold. but ang mohs preg ladies take their milk cold too u know?

hey i wish i will lose some weight too! haha... been eating non stop cos get hungry all the time. have u been hvg bad ms? no worries, its quite normal u will catch up on weight gain in second trimester.

u gals seeing ur gynaes soon hor, so nice. my next appt is 4 weeks from my last appt which will be on 17 feb. so long!!!

joanne, i hasn't really gone into search for the cream yet, but since u mention Compass Pt have it, i might drop by one of these day... did i saw u saying it is green packaging ??

wifey, ur theory of getting ur hubby to apply cream for u, followed by a leg massage sounds so nice, but i am not sure if that works for my hubby. guess his games and tv are more interesting than me sometimes.. hahaha.... anyway, must admit and say my hubby have been extra sweet since he found out abt my pregnancy, more attention, more care, immediate response when i delegate household chores to him.. hahaha..

i'm new in this thread. Now already 6week 2days pregnant. Went for gynac check up ytd and gynac told me that the gestational sac is only 0.84cm like 3 1/2 week pregnant.
So I was given a jab and also utrogestan pill and folate pill to take...to see him 1 week later.

Would like to check does anyone has the same experience as me bb sac was too small at week 6.

Can let me know abt ur bb sac size at week 6 to compare?

my prescription for folic by my gynae is 5mg twice a day. i was told by my gynae not to take multi-vits and dha in 1st trimester, just the folic acid will do. but i think some gynaes may say multi-vits are ok, i'm not too sure. maybe different school of thoughts.

for powder milk, i'm taking the Anmum brand. I also have in my fridge sobe soy milk, and magnolia fresh milk and magnolia choc milk. so i juz drink whatever i feel like each day. i can't down anmum everyday. i find it too sweet.

enfamam milk is very sweet? ok, than i'm not gonna try it. was thinking of trying another brand after i finish my 1st tin of anmum. hehe... i really find anmum very sweet already, can't imagine something even sweeter!

did your gynae mention what the size is suppose to be at 6wks? mine at 6wks about 1.01cm.

nope, i think the size given to me is the overall size, the sac size. at wk6 there is only an embryo, so i don't think he can measure the size of bb yet?

hi! actually mine was only 0.71cm at 6wks 4 days and can detect heartbeat. so how can urs be 0.84cm and only the size of 3.5 weeks? i thought all measurements should be standard right
 
I've been taking anmum. It's not too bad. But it's the only milk I've tried, so there's no basis for comparison.

My MS seems to be getting worse by the day. Anyone experiencing something like that?

I am starting to have MS too... just now in the car, i was trying to "vomit" out but i think i used too much force and overexerted my tummy's muscles. Now my stomach area feel a bit sore... don't dare to try to vomit out anymore in case i induce tummy cramps / spotting. Feel so miserable too.

Today 1st day at work after cny, very sianz.. Infact jus an hr, already feel very tired especially got back ache.. Not sure how can i sit to feel more comfortable.. Stupid chair design.. Sigh.. Got another 7hr to go b4 i can go back hm and rest.. Not sure why.. Jus 7wk only..

oh. actually i didn't ask specifically. but i'm assuming that he is referring to the overal sac size and everything. because i assume docs refer to foetus only after wk 9. :p i think on my next visit i will ask properly what the size actually means, if it includes the sac or not, so that i can be sure also.

i think u still quite early leh cos my LMP is 19 nov and im only 8wk plus nw. of course this time round since my cycle has been so erractic whole year round, i also got confused mysef. but from scan i should be 9 wks this thurs
