very descriptive explanation! i dun even know as detailed as u! oh yes, this preg gynae said the egg is from my right ovary, same with my gal. as for the rest (boy preg) i dunno, cos i was with another gynae then and he didnt tell me.

any of u staying in the east? since the other time u gals mentioned abt the mee siam shop at PP. i always go there too!

hi all mtbs,
when you all mention no. of weeks, are you all counting the no. of weeks from the 1st day of the last menstual or the day you conceived? just wanted to know when i can hear the heartbeat, etc. Thanks.

thanks. but usually the gynae will say the no. of weeks from the 1st day of last menstrual rite? dat's wat they always ask when i see the gynae.

bryest, i tink we go to the same gynea. I should be into 6-7 wks, din really count since is my 2nd one. Made appoint wif WK Tan on 10 Feb, by then can know exactly how many wks, EDD, size heartbeat etc...

Been taking folic acid from Guardian and drinking HL milk. Only hubby knows of my preg, MIL might suspect cos I eating sour snack, smaller appetite, sleep more and less patient towards my 2 yr old. After seen gynea, then tell my family. So long hubby understand is enuf..

May i know how does ms feel? Jus now lunch eat too much.. Feel very full and 反胃. Feel want vomit until i eat some sour plum then burp then feel better. Is this how u gals feel when say got ms?

my apptmt with wktan is 21 feb, she say will only see me when it's 8 weeks. but i went to see her on 2nd day of cny cos got blood. she did a V scan and say still too small to see anything. is this ur 1st apptmt with her since u found out u r pregnant?
 
jul, 8wks already 2.38cm already quite big ley... i went Dr last sat, wk 9, my bb only 2.36cm.

Rach, i din make any official announcement, just told afew close frenz... shall may things official aft march if i can 'hide' well.. hahaha.... and i just got frenz calling and asking me for bowling game tml, just have to lie and get away with it... hahaha
 
Ladies with MS,
You may want to try this. My hubby made some ginger tea for me earlier. He added some lemon and honey. Tastes pretty good and my nausea feeling went off! I still feel very tired but at least the 'wanna puke' feeling is temporarily subdued.

Big meh? Actually hor, I think no need to worry abt size too much. As long as BB is growing bigger than the last visit, that's gd liao.

Anyway ur gynae said it's a gd size right? Coz BB growth rate differs, may speed up or slow down from time to time. Also, I think it's like normal BMI got range one. So BB size also got range mah, doesn't mean must aws be the same size right? Besides, when BB is so small, the measurement may also be off mah.

But looks like even the per visit is cheaper than Dr Chen... scan is $40..

My mum's remedy is Teh-O Kosong... so i had that at coffeeshop..and it was okay by the time i reach home...

I havent been taking tea for a few weeks liaoz.. but to cure the diarrhoea.. i just tried la.. and it works.. happy..

from what i understand.. jaundice is due to the bb's inability to process their own blood after birth... trying to convert their blood to adult blood... this excreting excessive... something... thats why get jaundice... nothing to do with ginger i think... i heard from my fren who's a JC teacher teaching Bio..and she's now expecting her #2 also...

Actually I think u shd take too. After all, how much ginger can u poss have absorbed from a few pcs in hot water right? Better than u puke &amp; puke &amp; feel so bad &amp; ur BB is affected hor?

Hmm.. actually no leh. After the scan, the no of weeks is based a bit like adjusted LMP? For eg, if LMP says 8 weeks, but bcoz our cycle usu longer, then may be adjusted to,say, 7 weeks lor. But still not based on conception date leh. It's conception date plus 2 weeks usu.

Anyway after measurement by u/s, the LMP is kinda ignored liao bcoz the no of weeks is based on mesurement.

i dunno how he sees from which ovary leh. but his machine is damn high tech and he v v proud of it! said he one of the few gynaes in sg who owns it!

oh ur gynae charges all seem v reasonable compared to mine! consultation - 100, ultrasound - 150! and he prescribe fish oil (mercury free) $50 per bottle which i find ok lah reasonable.

Wow! Impressive sia! Hmm.. my followup cons is $48, u/s also $48. First time is $60 each, I tot that's not cheap liao haha.

But hor, I kinda know that my left ovary is the one that popped the egg this time. I felt pain on the left side during the few days before I O-ed.

yah v exp hor, but his clinic always still v crowded haha... i think ppl dun care lah as long as he is good and im v comfortable with him.

oh if u feel pain then could be! cos dr chan said mine came from the right and i might feel pain on the right ffirst few weeks.

U know last 2 weeks, my left side seemed to be expaning more. But this week, my right side of the womb seems to be doing the stretching. Aiyoh no need stretch so much lah. My tummy already v big liao haha.

My mum says not to take too much ginger during confinement cos of breast feeding, not sure during pregnancy affected or not

Wah 2 maids.. R u working else expensive hor? U mention last time u gave birth at east shore and now at gleneagles.. Wah, hows ur hospital bill? Very big difference as in gleneagle shd be so much more expensive.. Rite? Both so far in distance.. If u stay at east,why u didnt go back to east shore but choose a hospital that is so far away fr ur home? Can advise why? As i am in a delimma whether to goto ur doctor at gleneagles since u say until his stiches soo gd.. My plan actually to goto tmc which is nearer to my hm and cheaper but not sure whether joycelyn or cheng li chang gd in stiching? Hows the waiting time for ur gynea? Is it very long too? Sorry to asks so many questions.. Keke..

im sahm, so many kids how to work hehe... im their chauffeur, tutor, and discipline mistress. i not at home my house turn upside down! maids exp but no choice leh else i go nuts or maid go nuts haha.. at least now both maids do housework and cook and i can concentrate on the kids.

yes the bill quite a lot of diff, maybe abt 1k diff? i dun usually check the bill so not too sure. but both hosp the nurses are v nice. no choice must go gleneagles cos dr chan only delivers there. why u so concern over stitching ah? haha... but must say his stitching is superb lah. waiting time also v long lah unless u r first patient!

fresh spotting stopped le... todae nv do scan...
didnt want to go to kkh 24 hr clinic, went directly to the normal clinic, ask for senior consultant since my own gynae not ard... so once the consultant hear i got fresh bleeding, and wed report not so gd, he suggested admission and keep me under observation...

i not sure... previous gynae was saying normal healthy, hcg level between 48 hrs sld go up by 60%... if doesnt go down, still gd news...

yes as long as doesnt go down its good. but i still think they should do something to help u boost the pregnancy. sorry i hope i dun sound offensive? just concern abt u since u didnt mention abt gynae giving u jab or pills to stabilise ur preg.

meanwhile, u keep ur spirits up ok. ur hubby so nice to u, he so cute. u cant sleep wo ur bolster? hehe...

i gg for cny hse visiting. keep us updated ok.
 
i hv been on hormone pill... no jab nothing...
feels better with something i m familiar with... my bolster is those precious moments long n flat bolster... haha... ok... i do sound super kiddish...

i m not really bed resting... the housemen/trainee docs here says i can move ard so long as no bleeding...
none of my gynae recommended bed rest... that's the last option they are giving me...
