gd morning : ) Hi rach, yes, I hardly come to the forum cos I've been very busy at work and getting tired quite fast these days cos its the 3rd trimester for me already. Thanks for all the feedback on the breastpumps. I had wanted to wait till after delivery to try out the pumps at the hospital but me and hb saw the ameda lactaline at robinsons yesterday and decided to buy it cos we did some research on it and apparently it is highly recommended by many people. I hope I put it to good use. it cost us $388! and that was their special price already. BTW, i am not well-endowed at all so i hope the funnels can do their job well...

i guess, for cutedevil, is not dismissal is kinda Retrenchment as dept closure. which mean, if she 3months b4 her confinement then she get compensation. if more the 3months b4 her confinement she cant get compensation.

if compensation companies also in win win situation cuz if u go on confinement leave they too pay u 4months ,whereas losing end is on us preggie working mummies. who lost a job.

I also can't sleep well. Sleep on the back will be breathless. Sleep on the side, will get backache & will compress my tummy so Babylet will kick. sigh...

To be honest, i dun really enjoy the kicking part. but is a sign of healthy baby.

HR just called, asking me to send them a copy of Dr's letter with EDD for verification
If the employee is retrenched within 3 months of her confinement, the employer must pay her the maternity benefits that she would otherwise be eligible for. This payment is in addition to any retrenchment benefit which the employee is entitled to.
(This means if the employee is terminate/retrench 3 mths before she starts her confinement (3mths pregnant), the employer has to compensate the 16weeks of the maternity leave.)

Inflexible timing and venue and just expect me to go all the way to pass to her...
And she still say to go to that MRT is already incovenient for her..coz she could have alighted 2 stops earlier to reach home..

I was like..wa lao!!! I dun earn u $50 leh... not even enough to cover my tpt la...

I had problem passing just one tube of BB cream to a woman previously.
Inflexible timing and venue and just expect me to go all the way to pass to her...
And she still say to go to that MRT is already incovenient for her..coz she could have alighted 2 stops earlier to reach home..
To meet me at MRT, She HAVE to take to interchange and take back home again...
I was like..wa lao!!! I dun earn u $50 leh... not even enough to cover my tpt la...
And i gave her option for delivery..she pay postage or worse to worse. just cancel the order.
I can always sell her bb cream to someone else..
but she still die die want to take from me!
Even when i offer full refund!
Cant take it man...ask for too much!!
Some are nice la..when they see me, know i'm pregnant..so apologetic that i go to MRT to meet them..
some people are just soooo... unappreciative.. hmph!!!
I dunno abt the spree $10k one.. never heard of....

Wah lau. Your case more jialat than mine! Last time I do meet-up to pass spreers their bulky items like bags and shoes, they were all timely and appreciative. Not like the one woman you describe lor! Why she like that one?!
If I recall correctly, the $10k one was spreeing for some branded bags or something, that's why can accumulate so much to "run away" with. Actually there are a few similar cases on various forums already.

ya. agree with jul too. call mom n ask wat they mean by 3mths. from there den u ask ur gynae n c if she can help u in any way. cos some company try to b funny, come out pattern n say deir 1mth = 28days. if u notice govt say 4mths maternity leave, it oso means 28days a mth.
