haha.., i rarely massage my hb too.. my hands WOULD really ache if i did, coz my hb is rather bak bak. even if i did massage him, i think he can't feel anything too. kekeke..

maternity clothes - me too, didn't buy any, simply because of the price and when i tried out some, i look really horrible in it. So i can only get big tops and wear with tights. I only bought nursing bras and they're really comfortable!!!

One day i have aches at lower back, then sleep halfway wake up, aches at upper back... i have been tossing so much on bed until my hb has been disturbed by me. i already minimised my movements but still he got to close his eyes and rub my back for me.... but after that i still cannot sleep... my little prince moves so much in the middle of night until no matter which direction i turn to, i cannot sleep. sobsob.

Very hard to make him or them to shut up loh. Keep saying i weakling and lousy. TMD! Then say until like they very smart! His wife eats many things that really cannot eat then he say is i too picky. Every time i see them, they always make fun of my little prince, saying all the nasty things. I so mad.. my hb also say not funny to them.. but they continue to say.... i just don't like it when people make fun of my kids. It's really not nice lah. so mad. And who knows his wife is also expecting a boy and last night the others make fun of his son too. But they continue to make fun of mine. All the childish people! UrgH!

He can even say i waste so much money buy expensive stroller. He say buy cheap ones can already plus he said he is not going to buy, he is waiting for people to give him. He hinting us loh. But i hack care, think we santa claus meh. All these people always like to take advantage os us.

Obimin - i hardly take leh. I trying my best to take as frequent as possible. i think after deliver also can take right? cos i saw on the box pre and postatal.....

calcium - till now i never take, but i do take milk and yogurt... sometimes cheese... :)

From young, i have difficulties in swallowing pills... usually when i sick, i go to family doctor and ask for syrup..... and my doctor would laugh at me... saying 3months old until now u still take syrup... no effect already lah...... hahahaa... that's why now i really find it so hard to swallow... the other time i almost finished the bottle of Obimin, i puke when i ate continously for 20 over days... so i kinda scare of puking.... so... i never eat loh..... ): but i trying my best to take now....

LOL! morning he also tell me to tell baby if he naughty don't let me sleep properly, come back he will scold him! LOL! damn funny lah! hahahahaa...... sometimes don't know what he does inside as though he trying to pull out all my intestines.... roar!

U can have a look at the list of docs that Ling norm do and scan thru whom ever stay near u or visit the docs at TMC. Then u can specific check with those mummies...
IT really feel bad... when the doc dun give proper advise...
Overall .. my gyane also wouldn't give me any MC for backache pain or wrist pain. All he would say is dun carry heavy things and becareful wor...
Mulitivite pills subjective to individaul doc.. some give some dun give some give specific on what u need....
But as for scanning if i ask for it my doc will sure give me as he will charge accordingly but if i never insist he will not do scanning de.. as to him no point in scanning bah!!!
He never give any MC except when i go in and say "BLEEDING" He even say dun cry over these pain as the birth pain would be even worst so tell me to brace myself and bear wif it unless things get complicated etc....

Since u really discomfort with her get a new one asap and start ur new routine....

can sense u v upset lor! i would be too. u can go TMC website and check their lists of docs right? if i not wrong jennifur's gynae is female and from TMC right? can ask her for advice. whats most impt is u must feel comfortable, after all u got another 3 more mths.

to have the clearer picture my incidents with her are :-

first incident :-
during my first 5months i was suffering from servere pregnancy sickness such as morning sickness, heart burn,dehyration til admitted hospital for drips &amp; etc, lisa chin show unconcern too..whenever i approach her for advise. one incident when i say if i encounter any suffering can i drop by her clinic or give her a call? her answer is “no point dropping by her clinic or call her, she say its pointless, best is to go straight to gleneagle a&amp;e ?!!!!!!
what kind of answer to a first time mum.... so depressing.... and she call herself specialist.

second incident:-
when i encounter pregancy backache problem with one week of tolerant of pains and one day when i decided to give lisa chin a call and wish to make a trip down to her clinic to let her check on me during my working time and get persmision from my boss &amp; hassle to rush down by taxi due to her tight schedule on that day according to her nurses. despite all these hassle and having to pay her extra for unschedule appt to see her. she simply see me lesser then a min after my 30mins waiting at the clinic and no advise or anything just refer me to another specialist for bones which i need pay again!!!!!

third incident:-
its during my detail scan and lisa told me they have this scan which able to burn into cd which cost sgd40. so i decided to pay the extra of sgd40. but dr lisa did not take the process of detail scan into the cd which i thought that was the deal to pay for sgd40.00, to my surprise she do the burning to cd after detail scan process?! which last lesser then five seconds, cant see anyting, just my baby head and baby facing down some more, that moment i felt cheated?!!!!! , i dunno what is the best words to describe.

forth incident:
i was suffering for numpness hands/wrist/shoulder pain which is also called as carpal tunnel syndrome during preganncy, again, when i call her clinic for advise the answer from her nurse, same pattern answer"its like tat one" no further advise?!!!!!

fifth incident:-
as i have a lot of interesting review about thomson medical 2d/3d/4d scan which burn into dvd package, and i wish to do it too and thomson medical require gynea referral letter. so i give a call to lisa clinic to check on referral letter, know what? the nurse say i have to go down to see the replacement doctor due to lisa is on vacation and pay for seeing that replacment doctor and get the refferal letter , she also added that their clinic too have such services. gosh in my heart due to my detail scan incident, do they think i will let lisa do again? moreover she always in the rush. unlike thomsom medical they have its special diagnois centre which not done by busy gynea.

last but not least, my antenatal package with lisa include multivite, but all these while she only give me iron pills, when i later found out that most mummies here get obimin or multivite from their gynea, i give a call to her clinic to check, know what they say their iron pills is so call multivite?!!!!

all in all i would say, they are simply money $$$ face.

til today im in my 29 week preggie, to the extend that my hubby &amp; myself have decided to forgo our package with lisa chin and start looking for another gynea again…

as im in my 3rd trimester, i cant imagine i have to put through with lisa chin and her team, with my upcoming suffering symptoms during my 3rd trimester.

it is very depressing &amp; disappointment to face all these as its our 1st pregnancy.

Can understand why u r disappointed &amp; uncomfortable with ur present gynae lah. Guess even tho u have booked hosp etc, it's better to change now rather than not be confident thru'out the rest of ur pregnancy &amp; delivery. Imagine how u r gog to trust ur doc when u r in pain huh?

But hor.. have to say that altho I have fish oil, multi-vit (mine is called pre-navit, not obimin), iron &amp; calcium from my gynae, all these are not incl in the package one.

My package is with Joycelyn Wong's partner, Caroling Khi. And it cost me $688+gst, only incl normal consultation, ultrasound scan, normal urine test. All the supplements I have to pay extra one. Just like for unscheduled consulation, alsop extra. It can come up to quite a bit. And Joycelyn Wong's package is slightly more expensive than Dr Khi's.

So if u're thinking to change b/c of cost factor, Dr Wong might not be the best choice b/c a lot of things are not included.

But then, there are some good comments abt her lah, her attitude, concern etc etc. vr heard of her being bochap like ur gynae. So if u dun mind the cost, u cud give her a try. U want the clinic no?

i think if i were u, facing with such great disappointment with own gynae i would also forego my package and look for another gynae. pregnancy is suppose to be a joyful affair not something dreadful, esp being a first time mom. think jennifur is busy dunno got time to log in not if u urgently lookg for her advice abt her gynae, u better sms her. i also heard some good reviews abt Dr Khi maybe u can consider her too?

i'm currently with dr joycelyn wong too. signed my package ard 12 weeks @ $738 b4 gst.

hubby and i are very comfortable with her and we find her to be quite patient and reassuring. i'd say she is someone who can understand what her patients want.

like what jul has said, unscheduled visits and supplements are also extra expenses for dr wong.

at this stage, i'm not sure if you shd still sign up any package with gynaes or pay per visit (unless they have some suitable package for mummies who are later in their pregnancy).

aiyoh i think no point wasting ur energy and anger over ur gynae. Dont know if it's too late to get another package from another gynae. But i'm using Joycelyn Wong too, same as Jenifur. U can call the no of ACJ clinic that Jul has posted and request that you would like to see her lor. But i must say u might have to wait almost 1-2months to see her for first visit. That's wat happen to me when i called to make my first appt during the 1st trim. Mayb since u are 3rd trim, might not have to wait so long? Dr wong is quite patient and i dont think she is like ur gynae lah. But i did not have 3D/4D scan, or even detailed scan in a CD leh. My detailed scan pics are so tiny. it's like 6 pics squeeze into an A4 size paper. haha. Just call ACJ clinic and make an appointment tmr lor. Dont angry le k.

me too! i signed my package at 12 wks think after GST close to 800 lor. Think package only includes urine test, normal consultation and u/s. Any extra will have to pay.

is not about $$ to pay la, my point is the way they towards me la.. i oso pay my calcium &amp; fish oil separately for the multivite its mentioned in her package is included la., i dun mind to pay the unschedule visit too,but see how she treat me when i reached there?

indeed, i duno how to trust her during my delivery, so scary too..

cant access ur link on the Csec in office just now. only manage to load it at home and i only watch for like 5secs and i closed it.. damn gross at the start to even finish it leh.. i doubt i will be watching it again!! now thinking abt the 5s only, i dont think i can slp tonite already! And i think i will die die also dont want to go under the knife lor... must talk to bb now and tell her mummy wants natural birth!!

i will keep calm la, cuz due to tis issue, its causes alot of unhappiness myself with my hubby... whenever we talk about gynea visit &amp; etc... very sad.

will give a call to ACJ first ting when i reached office, pray i get a good solution.....Praying hard now...

10more weeks to go to my EDD 28 Aug 09. Hee.....

hopefully its not too late, i will finished up my package with lisa and see Joyce wong concurrently but will be sure delivery by Joyce wong at TMC heeee...

U can give Dr. Wong a try. Call up her clinic &amp; fix an appt to see her. Dr. Wong's package is about $50 more ex then Dr. Khi. But it's not a must for u to sign on package with her since u r already in yr 3rd trim. Hv a chat w her &amp; do yr sums. She will not force u to take package.

I've shared previously how caring she is &amp; I can say Huishan &amp; milkway would definitely agree with me. They are seeing e same gynae too. Her only downside is the waiting time.

Call up her clinic 1st thing tomorrow morning &amp; ask for the earliest appt to see her. Tell them u dun mind waiting so just slot u in ASAP. Or if u hv bout half a day to spare, jus walk in &amp; request to see her.

Or alternative is I've an appt to see her on 26-June, 2pm. Tell e assistant to slot you in under my appt slot. I've tried it twice w my gf, so far they always allow. Quote my CNO : 3334. Her clinic no is 6353 2033

Maybe you can stress to TMC that you are heading towards your 3rd trimester and would appreciate if they can slot you in asap.

jul_04: hehe they can hear us talk to friends etc. So they can recognise our voices de. Don't feel silly yar? Maybe you be more pro-active lo, just grab his hands and place on your tummy when you feel bb kicking. Then watch his reaction! hoho you will never know what you'll get :p

penalty? Sorry lor, if the team is not professional enough, NO WAY are/should you be paying more. Some more they make you so distressed! Maybe there is some kind of a hotline for you to call if they demand for more. Not sure though.. -.-'

on the other hand i wish to use up the package i paid for her while seeing &amp; deliver by Dr Joycelyn Wong at TMC..

That day so suay, my left eye contacts dropped out coz the air was too dry at the hospital entrance then throughout the class, one eye was blurred so didn’t really noticed people. I was surprised to see so little people only. I was by myself as husband can’t make it. I left before the lady from cordlife finished her presentation. Did you sign up for the cordlife?

Flower4 – wow, u’re super pissed! Relax! The negative vibes are not good for the baby. Ur gynae is insensitive to your feelings, terrible. I guess she is immune to the complaints that we mothers to be have because she has been hearing it all the time but she shldnt respond the way she did to you. Actually, I know of someone who also was her patient but no complaints from her. Iron pills are definitely not the same as multi-vitamins pills.

Michelle – You’re also in the Saturday’s 4-6pm class as well? Maybe we can say hi to each other? =)

after so much previous incidents with her, i still signed package &amp; stay with her til now, how stupid am i right?

maybe i was suffering from pregnancy sickness til recently i manage to see some health improvement then can think properly;;
 
milkyway, i din signed the delivery package but she already help me to do the hospital booking.

i wish to see dr wong jus tat i wish to use up the package with lisa. cuz there some balance test/scan which included inside the antenatal package like 32week scan &amp; etc, but anyting beyond the package, i will definitey will not let her do it
 
flower4 - your level of tolerance is high! after 5 incidents, then you let it out! peifu! It's not too late to change gynae, better change now or never!

So you'll be seeing out your package with her and at the same time see Dr Joycelyn Wong? I thought the package is up till delivery date?
 
purpleclouds, u haven asleep ah, for me due to change of gynea, u why haven sleep :p.

for me i only pay the antenatal package not upto delivery one.. upto delivery one got to pay another round when i reach 32 week

oh my, i cant hardly wait for DR Joycelyn wong clinic to open, i did not sleep thru out the nite.... i will take urgent leave today. and try to persuade her nurse to allow me to go down today...

my gynae is female but only deliver at ESH(parkway grp of hospital)...
so think can't intro to u...

RE:pills...
iron pills with multi-vits are not real multi-vit like obimin...

i am also given iron pills with multi-vit and fish oil
but this is extras from my basic package which only include obimin and calcium pills

RE:3d/4d scan...
for my gynae...she dun do 3d/4d scan ....only those normal 2d scan within her clinic...
for 3d/4d scan we need to head down to ESH to do the scan...
3d/4d scan will be scheduled if u are doing the FA/detail scan @ ESH
(ESH staff will ask u if u wanna do the 3d/4d scan during the FA/detail scan and they will schedule u)

RE:unschedule visits...
for unschedule visit to my gynae also need to pay loh...
supplements issue on that day will be chargeable too...
so normally we wait to our appt then we get our supplements...

some MTBs find that my gynae also very non-responsive to ques...
so depend on individual oso...

hope u have cooled down after a nite. yah i tot that u will forego totally.. at least now ur hubby also support u not going back to the bad gynae... if u have grumbled last week then i can bring u along too.. cos i just had my appt last Fri. Oh were u asking abt PM? PM will be sent to your email add that was registered with the forum.

I think the clinic opens at 8.30am. 10 more mins to go... call early their line is always hot!
 
Morning! Dunno why I tot it was Fri when I woke up this am. Must be blur blur. Then I realised it's only Thu. What a let down hahaha.

Well, if u r not comf with ur current gynae, it's better to cut losses now. What's the point of continuing to go to her for check-ups? U will be monitored by Dr Wong for the rest of ur pregnancy mah, esp nearer the later stages when ur appts become 2x/mth, then 1x/wk. U still wanna waste time gog to ur current gynae meh?

Btw if u really cannot canel ur booking at GlenE, I believe Dr Wong can deliver at any hosp except those govt type like KKH. But have to pay extra a bit, like maybe $200?

Haha this Babylet not very cooperative one. hen we're settled down for the nite, he wil not kick. He will PURPOSELY wait for his father to sleep then he will start moving. Sigh..

All along I got rashes lah. And itchy tummy. Just not PUPPP so serious lor. U rem I was talking abt this lotion Topicreme that my gynae gives me to use? To keep the skin moisturised so that it's not so dry &amp; itchy. Sometimes while sleeping, unconsciously u will scratch one lor. Hiaz..

Yeah the GD test involves 2 BT &amp; 1 glucose drink.
 
Jul_04 - Oic, heng its not PUPPP. It is terrible!! really can cry one.

How come got 2 bloodtests? Can let me know about the procedure of the glucose test?

I heard there may be slightly diff procedure for some gynaes. But agar like this..

Fast from midnite the day before.. No food or drink - not even PLAIN WATER.

Go to clinic &amp; take blood when it opens (they will try to arrange for u to be there first thing in the am). This is used as control - see ur blood sugar level when u r totally "empty" inside.

Then drink glucose drink. I had a fizzy orange drink like Fanta Orange.. abt 330ml size? Try not to rush when drinking coz after fasting all nite, some pple tend to puke after taking the drink.

Then countdown 2h &amp; the clinic will take ur blood again. This is to see how the glucose has been absorbed by ur body. In the 2h, no food, no drink, no plain water.

my boys all abandoned me last nite, all went to cousin's house to sleep. all i was left with is one daughter. this morn called to ask if can stay another nite! grrr!! dunno to be happy or sad! house so quiet wo the 3 monster noises.

wah u slept so late. think u super motivated to see dr wong. hope u find her good too, cos as CLOUDME mentioned its v individual. but as long as 90% said she is good means she is good lah!

if u sayang the package that u have already paid (which i know we as woman will be more heartache with money :p) the other alternative is to just continue seeing her just for the sake of using up her package lor. no need ask her anything during visit since u r seeing dr wong concurrently thus u no need bear with her stupid attitude. but u gotta cancel the hosp booking cos dun think dr wong can deliver in glen e right? anyway all gynae package wont include delivery charges.

but the downside to this is, u will be exposing baby to twice the ultrasound scans if u see both gynaes concurrently. alternatively u can go see dr wong for first time, get a feel how comfortable u r with her then u ask her how to go abt doing it? maybe she will just monitor u for ur last mth or wat and deliver ur baby. i think best is talk to her first.
