My boy also not taking bottle. He will drink FM from straw if I'm not with him. I started by giving his cereals mixed with FM. I'm not so strict now about his food... sometimes I will mix a bit of milo, holicks or give choco milk, strawberry milk, etc... as long as he happy can already.

Can i check those of u who alr succeed in toilet train ur kiddo.. now i put my boi on the toilet bowl once in the morning once at nite n when i say nggg nggg he will try to gek but no out put wor.. how long it takes to see the result?

I thouught you mentioned before that you were trying to BF Ryan as long as possible bcoz of his eczema? Has his eczema cleared up?

it took abt twice for her to get her first dump. But even now, sometimes she just doesn't wanna poo. So I will just do everyday. Sometimes she still poos in her diaper if we didn't catch her in time.

It's much better now..he has tried egg yolk n egg white n no prob
Tried scallop in his porridge n no prob
But sometimes when weather gets hot, the eczema appears on his neck
Guess that's the best I can do...keep in under control

so far my boy travels with me... think my mum also fear that my boy will cry until the roof collaspe! so she decided to come and look after him in the day instead.

Now my boy wont start to cry when he wakes up in the night already. he will say "milk milk"... but of course if dont give then he will scream still.

Yeah there's no cure for eczema. I also have it & can just keep myself cool & clean... try not to eat too much seafood.. can't keep awy from eggs though coz I love them

sharon, tat could be heat rash not ezcema bah? some children prone to hv sensitive skin.

Piggy, i will let jovia sit on potty every mrng before we leave home to work/drop her at in-law hs since mths ago..she will poop most of the time.

If u really wan to toilet train kyler u can do it in the mrng before u send him to ur in-law hs..jz hv to spare 10mins to do tat after a while will become a routine.

hahah morning i dun even have 10mins to spare leh .. my HB will leave at 6+ leh.. n so far Kyler only willing to sit on the toilet bowl say 1-2min den he will ask to come down liao... tried lettin him hold his favourite toys n distract him dun work leh..

Ethan is also still on tbf, latch on only. He refuses bottle too even though i alternate since day 1. but at 3 mths, he realised tat a bottle is a bottle. he also refuses FM. only take it when i mix wif cereals. but the worst thing is now he also hates to eat cereals. sigh.... now i give him fresh milk (plain, chocolate, strawberry), milo and soy milk.

high 5! mine also the same. at night will ask for 'milk milk' but if i insist on not giving, he'll cry & scream till everyone wakes up.
 
Playgroup

Alright! I've narrowed down to Star Tots or Apple Tree at Toa Payoh. The rest are the atas & ridiculously expensive type, or childcare. Can't be only 2 right? Need to continue to search *sigh*

u mean like a favourite toy or pillow is it? ethan didn't have 1 when he was younger. but now when he wans to sleep, he'll look for his smelly bo bo (bolster). but if we're outside, he won't look for it.

Piggy, i guess for a start just get kyler used to the feeling and routine of sitting on a potty. Dun need to have results all the time. When he's sat there long enuf without struggling, praise him. When got results, praise even more.

he goin CC in March.. cos i check with the teacher they say to make it successful mus start a routine on our own also... cannot jus rely on them also..
 
btw does any of ur kiddo talk in their dream huh??? lately i catch Kyler talkin many times wor n he talk v loudly n clear summore.. keep sayin cat lol~~

hai.. my mum asked me to get the bb toilet seat cover tingy..till nw i still hvnt action!
the othe day, keona juz pee on my bed.. den both of them playing with it!! they still duno hw to tell..before or not evn aft the act! sigh~ *shake head*

mine was same, til i had to go overseas buz trip.i not around then 1st night cry cry cos can't latch..then next night he drink from bottle liao. prev also don't want bottle at all.
so manage to stop latch since end nov...but now he loves his FM milk, drink alot...but still wakes up for milk 2-3times a night la...hai.....but trying these few nights to give more feed 180ml, he stretch to 4-5h then wake up...hope tonight try again, maybe can wake up less frequent...wah u all still got so much bm ah...

sometimse can give pacifier, can stretch 1hr only lor.

no lar piggy... they r not trained at all.. juz smtimes if they poo near to pongpong or wipe body time.. den dun 'waste' another diaper lor..can air oso. is lucky baby good? nw i dun buy drypers..use fiti basic.. haiz..shld hv tried n chg'd long ago..can save some money!!
 
My friend enrol her son for schicida method classes and they told her, mothers who had ms, kids got higher iq. I think thats ridiculous.

hahahaha. So funny! That's hormonal changes and some mothers never get morning sickness. I think it's designed to let mothers with morning sickness feel better after the persistent vomiting. Hahahahah.

i already not so keen abt schicida..n it's watever method... then my fren who enrolled his son there said the other time (when i saw him beat the table when the son had a little bump into it..) dat hitting the table back is taught by schicida..n he added 'it worked'.. kaoz.. wat u mean it worked!?! n why did they teach such a ting? i mean.. it cant be the floor's fault when u fall down!?! it cant be the table's fault when u knock into it mah!?! hw can u teach such a ting to hit the 'object'?!? well well... n nw.. this MS linked with IQ tingy.. LOL~

i hv no idea.. i saw my fren did.. so i wanted to say not a good idea to do that..then he said schicida teach de! then i was like..kaoz...u paid money to attend schicida..n since they 'teach' u this method..then i hv nothing to say la..LOL~ so i quickly keep quiet!

i know in 'olden' days.. we owas do that..even last time my sister's time, i will go hit n say the floor naughty or smting like dat.

BUT nw..i tink this is not a right ting to do le lor.. n really was so surprised schicida will n still 'teach' that!

The stupid GP , just call me out to apologies for giving my boy "brufen" fever . I tell him off having rashes and eyebag red and swollen is so obvious you as a doctor you dont know it is drug allergy .

He say that time he see is normal , I say pls lor eye bag swollen is normal . he keep quiet

alamak they teach such a thing???? tt time when my niece fall becos she notti n when i saw my uncle go n hit the floor i alr find nt right instead of taking the opportunity to told my niece off tt wat happen when she dun listen n notti .. i find this is 1 of the thing the elderly does to spoilt the kid.. but really surprise the shicida teaches tt.. i thot they suppose to teach sumthing tt improves the memory??

Bukit panjang no pd. I bring my boy to kidzlink at cck. Always very packed. But diagnosis is good. Bb cannot go gp lah. I got my own experience also.

HITTING FLOOR

Sam's also hitting the floor, wall or whatever object that makes him fall. So irritating! Must be MIL who taught him! Then when he tries to hit us when he knocks uour shoulder, cheek etc with his head, we scold him. Hiaz how to teach when it's so inconsistent?

my dad occasionally does it too.. old school thinking.. i will just tell them not to teach her such things. she fall is her fault, not the floors fault.
