celine, ya i see the difference tat's why theirs is more pricey. of cos need to be under those down light can see the sparkle normal lighting cant see the diff.

if you want something that sparkle and won't see till sian, i mean nai kan, go for destinee. i have one too.

but if want something tat super bling for functions, go for charlottle's garbrielle diamonds. if dun need to bling tat much, but still good quality, go for goldheart.
 
but seriously, i think u go to the different shops to see for yourself better. cos different people like different things mah. some ppl prefer bigger size, some like better clarity, some like better colour, cut etc.

GIRDLE is that thin line where the top n bottom of the diamond meet. U know the flat top is table, then sloping down sides. Then they bend n slope inwards. That place where they bend is the girdlr

ya according to Lee Hwa SA she said destinee range all ideal cut. I am checking the GIA specs to see whether it is really ideal cut and what is the advantage of having ideal cut.

i have the tolkowsky 108 or something cut gabrielle. veri sparkly under lighting. i love it when i was younger. but now, i prefer my normal tiffany silver mesh ring or normal plain simple gold band. hahahahah! my hb asked me why am i keeping the diamond rings at one corner.
 
celine, to me it's all abt branding though the different brands carry ideal cut diamonds. if you'd like to customise yr own ring, can try the carat club. they do have different types of diamonds or precious stones and you can design yr ring. pricing it's quite reasonable. you'll get exclusive service there. they'll attend to u one &amp; explain &amp; discuss with you. it's like you're the onli one there. hahaha! dun buy also never mind.
 
zen, the old batch only cover 7 strains of viruses the new one cover 13 strains...but this is only for prevnar cos spore hv 2 brands, Prevnar (by Wyeth) &amp; Synflorix (by GSK)
 
Celine, jovia took this cos we gng japan &amp; it's autumn but this vaccine need to take every yr but it's optional jz like adult but adult only i dose..for children need 2 doses.
 
meetup.com playgroup
Recently have joined SG toddler playgroups @ meetup.com for local &amp; expats. However, I've noticed the ones who are actives are mostly expats in both playgroups. Maybe because the playgroup starters are expats?

So I am toying with the idea of starting my own for locals only. There will be a small fee per month for creater to keep the group if I were to start one, so needs to see response before I start one.

The features at meetup.com is great I feel. Especially when comes to organizing playdates, meetups &amp; weekend lunch date.

Anyone think it is a good idea?

PJPJ and I are starting our own playgroup. we just share cost of meterials bought.. Intending to have it on saturdays, at my place..

SHe do story telling, i'll do arts and craft and music time.
 
Sand, where is your place and what time would it be? Can we join too if we can make it? Zachary needs some story telling, arts &amp; crafts as well as music sessions!

yeah, i understand that. ever since weishy went back to work, I noticed we meet up lesser and lesser! last time atleast once a month or once every 2 months during weekend. but now like rarely (cept lunch dates among FTWM). haha so far for this year, think we only had group meetup for about 2 times during these 10 mths.

i have checked with MyGym Tampines not long ago but havent confirm the trial with them..

This is wat i get from them:
"For your child, i would recommend he goes to our Waddlers level (8 mths - 18mths). We do have prematured children in our class and since then they are developing very well according to the feedback of the parents. This is a 45mins parent participation class where program includes music n movement, puppetry, gymnastics, swing time and many more,

You are welcome to join our trial session. We will waive the trial fees ($35) should you join us after the trial session.
We look forward to you and your child to join us soon. Pls feel free to contact us if you have further enquiry."

the MyGym trial is for individual but I think we can call to see if we can join together.

GUG had the 50% off trial class during Sept. Maybe you can call them to see if they have any offer in Oct

Tks for informing! I just gave My Gym a call to enquire and it seems that only those with the flyer is entitled to the $5 trial, without flyer is $35. Group trial is not available as well and like JG, they can only slot in 2 places per trial.

Trial dates: Thursday, Friday &amp; Saturday
Timing: Thursday 3pm, Friday 9.30am, Saturday 9.30am

My Gym.
One day we decided to trial My Gym. My hb told me, "ok only trial, pls do not sign up har?!" I assure him, "yes, yes only trial." After 45min daddy n baby playtime, daddy carried baby out and said, "Sign Sign sign up now!" My hb noticed my girl was very timid (like mommy) when doing gym and climbing. My girl was extremely scare of all the climbings. After 3 weeks in My Gym, Since last week, she has been calling everyone to stand up or sit down and do exercise with her. When we follow her, she will smile, if we dont, she will point at you and make a noise to ask you to follow. If you are supposed to stand and you sit, she will point at you and make noise and pull your hand to stand with the rest. After 3 weeks there, she didnt cry when doing swing now, she loves My Gym. Her nightmares (we suspect was from My Gym) have also stopped. We love My Gym. Heehee...
PS: The daddy and baby bonding becomes stronger, Now I start to jealous... ...

I find the event option of fb very messy. and the meet up group is more of like for everyone in SG, not just among RL friends.

You should go last week, it was really fun, all of us (including the audiences) enjoyed it. BTW, you should ask when is their open house. Cos open house allows all to trial together and if you sign up on the spot, you dont hv to pay trial and membership. I was late for the open house for one day only so hv to pay membership fee.
