Aiyoh, after a few days of cranky baby, i daren't take the risk! Better wear the mask just in case ... and furthermore, i've caught the flu from him after i got well before.

Hahaha .. i was exaggerating but really, it took less than a minute b4 i was out of the room. But then again, it's just the normal flu symtoms, wldn't want it to drag on unnecessarily. There was once i was seeing a doc for illness, and instead i was being asked & 'preached' for doing all kinds of treatments for my face. (yah, i know, i've got pimply face). No wonder it took so long for all patients to come out of the room!

the autism linkage is with mmr. Not chicken pox. Chicken pox jab no other issues other than the possibility that u can still get it despite the jab. It's mmr that they have arguing for ages. In any case, measles jab is compulsory for schooling so u will need to take that indiv if u decide not to do mmr.

been so busy no time to come online.

do you normally wait inside the clinic? for us, we always stand outside & walk around to wait for our turn cos the clinic usually v crowded. we just went there on mon for the pneu booster jab. to my surprise, ethan didn't get fever. i realised that afternoon not so many people. next month going for the MMR + Chicken pox jab. then followed by the 5in1 booster jab.

Ya mashy, I know. Chicken pox jab also one of the debate topic. Since MMR is compulsory, I opt to separate the jabs. Pay extra more to take the chicken pox jab later. If my girl get chicken pox then also good lah, naturally infected creates forever immunity better than vaccine. I will wait for 10 yrs clinical trial complete then consider chicken pox jab, another 5 yrs ...

but we din stick to dr tan. sometimes see dr loh. we're fine with both.
this is the 1st time we went in the afternoon. parking so much easier & clinic not crowded. just wait for 1-2 people then our turn so this time round just wait inside the clinic.
their clinic always full of sick people. i see already also scared. moreover ethan can't stay still in 1 place so we bring him go walk around. sometimes hang around guardian hv air-con. hahaha!

piggy, i thk PD rate abt the same..cos they charge consultation usually the medicines not tat ex.
I bot jovia for flu influenza, one more jab nxt sat. for their age they need 2. Dr chan told me she will give us some travel med to bring along for the trip too.

we usually take leave when due for his vaccin do go morning. tis week only can take half day so go afternoon.

it's the 18mth DPT/DT booster. for 15mths is the MMR or MMR + chix pox. we delayed the pneu booster till now cos ethan was having flu on & off for a few weeks.

ya..it's like $30-$50 more than GP...actually starting i bot jovia to GP for jabs also..then when she was 4mths old she has diarrhea mah so i bot her to PD & hubby's co can claim so we stick to Dr Chan lo.

Zen, ic cos piggy & joyce's son took both have fever after tat
i dare not bring jovia for tat cos we flying in less than 2wks time. nxt sat need to bring her for last dose of flu influenza before we fly on Mon night.

i think it depends on individual. does jovia normally hv fever after vaccin? piggy's son & my son's vaccin shd be the same batch since we go to the same clinic. Ethan din get any fever. he did feel a bit warm at night & the next day but when i took his temp, it's 36+. so no fever at all. but we did give him more water to drink. lazy to cook barley water.

Piggy, as long as 2wks apart it's fine...but i dun mind delay MMR till 16mths cos nxt wk i gng to bring her for flu jab too.
oh ya, ethan is a bit cranky. but dunno becos he's teething or becos of the jab.
ethan's teeth very strange. they come out 2 by 2 since young instead of 1 by 1. now he has 4 top 4 bottom. then recently pop out 2 on top, 1 left 1 right. now bottom also popping out another 2.

SL, the flu jab she took the 1 jab 1mth ago but need another booster min 4wks after 1 jab tat's why we bringing her nxt sat before we fly on Mon.

Celine, my ring from Destinee too their cut really different even the size not big but really sparkle always caught pple attention hehehe

One thing.. Lee hwa used to have hearts n fire. Then the distributorshio switcged to tianpo. Both shops can't explain to me the reason. To me, it's suspicious! Haha

javier's canine came out first too.. he sprout the 4 canines then havent fully out, his lower outer 2 molars are out.. that period really cannot tahan.. super rejecting milk by bottle.. got to spoonfeed him everytime.. he still got 6 molars to go.. thats the nitemare when he sprout that..

same. ethan starts teething very early around 5mths. tat time the doc still said cannot be teething when i suspected. his teeth also stopping popping out for a few months. then recent weeks kept poppin out.

it also got to do with the number of cuts tat cause the sparkle. if you like the super fancy bling bling kind, go for the gabrielle diamonds. if u wan something tat is not too bling bling but shiny enough, get the 50+ cut. can't remember it's 56 or 58. lost touch with all these liao. i used to LOVE diamonds. now no $$$. destinee is also more sparkly & better quality compared to others.
