i brought my boy cut hair so often cos i noticed his hair grow faster after cutting haha. well, i only took him to barber once so far lah. like 2 weeks ago. plan to bring him for hair cut this weekend.

I also dun experience water retention leh only bloatedness. Only during preg coz the kidneys had to work extra hard. U drink more water? If doesn't go away, better see dr coz it's related to kidneys.

smurfy: i think the water retention varies for all bah... example, i get water retention only during the menses period..
reira: u can also use other methods to note ovulation like ovulation prediction kit (i tried but always like no use one. ahah) or the body temperature method..

Hi ladies, just want to share my decision on my girl's 15 mth jab. After talking to few doctors about the jab. I've decided to delay chicken pox vaccine to later date. 15mth jab will be pneumococcal 13-valent and MMR. Doctor also advise me to let baby take the 15mth jab 10 days before going to overseas holiday cos it takes 10 days for the 15mth jab to be an effective shield for baby. Good luck ya.

BB, thanks for sharing. Jovia still hv one more flu jab to take before we fly off. So i gng to delay the 13-valent till we back from the trip & MMR+chicken pox at 16 or 18mths.

for pneumococcal 13-valent was delayed from 12mths cos wait for new batch vaccines to arrive.
& happen i fly to japan end of this mth so will postpone till we return from trip.

we used to go to GP at my MIL's place.. since we shifted, tinkin if we shld go for a PD nearby instead..

Since it's quiet here today, let me rant can? I'm feeling so terrible cos i got the virus from hubby, in fact both me & ovann got it. Pretty glad that ovann has recovered, no more fever.
But i've not recovered and the med the doc precribed is hopeless ... doesn't seem to work and i've been tearing, mucus flowing, muscles aching and joints hurting. Every part of my muscles (or fats .. hahah) ache like hell, esp my legs.
Any miracle pills?

he is okie now ler.. so i tot i beta send him for the jabs soon.. he is coming to 15mths end of this mth.. n we are going to KL on 3nov..
beta to protect him from other more serious diseases..
anyway after all the sick episodes, his appetite increase alot.. he was rejected milk at a point of time.. playing w his milk bottle halfway thru, always have to break his milk feed into a few sessions... his solid feed was worse.. he will stand n sit, stand n sit.. feed n scold at the same time..
but now he will sit quietly n eat.. eat until he is full, then he will stand up.. drink milk, hold his own bottle, drink until finish then start move ard..
in fact, he can eat more than before.. n i start introducing him rice for dinner too.. 1hr after dinner, he down the usual 180ml of milk again.. n best, he will auto sleep after tat..
i hope the worst is over, n i can start enjoying tis lil miracle once again.. haha...

There's another type which i used during ttc for ovann
It's a mini microscope which detects ovulation thru the changes in your saliva.

apparently wen he falls sick, is after we brot him out to play.. like after the zoo trip fever, after wild wild wet diarrhoea.. is not the IFC..
seeing mummies gonna place their kids into CC after18mths, yet i am withdrawing him after 18mths, felt silly cos this is the time he is supposed to learn more things..
so we r continuing IFC.. only wen he is sick, then will send to my MIL place.. tink i am more comfortable this way..

Why not you try those herbal powder with liang teh from hock hua first? Tell them your main concerns e.g dry cough, or flu or fever. They have different powder for different symptoms.
Alternatively, not sure if you want to see this doc from Healthmark, she is on duty today (Chng Woei). But might be a bit far for you, not sure if you know where the "Ang Mo Supermkt" is in Punggol, the clinic is near there. She is quite good.

I brought aaden for pneu injection as well and he got a rather high fever after it. Plus cough and flu. Perhaps he got it while waiting for his turn in the clinic. So maybe you would like to wait till you return from yr trip? Did you go to see the Chinese sinseh at Thomson?

agree that bb tend to fall sick when they go out to play... #1 had hfmd a day before children's day, we didnt go wild wild wet in the end, so all of us in the family were confined with him since 1 Oct, the only places we go are : nanny's place, MIL place, SIL place, our home ...

yah...high fever. Aaden usually is a bit feverish after injections, around 37.6 but this time round, it went up to 38-ish So my weekend was spent taking care of him, with the influx of his cough and flu the next day.
So better dun risk it before your trip. I am thinking of bringing aaden to see the chinese sinseh, cos he is still having the occasional phelmgy cough though it has been 2 weeks liao.

Btw, do u people wear a mask when u r sick? I'm currently wearing cos din want to spread it to ovann. Even when i go out with him i oso put on the mask. Yesterday brought ovann to pd, and i was wearing the mask too, a few teenage school students walked past & saw me, muttered something to each other & giggled. Guess they were making fun of me. Duh!

pegsfur, i thk ovann alr immuned to the virus since he also caught it from your husband think you dun need wear a mask..if u falling sick before ovann catch it then u wear a mask for prevention.
