eat more beef. So glad my gal likes to eat. I put anything near her mouth only she auto open and stick out her tongue to try. She even tried my curry and chilli sauce. Haha. I made children's Japanese curry for her yesterday and she ate it up too.

April thanks for helping to arrange! I rather like the class. But J doesn't seem to really like it. He was so happy when he was out of class. Maybe he prefers his daddy to be with him :S

I've been cooking porridge for J. Think he's getting bored of it :p My mum also bought the star pasta. Size is gd, but the texture no good. Very sticky..

Honey star issit too hard? Hw many teeth they hav? My boy hv 6 so far, i scared he cannot chew well on those hard biscuits, so seldom let him try. But he eats anything....

my boy has 8 teeth but can see his 9-12th teeth liao.. very small now.. eh.. i juz bought yesterday, havent let him try.. thinking of finishing his gerber puff then open..
 
aiyo... I just realised that I've been mixing the wrong amt for mamil gold...

just read that 180ml (6oz) of water need 5 scoops only...
I've been mixing 150ml (5oz) of water with 5 scoops instead.

sian leh... my boy can bearly finish 150ml, so how to measure 4.167 scopes? so silly!

I also let my boy try Meiji fresh milk. But he cannot finish the smallest bottle one per day. Not sure if can give those in the bottle that is opened in the fridge for more than 1 day leh... I think will follow BM rule, open for more than 2 days then dont give...
 
My boy oso dun like pasta ... tried a few times with diff ingrediants he still dun like. He still prefers porridge, but will eat wat we eat outside, like noodles, rice or kuay teow. But these are only given to him as treats so that he will keep quiet & not make noise .. haven't really gave him those as a meal yet.

Oh, tried giving him mee sua during his lunar bday ... i almost wanted to sleep feeding him cos he ate sssoooooo slowly! Normally he takes only abt 20mins to finish his porridge but it took him almost 1hr to eat the mee sua .. and he din even finished it up.
 
ya kiki... it's better to serve lesser milk powder than more! it's not good for the liver.

I let my gal try anything so long as not eggs and peanut. I now scared after my boy turned out not liking food. So better be more relaxed and let them eat everything. That includes lots of greens.

hmm.. Denson has been playing w milk.. each time max 100ml only.. but in sch, he seem to b able to finish 180ml each time... 2 times in sch..

i cant predict his pattern now..

my boi previously was ok pasta, any food he will eat now he become picky but at least he got took few mouthful be4 he reject.

yah, my boy only takes 150ml of FM per day.

will try to sneak some into his cereal in the morning/afternoon but those already add some other stuff mah, so wrong proportion still chin-cai lah...

he's still taking BM, hopefully can increase his FM intake, then I can stop BFing.
 
michelle: oh so i am not the only one who finds the star pasta's texture like that... thought my cooking skill all disappear cannot even cook pasta. hahaha..

Happi: shayna has about 6- 7 teeth but she can chew on honeystars.. i mean, i havent given it to her yet but i am sure she can chew it. They can chew with the molars (even if its just gums and no teeth)..

wat brand of pasta star u gave shayna? i bought the bellamy one leh.. juz now let javier tried 2 tablespoons with puree and he ate leh.. but i find the bellamy one very small and soft.. abit mushy too..

I'm using small tin of mamil
it's 240ml for 8 scoops...so I use 1 scoop for every 30ml
Ryan never finishes more than 60ml...so I use 2 scoops only n mix with ebm
oopss...I open those big bottle n let him
drink 3 days liao...thinking bout it, better not keep it open for too long

now I have a bottle of freshmilk, open for 5 days already! didnt want to give to my boy so its just left inside the fridge. My mum just nag at me to drink it... I drink until I want to puke! cant blame my boy for not drinking milk, cos I also dont like.

About the mamil milk, are u currently feeding your boy stage 3? Cause the scoop (spoon)for stage 3 is bigger, different from the one in stage 2. That's why last time :

stage 2 150ml= 5 scoops
Now,
Stage 3 180ml= 5 scoops

Have been away last few days. Sad tat I can't go for the GUG trial. Haiz, any more trials for it??

Ethan is ok with most of his food. The moment yr hands or soup is near his mouth it's auto like the door - open!! And always mum mum mum mum.... Even after milk. He loves bread and fruits the most. And he likes strawberries..


Btw any mummies giving their bb bottled food like those Heinz purée??? Ethan dun like it and I've a lot of it at home. Wanna give away..

Piggy, for Enfa i use this ratio 1 scoop of FM for 60ml of water. cos the guidance was 225ml for 4 scoops of Fm means 1 scoop FM=56.25ml

for the dispenser oh dear i tink i forgot to ask nvm i call later.. but so far i only ask for 1 dispenser even i got 100 guests no issue so far.. as for the water i tink all caterer uses tap water 1... i am fine with it la depend on u gals...

donkeymami, good to know Jovia is better now. The rashes will probably last 2-3 days. Isaac had alot of it all over after his fever, and I even thot it was HFMD!
