fatbobo> wow! think i'm still paranoid that there're germs around. hee.. but then again, like my hubby said, J's already eating outside food and using the utensils. What's the use of sterilising his milk bottles? Haha...
 
babyja, ya so i need to buy 2-3tins to keep..1 tin can last 2-3wks..cos day time she drink at in-law plc so need 1 tin to put there.
 
Michelle i still sterlise milk bottles reason is jz use the steriliser since alr there haha..

I got 6 bottles..3big 3 small so oli wash & sterlise every 2days..lazy mummy.

ya loh.. i also put 1 tin at my in'laws' house coz javier taking 1 feed there every nite.. muz let javier try GainIQ liao so that i know whether can stock up GainIQ or other FM..
 
michelle i also still sterilise his milk bottles, pacifiers and mag mag bottles since the steriliser is still der... and my dog is in the kitchen so the steriliser is somehow to cover the btls..
ethan has onli 2 big and 1 small bottle... he dun use everyday so i onli steriliser when he use..
 
I still sterlise the bottles, cos together with my pump. Only sterilise it once every night.

Do we need to change bottles ? Im still using those since Day 1
 
babyja, javier take similac since birth right? i thk he wun hv prob wif gainIQ bah..jovia cant take similar..so i switch her to enfagrow for abt 2-3wks so far so good..BTW jovia 11th & 12th teeth alr showing..hw abt Javier?

oh... thats fast leh... javier's 9th and 10th showing.. but 11th and 12th not yet, but i can feel it, sharp sharp at the gums leh.. so on the way also.. btw, jovia sprout molar or canine?

i still sterilise his milk bottles too.. wat i read was residue from milk if not sterilise/wash properly mayb have harmful baterial to babies..

wat i read was to change milk bottles every 6 months and teats every 3months.. i change once coz previously javier was using pigeon, after that i change to avent but this avent bottles also use for than 6 months liao.. hee.. his teats have change afew times tho coz changing the holes size ma..
 
hehe.. my steriliser oso still sitting in the kitchen table top.. but i oni use it to keep the bottles aft wash oni. my girls share 4 bottles niah. heee~

for me la.. since they were like 10-11mths old.. we let them play with those cutleries gvn by restaurants whn we eat out oso.. they will suck n bite.. n throw on the floor. we will just pick it up n let them play agn. of cos if really too dirty kind, then will put clean first or put aside. for us, we dun wana keep everything too clean for them, let them be exposed to some dirt n bacteria....so that they will not be so vulnerable later on. i know sm mummies frm the twin thread even use dettol to clean their toys everyday! we juz use water. (worse if the dettol is not properly cleaned..the bbs will be eating dettol le. haha.)
 
babyja, ya constipate but tat was stage 2 la..so now stage 3 i try enfa.

Jovia's one are molar le..she has 4 molar alr..upper & lower
 
dolce, i am also still using the same bottles since Isaac was born. Mine is the B-free kind.. so expensive, bu she de throw away.

i oso sterile bottles n pacificers. is more of a habit, i think .. coz they all oso exposed to dirty things here n there oredi right?

i still use these leh even for my 3.5yrs old #1 ? dunno when to stop.

baby wipes whenever i change diaper, even when it is onli urine

oh.. i heard some babies will constipate when taking similac.. so far javier ok with it so dun bother to change also..

hmm.. i am still wondering too coz javier sprout 4 canine leh.. health booklet state molar 12- 14th month and canine 16-18months. molar i cant really see coz he dun let me open his mouth big.. i dun dare to put my finger in too, scare he will bite.. hee..

Think most of us are still using same from Day 1..heehee..kinda comforting to know this, that Im not alone =)

Last time when Nat was younger, I would wash anything that she dropped, but now no more, at most just blow blow or wipe with hand/tissue oni..ahhahahaha...fatbobo is right, need to expose them with some bacteria
 
oh but one ting.. im not ready to use unboiled tap water for their milk making. though i was tinking.. when we wash the mouth.. or like brush the teeth.. tap water will be swallowed anyways.. so wat's the difference!?! haha.. but no la.. to hv like 90ml of tap water in the milk.. still a 'no-no' for me!
 
smurfy, i also still use baby launfry detergent and bottle cleansers... i find the detergent very nice smell so nvr stop and i bought 4 packs when ethan jus born and still left with 2 packets... haha....

i also use the baby wipes whenever i change his diapers...

milk bottles.. i onli change the teats... cos he still drinking BM so nvr use milk btl den very sayang to jus change like tat

ethan is droolingh again.. and wondering is the 9th teeth popping out soon...

last time when my mum works at the childcare of the american club.. she wld cm back with many 'stories' de. i rmbrd once..she mentioned this little ang mo bb boy..toddler actually.. he was chewing on an apple.. he dropped the apple on the carpetted floor..n the apple rolled under the cabinet.. the mother asked him to pick up himself, so he stretched n reached..n finally found his apple... n *dup*..directly into the mouth it went!!!!!! hahaha.

this..i dun tink i can accept thou!!! hahaha.. carpetted some more.. so much dust can!!!!

For bottle cleanser, Im using house brand from Cold Storage, cheap cheap, only about $5 for a 1L bottle...but its always out of stock.

Im also using baby detergent from Kodomo, nice smell but exp! Think powder cheaper...wont use as much

me still using pigeon brand (baby wipes, bottle cleanser n laundry detergent).. exp.. sianz.. every few mths.. i just order $200 direct frm cheong choon and get them send everything to my place.. reluctant to change brand but dunno how to cut cost.

for bottle detergent, will use finish my current stock, used to buy alot..

i tink for the clothes detergent i will continue w the baby ones.. i tink Denson got pretty 'fragile' skin.

Denson only got 1 tooth.. n the tooth like not fully emerged kind.. n worse it seems denson's teeth is slanted.. haiz..
 
ya, true about the milk remnants in the milk bottles & teats. but i guess we can jus dip the bottles/teats in hot water. also considered sterilised? hehe...

Dolce> ya, i also read about having to change the milk bottles/teats. i've changed once already. think i'll have to change them soon. cos everytime we sterilise them. guess the plastic is wearing out already ba?

Bobo: oh thats gross! Even i wouldnt eat a apple thats rolled across the floor!!

Abt teeth: shayna has 7 i think. Later i go back check if got molars.. Haha.. I still waitng for dr to review my x ray.. Thank god for iphone..

yes I still sterilized all my bb bottles in fact b4 #2 come along I still sterilized my #1 bottles since the pigeon sterilizer putting there :p

yes still using tollyjoy washing detergent and laundry powder for both my boys

juz to check any mummy let ur baby try seafood/shellfish beside scallop? brought javier for his allergy review on monday.. doc say so far he no allergy to food so told me can let him try prawn too.. but 4get to ask whether can drink honey anot..

My sis gave Nat abit of her prawn b4, so far ok..she has also taken abit of our noodles from fried prawn mee...so far so good =)
But can we let them eat such food now ?

i was in NPCC too.. continued till CI after O level.. only for awhile haha..

my hubby was frm NPCC too..

rmb seeing Sherrie was from NPCC too..

we got lots of fake police here.. haha
