Cant believe Sat is coming... 1 day left to dust the house, thoroughly clean the house, pack all the stuffs thats unpack or simply pack "messy area" like wardrobes. With Zachary at a stage that he only wants me to sit there and watch him play, how to finish them in a day?

talking about jelly heart... yummy! i love it after tasting it last Oct during the gathering in babymaking's house. planning to make that for my son's party coming this Sat as dessert #2. hopefully it will turn out well this time round.

hehe thanks for sharing link to the jelly heart recipe with me! but i failed the first time i made haha. missed out sugar cos the steps never put sugar... after reading some comments in Aunty Yochana's blog then realised that i missed out sugar. Gonna try making tomorrow hopefully it wont taste like crap again!

donkeymami: yeah will take pic of the pine garden cake! Made so many changes to the design and all done via phone/ email... hopefully i am satisfied with the cake! =)
 
babys, i also hope PG wun screw up my order...i left my candle wif them cos they will add pick in the candle for better support...hopefully they remember to bring along. cos they forgot to bring my fren's candle & some figurines got to go back to take.
 
donkeymami: my candle is the flat base kind. PG asked me to pass to them so they can add in the pick alos.. but i didnt. scared lost. haah... i poked a tooth pick into the base of the candle last night, works well and candle didnt crack.. heee..

bobo: i bought shayna's candle at the middle road ex concourse shops.. lots of designs and cheap. Shayna's one is a figure 1 candle with a small cupcake... less than $2!!!!

anyways.. need to go there to collect 2 cakes for my girls. hehe. custom made 2 mini cakes for them..one each..... n ya, am so happy.. PG managed to squeeze in to deliver my cake on sun. (oni ystrday den called to ask abt delivery.. heng arh!!).

nothing fantastic planned.. but am very very glad tings r slowly getting into plc... hope the entire event will be smooth n orite. frm a planned mini gathering of abt 20ish ppl... sekali ended up with at least 50..adults.. bbs n kids on list nw is almost 20. gosh..another big crowd in my tiny den!!! (let's c actual turn-out.. but who wld be free to go count anyways.. bahaha!)

Hi mummy I need some advise

I thinking of bring my boy go downtown east chalet for 2 night stay but a few thing need advise :

1) how u all bath baby if only have head shower ? (Dun tell me I have to bring his big bath tub go chalet heehee )

2) how to cook porridge for him ? ( bring down a slow cooker ) ?

actually last saturday was at explorerkid my elderson pri sch mates is having her bday celebration, saw this race ad too, tot of signing edric. saturday my elder son hv enrichment class, he will miss lesson on 14 aug liao, so better not to miss lah.

taipan cake nice! we celebrate our elder son bday in yr06 at HKG bring him to disneyland.

Bean,
1) juz bath him with head shower. last dec christmas holiday went sentosa shangri la we use head shower bath him too.

2) buy those ready mix nestle cereal. bring slow cooker aiyo ma fan leh...

that time brought shaun to starcruise..bathe him in the sink..haha.. but he was abt 6 months old then..so could still fit into the sink v nicely... not sure abt now...

And that time, he was not on prorridge yet..so bot cereal then.

bean: when we brought shayna to KL recently, i went to buy a inflatable bath tub online.. from SMH forum one. paid about $20 plus but i think its worth every cent...

bobo: nice that u have two cakes.. the girls may be twins but they are still two lovely individuals! =)

haha plan to make Zachary sleep early so that i can have more time for cleaning the house & baking today. but jelly heart dont take much time lah. 30mins can le. just the waiting time is long.

yeah totally! Hopefully he will nap if i put him in his cot and close the room door. i manage to clean my kitchen surface just now & pack some stuffs haha
 
no.. actually not getting them the cakes today. hehe. it's for sun..at the party. we're still getting only one cake for them actually..(for us to eat la).. the mini cake is for them to mess up de.. wanted to get PG do something additional.. but too inconvenient to go AMK to tell them wat i wanted.
tink more than a yr ago..i saw a twin-blog, they had the cakes to let the bbs mess up.. but latr on i scared the ingredients n all not suitable for the bbs. recently someone oso bring up abt a cake for the bb to mess / play / eat?
so... but i oni spoke to PG like on mon or tues, the lady dun really understand wat i was trying to say..den too far to go down le.. n so happen on tue i saw this cute cake frm the 717 durian (or smting)..they had this cake with a PUNK HEAD design.. first tot was.. so like my girls hair! asked them if they hv the same design but smaller de.. at first they said no.. den latr, we asked agn.. n they agreed to custom make for us..n we cld chg the colours oso.. heeeee~
so..they're gona hv a mini cake each, with punk hair design.. for them to mess!
hb said they shld be 'old' enuff for watever cream n all, so ya.. we din bother abt watever ingredient they will be using. hehe.
i's gona be messy~~

no lah...my boy's lunar birthdate is on 2wks from now...

Wanna let "kwan yin" to accept my boy as "god grandson"...
so do it today(cos it's kwan yin goddess's accomplishment date aka kwan yin dan) b4 his lunar birthday...
otherwise the next kwan yin dan would be lunar 9mth 19day...
 
reira: must give the jelly hearts time to set hor... cos the timing very crucial for this, although simple steps.. ur cheese dont set u will see floating hearts in thejelly..

if u get floating heart partly it becos u mus put the hearts press into the cheese mixture be4 u put into the fridge not until the cheese set wor..
