babymaking,
Ovann was a nite monster yesterday! He woke up at least 4x last nite, crying and wants to be carried. Normally he'll only wake up once or twice but yesterday was really too much. Panda eyes now

babymaking & pegsfur, is it due to teething..my gal was like tat in the past few mths..recently she has been sleep thru the night...i thk her molar alr emerged cos i can touch something sharp using my finger.

pegsfur,

Denson was like tat for the past 2 weeks.. we almost died from the lack of sleep.. haha, exaggerating.. :p

he was sleeping on the floor mattress previously, woke up not only sit up, stand up n start banging our platform bed.. we go scare he will crawl away n play w fan wire.. so we took the cot into the room n he finally sleepin well.. still making noise in the nite twice or thrice.. but it is easier to pat him back to sleep.. no tooth yet.. the tooth has been the excuses for his crankiness for very very long ler..

joyful & kiki but somehow true for me..cos my gal always sleep thru de...but past few mths she also wokr up 2-3times at night...cos the teeth takes time to come out..

donkeymami,

mine refuse milk at the same time leh.. drink half only.. play until he happy then drink again.. but usually another 20mins only.. we start he hungry at nite, but dun dare to make it a habit.. so contradicting loh..

he used to sleep at 8pm, now must play till 9.30pm then sleep.. stand up, sit down, stand up sit down.. cruise n cruise, throw things my stuffs fr the headboard ledge... flip n flip n flip... we gav up n just let him play till 9pm then bring him to the room..

below his eyes got red red, obviously nt enuf slp but he just cant slp...

joyful, ya my gal will sleep early during wkdays cos she dun nap much in the noon at in-laws plc so she will sleep after night feed ard 8.30-9pm then sleep thru till nxt day 6-7am.

Joyful,

Look like dark circles...tsktsk...
Sometimes they can play till dun need sleep..haiz

oh yes, my boy is also the same! he just wanna keep playing and playing. even when he's sleepy, he'll jus lie there, close his eyes for a few seconds then wake up to continue playing. he'll repeat this a couple of times. *faint* probably this is a phase they all go through?

Mummies, how's the progress of yr bb's bday celebration? I've only confirmed the venue and still in discussion with the home-baker for the cake. Still need to source around for balloons for decor. Is Babyterror the cheapest so far for helium balloons?

kiki,
I oso let ovann eat some teething tablets .. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Just found out 1 problem with Ovann .. i found that he is not into self-feeding leh. When i give him food, he probably thinks it's toys and throw it on the floor. Last time he's still ok, as in when i give him teething biscuit, he'll gum on it and only throw away after it becomes mushy. Now, he doesn't even want to hold it. Instead, he will automatically opens his mouth & expect me to feed him like a little bird. Is it normal or am i worrying too much .... ?

Pegsfur,
dun worry i tink some bb r like tt lazy to hold.. Kyler 1st instinct when he saw food in my hand he will open mouth also but i refuse to feed him ask him take he will take.. nowaday i jus pour some biscuit in his suction bowl ask him to eat himself:p
i find babyterror not the cheapest but they got wide range of product so some pp prefer to order all from 1 webbie:p

kiki,

Ive been there b4, last year for xmas lunch n gift exchange.
The lady boss is very nice!
They gave us outdoor seats (very windy) as indoor was booked for an event.
Like the place except that food is so-so only.
Maybe depend on the menu bah =)

piggy,
I asked him to hold the biscuit he will oso hold, and then proceed to throw away! Was thinking of buying the suction bowl but scared that he'll start to throw away all the snacks in the bowl!

Babyterror indeed has a wide range ... but their webpage is making me headache .. hahaha .. so messy de!

kiki,
U inviting alot of people? For 'with a pinch of salt', wld u be doing buffet style or just order ala carte?

Pegsfur,
i tink it a phase... sumtime kyler will also throw cos he find it fun.. other time he will kuai kuai eat cos he is such a greedy boi!
jus buy the bowl first lo cos sooner or later u need to use mah.. u need to train him to self feed:p

hi mummies.... jsut wondering if my daughter is malnutrition. she eat veri little n can go w/o meal for 12hrs after she sleeps. this is a typical daily intake of food:

7.30am wakes up drink milk (abt 150-180ml)
10.30am milk (abt 150-180ml)
1.30pm porridge (baby bowl equalivent to 1/4 scoop of rice)
4.30pm porridge (baby bowl equalivent to 1/4 scoop of rice)
7.30pm milk ( abt 150-180ml)

when i tried to get her to drink ard 1030pm she doesnt want to drink if she has already sleep.... end up throwing away the milk....

is the milk intake too little? shld i reduce the porridge? or alternate days with n w/o porridge.

Very worried that she might be malnutrition.... n also... MIL does not give her water despite my constant reminder... (this one not within my control).... so having more milk is better?

Good Morning everyone,
finally SMH forum is up and can log in.

Joann,
my boy oni drink 3 times of milk a day as well. 7.30am, 2.30pm, and 7.30pm. her schedule is quite all rite. my boy will fall asleep betwen 8.30pm to 9.30pm sleep thru next morng 7.15am. need not worry if she is gaining weight. hv to drink water, we adult oso need water.

joann> wah. look after ur gal so ez. cos seldom need to feed her =x my boy eat so much. n ya, as long as got weigh gain, shuld be ok.

Hi all,

Just like to find out if you've purchased any extra tins for Enfapro A+ for sale (those that you've stocked up extras).. Am keen to take over.. =)

Do let me know too if you've any of the Enfapro A+ vouchers to give too..

Pls pm me & thanks

Joann
now the focus should be main meals, not milk. U should not reduce the porridge just so that she can drink more milk. Dun think u wan your kid to survive on pediasure next time. So long as growing well and gaining wt it's ok. U can give more solids in between if u wanna feed more. If she's sleeping, don't wake her to feed. She's coming one, not a newborn anymore. Dun need night feed if she doesn't ask.

Morning

piggy,
Yah lor, must train him ... last sat i tried to train him by giving him the teething biscuit. He gum on it for 3 secs, look at it and throw away. B4 i could pick it up, my dog stole it! Aiyoh .. they r like partners-in-crime!

I remembered that day u mentioned that the venue u wanted for kyler's bday was booked rite? So how? U managed to find other place?

Joan, just make sure she has a balanced 3 meals daily. Now solid should provide all the growing needs and milk more for calcium. As long as heavy weight, it should be fine. And also to give water.

i have not introduced breakfast for Denson too..

simply not enuff time leh..

he wakes up for milk at 7.30am to 8am.. wake for an hr then got to shower.. after shower, usually he will be sleepy ler.. he can sleep for 2hrs at home, sometimes longer.. by then is the next meal loh..

unless i wakes up earlier to feed him milk.. haha.. which i am so relunctant to..

-------------------

last nite, my hubby was holding Denson's arms to walk.. he was like running loh.. one step after another.. very very fast.. walk from his room to the living room then walk back to his room, sat down.. legs tired ler.. haha

joyful, fun for them. Ray loves to climb up and down stairs, sometimes he will get us to hold him to walk too but he prefers to do it on his own. He is cruising alot more now though he could take a step or two without help.

joann, my ger schedule is pretty much like yours... she is not a milk baby... sometimes her milk bottle intake is only 2 times a day, morning and late noon... I try to add in milk to her fruit and cereal to make her intake more milk. I tried to give her yogurt but too much cause lao sai also... hahahah...

Joann, my PD says that babies at this age can go without food/milk for 12 hours, and in fact, he is of the view that they should be sleeping 12 hours every night.

if your baby's weight is normal, there's no need to worry.
