sharon, when my #2 was a baby and went through a low appetite stage, the PD prescribbed vitamin B12 as an appetite booster. If u see the PD, u can ask them or go ask the pharmacist. The appetite booster isaac is taking is from the chinese doc, dun know what kind of conncotion it is.

Yes, i like bukit merah swimming pool too! Last time i worked at depot road and every friday my colleague & I will go there & swim. And yes, i liked it cos there's few people and no swimming lessons! Hahaa . but like u, tat was more than 10 yrs ago liao

Hahhaa ... no lor. Before i was preggy, i used to swim regularly at Hougang and it's always full of kids in lessons. Sometimes, there are as much as 3 diff groups taking lessons at the same time. It's madness!
The only time when the pool has few people and no swimming lessons is when it just finished raining

sharon: Ryan may probably be vomitting cos after nebulizer it leave a certain taste in their mouth that may cause them to feel like gagging. Just like how after using ventolin puffs, pple are advised to gargle their mouth after. GIve ryan a while to get over the effects of the neb..
the redhill swimming pool is the one near the mrt tracks? one of my schools (under my org) used to bring their students there to swim and stopped cos there were quite a few undesireable pool visitors there..

For those renting helium tanks to blow up balloons yrself, isn't it abit inconvenient & time consuming? And is it really more worth it?
I'm looking for those that will inflate the balloons for us, but most of them need us to self-collect, or those that does delivery charges quite high.
How much balloons are u guys using? Wld 50 be enuf?

The Bt Merah pool has been closed for years.
so sad..I used to like swimming there too cos it is less crowded n more spacious.

The one u are referring to is Lower Delta Pool...oh yes there are a few funny folks there-there is a few CKP uncles who will stand at the gates facing pool n peep inside for a long time.
When i was a kid,i saw a YOUNG man who shower totally naked at the kids toilet (no door type)at queenstown pool.I was soo confused cos saw his ahem *u know* so i asked my aunt why he showered there, she quickly pulled me away. LOL

Hahaa .. u din go & wash yr eyes? Talking abt ckps, my bro had an encounter with a gay man at the swimming pool too. He was beo-ing my bro for quite long le and when my bro finished swimming, he went to the toilet to bathe. That man followed him and tried to force kiss him!! My bro was sooo scared he pushed him away and ran for his life .. hahaha.

I used to go Bedok Public Swimming pool, not bad leh. No perverts, lucky them. Now hv baby, I go nearby 5min drive relative's condo pool, cleaner n less crowded. If hv time, I'll take my girl to Yew Tee for a swim.
Yoplait baby yogurt for 6months n above
Finally manage to get it at Finest Tampines last evening. Baby doesnt seem to like it. The next feed will add in more fruit.

Good Afternoon Mummies!
i'm kind of stuck with the foods which i have been feeding my girl nowadays. it's always the same porridge day after day (of cos with variation of veggie, fish , and meat).
hmm..does any of you give breakfast? if yes, what kind?
my girl's schedule as below:
wake up at 7.30am - 180ml milk
10.30am - 150ml milk
1pm - porridge lunch
4pm - 150 milk
7pm - porridge dinner
9pm - 180ml milk
3am (yes she still wakes up!) - 150ml milk
during the day an occasional fruit or biscuit snack.
what do you think? i'm thinking whether she is taking too much milk and hence not enough solids/meals. i have stopped giving her cereals since a few months ago...

bought 8heinz puree@10bucks, 4bigger bottle [email protected] each and 1box of banana cereal@3box. feel cheated. cos i juz bought the organic vanilla custard @ ntuc yesterday for 7.30, now they sell 6.10. grrs =p
also bought one copy of july issue young parents n get a whole bag of goodies supposedly worth more than 50bucks.

i would oso opt for more balloons.. the mickey mouse sculpture will have the wow factor with adults.. but kids will be more wow.. if the place is balloon filled.. it's like a magical balloon land.
