babys> the next time i go my gynae when my boy 1yr old i gonna ask the recep for the supplier's contact for milk powder. haha. cos 1yr den gonna let my boy start fm =p

there were 3 ifc at my place. why i choose the current one is cos the other one vacancy too big. 30+ baby, i worry. than another one is new to ifc, haven handled babies who drink breastmilk.
 


Thinking of going library with ovann to read him some story books. Is it advisable? I'm scared he'll throw a tantrum if i refuse to let him bite the books. Then will kena chase out ...
 
pegs: should be ok lah.. most of the kids there are screaming or shouting or playing anyway, i dont think they will notice ovann's screaming..

nmummy> nono. the one i choose i was on waitin list for 8mths. the other 2 i dun like. so i rather wait. anyway i registered 3mths before delivery. den 3mths maternity leave. wait 2mths. let my parents take care. den send to ifc when got vacancy

my boy prefer this than the sling... dun dare to piggy back too. so far only let him face out for sight seeing or face inside when he want to sleep. It was extremely useful when I went overseas holiday recently.

how is the sling type ? put at the side way one issit ?

ergo carrier, this can support upto how many weight ? where can get a cheap one ? price range ?

ergo cannot face out. onli face towards u.. side carry or piggy back carry.

I tried to face out before and my boy got to open his legs very big. almost like split already.
I thought it looks very uncomfortable, so went to search on the net and the model I have cannot face out de.

your boy never complaint?

haiyo, this is terrible! I let him faced out so many times *faint* And he still happily looking at scenerios wor.. thou we did notice his legs got to open quite wide.

My sling is Mom In Mind Deluxe Maroon color, I bought at Kid Mall at $48 with VCD. Let go at $38, you keen? Where are you staying/working? I used 3 x only, my boy simply refused to get into the sling, think his head perspire easily, he rather open legs wide in the ergo carrier...

now then I remember I got this sling...forget to add into my selling list! :p

i got it right for my first baby lar.. th en i loan it to someone frm this thread.. never bother to read back the manual for my #2 child when i start using 1 mth back .. no wonder.. she seems soo "droppy" when i carry her. kekekkee

giving the sling a miss.. too ex for me.. hopeful my problems go away when the new maid comes in.

Next Baby's Day Out in Aug focusing on the theme of My Baby's First National Day. We are planning for a cake cutting segment to celebrate our Nation's birthday and babies born in Aug. As your group has babies born in Aug, we can invite your group and other babies born in Aug to be up on stage for the cake cutting. Event is tentatively planned for 7 Aug. Will keep you updated once we have more details.
 
still welcome to participate, but i guess they are inviting the aug babies on stage only...

my son is 30Jul.. just few more days to Aug.. too bad
 
hey ladies, miss you all so much.. very busy nowadayds with my new job..

just have a question here, this is Renzo's feeding schedule since about 7 months+.
9:30am - 120ml milk+biscuit+cereal
10:30am - fruits
11:30am - lunch (pasta or porridge)
2:00pm - 180ml milk
5:30pm - dinner (pasta or porridge)
9:00pm - 240ml milk
5:30am - 150ml milk

now these 2 days suddenly he started to reject milk at 9:00pm, and for 2pm feed it took him 30 minutes+ to finish his milk, usually it only takes him 6 minutes. i am a bit lost as i really do not know what could be the problem, any of you experience the same thing please?

my baby is like that too since 2 weeks ago.
she refuse to have her 9pm feed and sleep. used to zzz at 9pm now 10pm.
she also used to sleep throughout but now wake at at 5am to either drink plain water or milk, but most of the time i gave water.

I think it should be ok as long as she still eating and playing well.

Baby day out... sound so cool since i missed out the first one...gee

My boy is drinking much lesser milk.
This is his schedule:

7:30am - latch (about 150ml)
9:30am - breakfast (half bowl cereal)
12:30pm - lunch (half bowl cereal... again!)
3:30pm - teabreak (60ml milk + biscuit)
6:00pm - dinner (porridge)
8:30pm - latch (about 150ml)
1am, 3am - latch (about 60ml)

Every meal time is drama... takes about 30mins to finish with screaming/fussing
 
by the way just to share...
i gave my bb too much cabbage and she has diarrhea with blood. so i suspect it is too windy...or either she is allergic to cabbage or some other reasons. taking medication now.. haiz..

ii tink the other time some of us did voluteer but cant remember who.. i dun mind helpin the west mummies if they dun mind only can pick up either wkday evenin or wkend but where u stay huh?
 
Back! Hmmm .. the sengkang library cannot make it lah, not suitable for bbs. There were only a few ikea children tables and stools and they were all occupied. End up i had to squat inbetween the shelves and read to Ovann. In any case, not much books for bbs their age, more for bigger kids de. And Ovann was bored with the stories that had too many words. He started talking 'ya-ya-ya-ya...' and 1 kid asked her mother, "mummy, the baby is noisy rite?" Luckily the mother answered no. But i quickly left anyway cos i can sense ovann's gonna scream soon

That time i made cabbage puree for ovann and he poo abt 3 or 4 times dat day. Normally he only poo once a day. The poo is not watery but abit loose. Though not to the extend of diarrhea, i stopped giving him cabbage completely.
