my hb's family also likes to use the word 'chou bar be' aka 'smelly pig' on babies. they used to use it on my golden retriever when he was a puppy. then when my SIL gv birth, my mil also used tat on the baby. when i was pregnant, i told my HB tat they better dun use tat on my baby. wat smelly pig? then y dun they call themselves smelly pigs. my hb asked me i never hear b4 ppl calling babies tat meh? i said NEVER. who will call baby 'chou ba be'?!

Bumbo Seat
my boy always leans forward when he sits in the bumbo. when he was younger, i tried putting the tray to prevent him frm leaning forward. but now he's 5.5mths liao, he still leans forward even though i put the tray. and he always try to wriggle out frm the seat. how to make him sit still?

My baby like to raise his leg the moment i put him down on his bed even when he drink milk also same.. my kolig told me got myth say tt this mena #2 will be a boi too dunno how true... haha..

now you mention, yes smelly pig that's what my mil told me.. see i dun even bother to remember that de lor, such bad words won't get registered in my brain.. i am sure if my father hear that he will be super angry de.. My father always say must be very careful with the words we use in front of our babies..

i think maybe because my parents have 2 gals so they are very careful in the way they cultivate us from young, but my in laws have 2 boys so they are more bochap lor.. and always talk loudly and use not so nice words.. Good thing is at least my fil is very gentle and polite type..

Some other myths I heard from my MIL is that if there is an extra line at the thigh area, your next one will be a gal! * super random right.

Wah, seems like everyone wanna go for 2nd one alr! I would love to have a tiger bb hahahha but my wound seems vulnerable.

ya lor i trying to associate too. my high chair is too high and big for claira to sit. tot can transfer to high chair later on. anyway, think can let claira sit on walker to feed before she is older.

Gin, I heard the same myth like you bb must suckle toes meaning next bb on the way.

I have been trying to prevent Ray from sucking his toes, he is able to bring his leg up and feet close to his mouth.

I do not have problem feeding Ray water, he is happy to drink it using spoon feeding or suck using straw.

Reira, glad that Zac can suck water from straw.

Nat can drink from the cup..my mum train her to do that and she will share a cup of warm water with my mum. I tried that on her on Sat and it works..hahaha..shes happy to drink out from cup, maybe its something new. Usuallly she dun quite like to drink water from bottle.

Zachary also like to raise his legs!! he can actually put his big toe inside his mouth and suckle (make very loud noise somemore). lol a lots of people already told me my next one high chance will be boy... fengshui master, CL see my boy's head and comment next will be boy. if i have #2, i hope it will be a she!!

i play with my boy using rattles/toys so that he will actually sit straight and try to grab the rattle/toy which i am holding. then after awhile he will sit straight le. unless lazy then will lean forward.

Peg, it is a bit hard to leave the children here with a bbsitter and go out for dinner and we do not want to impose on neighbours or our friends here. Dh wants to bond with the 2 boys also after 6 months away from them.

Anyway, all shops closed at 5 to 6pm and also dinning place close by 10pm. So might as well cook at home and go out on weekend as a family.
