Hi ladies...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! tomorrow gg to work again after long weekend.

i have started my bb on food liao le.
hehe... last 2 weeks started on puree and yesterday started cereal for him.
he don really like cereal cos i think i make it too watery liao le..
today i mix the barley cereal with puree and he like it a lot wor.

COUGH and Sneeze
My bb having cough and sneeze since fri.
a bit better now.. today bring him go see doc and doc said he does not require any medications.
he said sometimes is normal for bb to have a bit of sneeze and cough. phew...

Babymaking-feeding solids without making a mess is quite difficult.tats why when choosing high chairs best is like ikea type of material where u cN just brig inside e toilet n spray clean.
Another solution which I used for my girl is sit them inside the bath tub naked ,feed then wash up n bath at the same time Lazy mommy so no choice heheheh.
When clean bb face m mouth bes to use wet towel n my wet wipes.I find excessive of them causes red spots on their mouth area.
ESP when they start teethig ,use wet towels n wash regularly or replace regularly in a day.

my HB leaviin today so i teach my boi to call him papa n he actually did but he refuse to repeat again... hopefully he will call papa or mama soon aagin lol~

hmm feeding in the bath tub, fantastic idea except that my mum/mil/hubby will kill me.
i didn't really like the ikea highchair though cos i trip over it at a friend's place as the legs are very wide and it's so lightweight that bb almost fell along with it.
the jane activa is so much more sturdier and can be converted into a table/chair, plus it has 3 levels of incline.
noted abt the wipes - did you use the hand&mouth wipes or just the normal wipes?

i hope my boy rejects bottle is becos of his teething. really dunno how to solve this bottle rejection issue. sigh...... he's still latching on & i'm a little worried tat he'll start to bite real hard when his teeth is fully out.

wat is the interval between the growth of each tooth? my boy 3rd tooth seems to be coming out soon also. he starts to bite another area & we placed out finger in to feel. there's something hard protruding. but we still haven't see the white part coming out. his teeth seems to be growing out veri fast. one after another. my mum said usually one tooth will be fully grown before the next one pops out. oh, and what shd be the correct order of teeth growth. so far, his front lower 2 teeth r out. the 3rd one is also lower part.
i hope my boy rejects bottle is becos of his teething. really dunno how to solve this bottle rejection issue. sigh...... he's still latching on & i'm a little worried tat he'll start to bite real hard when his teeth is fully out.

i tried giving him toys to hold but he doesn't seem to like. but i realise that he likes the dangling toys on his rocker. u have the same one.
there's the toy on the left which sam likes to grasp n pull n music will play. i found that his fingers started to develop after he realised that pulling the toy creates music. i din set out to make him pull it tho. just let him discover by himself. coz i'm worried too much 'teaching' will stifle his creativity n make him reliant on us to play with every new n unfamiliar toy

so i can understand...
my dad got "it" after he started his latest career as a taxi driver...
long hours of sitting and irregular eating hrs...and eating outside food make it worse...

Morning ladies
Today is the 1st day of school ... bet there are alot of crying kids
Finally, after being a wriggly worm during feeding for 2/3 weeks, Ovann is finally drinking his milk properly again, and he is drinking more. I've upped his intake to 210ml every 4hrly and he can finish it all. That means i can put off his cereal till later
These few days 1 noticed that Ovann has learnt something new. He now knows his milk. When it's feeding time & I show the bottle to him, den ask him 'do u want nan-nan?', and he will start whinning for it.
He has also learnt to out-stretch his hands when he wants us to carry him. When i put him in his walker, after some time when he gets bored, he'll stretch out his arms whenever me or hubby walk past and starts to whine.
He has also learnt to 'walk' in his walker, although he's walking backwards. He's also starting to understand some words like fish. He loves to look at my hubby's fishes in the fish tank ... den when i ask him 'where's the fish?', he will turn to the fish tank direction and smile.
Aiyoh, chat later .. he just tried to pull out his cot bumper ...

i'm trying to introduce stage 2 similac to my gal. she drinks 120 ml, so i put 1 spoon of stage 1 and 1 spoon of stage 2. I started on Saturday morning. She can wait for 3and 1/2 to 4 hours before next feed. I thought she's okay with it. Then last night, she started to cry as if colic. I had to put ru yi oil and she lie on my stomach to sleep. Is it too much gas ? I wonder if i shouldnt' introduce stage 2 milk so early. Any advise mummies ?

But dunno why in the last week or so she has been extremely quiet n only occasionally "talk" a little only. Hope it's just a phase? Anyone else's baby like mine also? Dunno whether I should be concerned???

then too young to start stage 2 now. Stage 2 is for 6mths and above. Why do u wanna start so early? The stage 2 FM is nutritionally diff from stage 1 FM leh.

now then i realise sahms have no day off! at least i could forget abt work when back home or during weekends. the most that can happen is boss not happy n i lose my job. but now.. my 'day off' is when i can leave sam with mil n only for a few hrs - need to rush thru my errands, rush to pick up sam, rush home to pump.. hiaz

my mum is trying to teach sam bad habits. everytime she will insist on carrying him. the moment she sees him, she will go "bao bao". now he sees her only, he will act pitiful n whine hiaz

jul, actually FTWM also dun have much "day off" leh.. cos afterwork, its home to take care of the kids, and weekend is to care for kids also... but having done both roles, the SAHM role is definitely harder.
