Hi Everyone!
Wow the this thread move fast! As I'm writing now, I am using 1 hand to blow dry my hair and the other to type.
It appears that almost everyone is experiencing hair loss. When is the last time you did something drastic to your hair? Share please!
Just two days ago, I did an unimaginable act. Feeling SO SO frustrated looking at the pool of hair at the drainage in the toilet, I bundled my baby girl, Ziru to my guy and head straight to a never-visit-never-seen before salon downstairs and got a super random auntie to cut my 5 years worth of rebonded shoulder length hair into a bob cut. Okay, admitted that it's a crazy act and YES, my heart was pumping madly when she cut it. Thankfully the cut came out looking fabulous! Boing Boing * Wind blows.
A few tips from the Been-There-Done-That Auntie Hairdresser (who is a proud granny of 3 grandkids) :
1. Ah girl, If you have oily scalp, make sure you wash your hair everyday and must blow dry your hair ah. Cannot sleep with your hair wet hor.
2. Don't eat Maggie Mee. Hair will drop more!
3. As what weishy (hlmommy) mentioned, eat more nutritious food. Hairdresser Auntie swear by black chicken soup.
Maybe now that the hair is shorter, the hair loss looks alot lesser. But blowing my hair dry helps alot! My hair at the brush now is only 3 - 4 strands! okay maybe 8 strands the most.

Super Random again! Instead of pouring your woes on hair loss, hey how about flaunting off your little one? If you have your little one newborn look + current look? Here's Ziru at 4mth+ Her hair is like finding green grass in the desert..pathetic..So LITTLE hair. How to make her look more.. erm... look more girly? Anyone knows where I could get those lacey headband?

Maybe you can find your new hairstyle in this! Mine is a straight bob with no bangs. Wind-swept fringe yay.
Does your wrist hurt when you carry your baby? Mine is insanely painful... hope she is not too fat.. she is weighing 8kg+ at 4mth+. Feel like a coolie carrying a pack of rice around everyday.

Maybe try to let them wear those pants with leggings at night...
i only let my boy wear socks on outing...and at home will be those pants with "leggings"...

i also cut my long curly hair to a straight bob wif long fringe. but i regret cutting it leh. i shd hv jus bear wif it, cut it slightly shorter & rebond my hair. sigh....

Sam is bah bah!!! Just look at the layers on his thigh and round round face .. lol!
For starting of solids, i was thinking maybe new food, new taste, he may be more interested in eating mah. And that time when he tried the frisocream, he seems to like it and no major mess too
Anyway, i'm still monitoring lah. But thinking of making apple puree for him later

I'm the opposite of u ... i cut my hair short b4 delivery all the way until last month when i really couldn't stand it anymore when it grows long & looked like a mushroom. So 2 wks ago i finally went to rebond and decide to grow it long

ya, i photocopy. but can't remember if they look at it or not. i also changed my religion so photocopy my baptism cert. i also photocopy my marriage cert but they insist on wanting to see the original. i did add my married name. but they advised me not to. cos next time in all legal documents, i've to include my married name also. so the name becomes very long. my own name plus married name.

weishy, reira, jul, SL, patricia, cloudme, thanks for your well wishes for my father. He's better now, he was admitted because he didn't take care of his diabetic condition and the blood glucose level shot up very high. If he didn't get help in time, it can be potentially fatal as it can induce a coma. Can only pray that after this lesson, he will take better care to monitor his condition, and eat properly.
kiki/sharon, yes time flies indeed and I am also looking forward to their 1 yr old mark, though I must say I would really miss their babyhood. They are such a bundle of joy now, with that toothless grin

Nope, I think he's rather short for his weight. He was only 65cm at 4mths 1wk.
The hairstyles u posted are so cool. But somehow I nvr manage to get that effect. I aws seem to end up looking like an auntie's bob. Guess my face can't carry it off

i waited till after i hit 31 n rec'v numerous reminders then changed haha. at first lazy... then got preg, tired.. then gave birth, busy n tired..
i went straight there n they sent me to some interview rm. had to fill a form n state why i was late. the guy took a glance at the reason "birth of bb" n sent me off to get my ic liao.
as for changing of education level, i just told them. marriage.. no need leh. i tot rom already linked to all those other govt agencies?
paid $10, gave them 1 photo, then went to another counter n waited to colect my ic on the spot.
if u dun have a photo, can take there for $5+
