heehee i'll do that. but i'm gonna wait till weishy orders the brown rice then i'll go out n buy the others. coz i know if i buy now, or start thinking abt it, i'll be v excited n will immed start feeding sam liao haha
since his weight is enough, i dun need to feed him solids so early lor.
so far I oni give edric home made apple puree when I am taking care of him juz 1.5 wks ago. my mum who is taking care of him during the day, she keep telling me to buy rice cereal for him. so went NTUC yday evening after dinner, Nestle start 6 mths onwards, saw Frisocream say start 4 mths onward, so juz buy tat to keep her mouth shut, will see wat my mum feedback tonite....
weishy,
ya lor i was like how come so much water.. den i see happy bellies it say 4tbs of water to 1 tbs of cereal. so a bit confuse lor.. like tt will feel full meh? but u gave 2 teaspoon shd be half a tablespoon? den u gave 50ml water isn't it the same?
weishy> so is u ordering the happy bellies? nxt mth ah? okok. cos my boy 1apr den is officially 30wks old, den can eat solid food. looking forward to tat day. no need stress abt pumping =p
i think i will be letting my boy take the brown rice powder from the "rabbit moon" or "moon rabbit" brand...
those w/o milk powder pre-mix with si sen...
i still prefer to let my boy have his own milk mixed into those plain cereal...
I've also been toying with the idea of feeding Ovann cereal now instead of waiting for 6mths cos he's still struggling to drink his milk. So yesterday went ntuc and bought Frisocream too, and a jar of pear & avocado.
I'm still blur in the feeding instructions of Friso cream, it says 3tbs to 100ml of water, so how much do we really feed? According to how much milk bb drinks? E.g, bb drinks 180ml milk, so for the cereal, i just add in abt 5tbs to 180ml of water? Is that correct?
babyja,
frisocream is premix with milk powder...which i don't really like loh...scare later he will reject current milk powder
so far i gotten a can of the instant brown rice powder and start mixing a tea spoon of it into my boy's milk ...
intro him to the taste first...
so far so good...

should be no problem lah coz my boy is about 66cm only.. the jumperoo has 3 heights.. we set no.1 for him, which is the lowest. he feet can touch the floor. dh saw the instruction say his feet cannot flat on surface, should be tiptoe.. can still sit, got toys to entertain him also..
btw, i got upload a video clip of him playing in facebook.. u can take a look..
sharon,
i also rented the jumperoo for ethan last month. he only started to enjoy it these 2 weeks. initially not too keen to jump but he still sits in it. now hv to return alreadi then he starts jumping like dunno wat. i'll be renting the exersaucer next for him
try this website my growing toys.com. i prefer this company to another one which i rented the swing & bouncer. their toys are newer & cleaner i feel.
hi mummies,
I just loan a 'firstfoods' for babies from 6months to 24months from NLB. Its quite good, the authors in fact is from a nutrition consultancy in Singapore. The recipes are quite easy to make for babies.
I also just bought a jumperoo for my baby. How long can your baby sit in the jumperoo for? Mine loves it initially, but can't sit in there for too long. He will cry after that. Dunno why.
I bot a stroller arch n a tiger toy for Sam for Xmas. n the Sophie the giraffe. Also started taking out the bumbo for him to sit. Now he has more toys. Previously I din buy anything for him, not even rattles or teethers. Poor deprived boy haha
baby cereal
anyone tried earth best/milupa baby cereal?is it good? Have started jania on carrot puree and she seems to like it...can we add puree to baby cereal? or does cereal needs to start only at 6 months?
piggy
is the cool mat useful? thinking of getting one for jania's car seat cos the car seat like v hot...
Daph

yah 15 mins to me is long. haha. He normally plays for like 5 - 10 mins. Yah, maybe he felt tired or something. You boy must have enjoyed it so much. haha!

michelle,
there's no stocks at the shop. as what weishy said, only when order, then they will send the stocks to the shop. - weird way of doing business.
