8 out of 10 times, when we gave Zac the pacifier, he will reject it, & insist on sucking his sleeve/mitten/fingers etc. but sometimes he will accept it. but if yr bb sucking need is not strong, then dun need pacifier.

join the club, been exhausted since 4am on Sun. yesterday took zac to the PD, he has a case of colic. PD mentioned that he's more sensitive hence reaction more severe, just have to bear with it if you have done all the following:
1) reduce as much wind as possible - shake milk bottle correctly, ridwind, gripe water, burp halfway thru feed, keep him in semi up right position.
2) keep bb warm - ruyi oil/telon - rub on hands, warm on bb tummy, sole of feet, massage tummy, feet, & back of lower legs.
3) keep bb comfortable - swaying movement, etc soft rocking, gliding, walking, car ride
4) failing which take the medicine which he gave..which cause bb to sleep, so far out of desperation, gave bb 2 doses...so far it doesn't make Zac sleep but it does quieten him down. thk goodness!
oh another thing, PD said to make sure not to overfeed bb, that will worsen the colic. now trying to reduce to 90ml every 3 hrs.
