i once waited 2.5 hrs for her before during my #1's checkups.. coz she had 2 deliveries.. very sianz.. went out to eat lunch.. walked around the hospital.. really nothing to do.. thats why i always take morning check ups if possible..

i heard from her nurse that she's really got lots and lots of patients.. so what to do.. got to wait.

but she's really good.. had her for my #1 too and really enjoyed my birthing process with her.. if i have #3.. sure will go back to her too!!

2.5hrs!! Wah ... really sian leh, esp so when there's nothing to shop at TMC. I kena once when she need to deliver bb, but lucky it took only 15mins cos she said that mummy is delivering her 3rd bb, so it's quite fast.

I've been having more BHs recently too and most of the time it happens at nite, and i get really breathless when it happens. The only time when i get it in the morning is when i walk my dog.

I'm getting excited whenever i have BH cos it cld turn into true contractions. I tried to monitor it but so far nothing happens lor ... came on &amp; off for a few times den no more le. Anti-climax lah.

It is comforting to know that I am not the only one who spends 1/2 the entire day on BF/EBM etc. My baby feeds every 3 hours and spends at least 1 hour BF each session. Got to squeeze in sleep, meals etc in between.

I got those hard lumps you were talking about. Have been self-massaging them daily (painful to do so) and managed to get rid of most of them. However, there are a few persistent areas which seem to re-fill and become hard and tender again after 1-2 days. Did Mdm Rokiah give any suggestions about how to rid them permanently? After she cleared the clogged ducts, did those lumps return? I am so tempted to try her massage if it can get rid of this problem permanently.

i'm from the oct thread. can i check with you if you have constipation during pregnancy, and shortly after birth does it get better or still the same? my constipation problem is really very bad and i dun think i can still gek after delivery so hoping it will get better... esp with a wound around.

Hi ladies, I just came back from hospital. Was admitted on national day due to secondary postpartum hemorrage. I gave birth 2 weeks ago and tot my lochia was ending soon but on tat day I was bleeding profusely. Thick blood clots and fresh blood was gushing out. No matter wat position I was in, e bleeding continued to flow like urine. So I was admitted. Gynae said it was due to infection n my uterus did not contract properly.

I dun know how e infection came abt but mummies who has given birth n mummies to be, pls take care of urself during confinement ya. Dun be too over zealous to do too many things on ur own. Learn to ask for help. Take care

my gynae inserted 3 tablets for me (2pm), after that she asked me to go home, if contraction in 15 mins interval just go to hospital, if no contraction just check in hospital the next day.

in fact i started to hv contraction at 8pm, then the interval getting closer n checked into hospital at midnight.

So not to worry too much ya! wish u hv a smooth delivery.

irene: Had the same problem with my baby initially - occ falls asleep while latched on. Was told not make the baby too warm ( ie comfortable) while BF and if she falls asleep, I would try to wake her up and continue BF if I know that she probably had not had enough

My dr gave me a medication to soften the stools after birth.

I also have multiple tears and it took about 2 weeks for it to recover. Do remember to take the pain killers. Also my dr told me to put the pads in the fridge to cool it, it will help abit too. I've been using double pureen pads to cushion the stitches.

Thanks for that! That was what my gynae had advised. I tot i heard him wrongly cos he said he will insert 3 tablets for me and ask me to go home until contraction comes. I thought most of the induction is done after you admitted to hospital also.

gals so far i have no milk at all n when i try to pump jus now my nipple is v painful even bleed now dun dare to pump any idea if it is ok if i wait till tml den let my bb latch n let my breast rest for tonite?

My Birth Story:

8.00pm - The nurses insert the pill to soften the cervix n also helps in dilation but was told the pill works v slow... strap on the CTG n need to be monitor 1 hr.. Contraction was 12-10min v mild dun feel anything..

9.15pm - was given the liquid to pass motion.

11.10pm - Contraction start to kick in 3-5min once. the nurses told me the side effect of the pill is is contraction will kick in .. i tried the luffin gas but no use..

1.10am - the Contraction gettin stronger so the nurse suggest Epi at least i can sleep thru the nite cos the dilation is v slow only dilate from 2cm o 3cm n my gynae will only come in the mornin.. i agrees becos VE is damn painful..

1.40am - the anes is here to administer the epi.. v shiok no more pain..

2am - epi done tryin to get some sleep becos by mornin i may not have time to sleep also...

6am - the epi is used up no my cervix is still at 3cm so she say i need another dose..

7.40am - my gynae is here.. check my cervix still 3cm so he say he will pop my waterbag n put me on drip to start the dilation.. he told me abt 1 hr 1 cm so prob after lunch den will go into labour..

11.10am - the nurse come in n check alr 9cm dilated.. but bb head still high so she say wait a while more..

12.10am - fully dilated n the nurse can feel the bb head a bit swellin due too pushin so she called the gynae n prepared for labour..

12.50am - pushed for 30min Dr say got progress but bb heartbeat droppin so need vacuum..

1.05pm - Dr insert the vacuum n i was asked to push again..

1.15pm - Kyler is out!!!! shortly i can alr feel my womb contraction v crampy feelin... Dr start to stitch.. he took a long time after he finish he told me he cut 1 cm but not enough end up multiple stitch.. ouch!!

i didnt even drink any soups that help milk supply wor. advise from mdm rokiah is to compress with hot stone.

just finished pumping but when i yawn, i got this pain from my side of breasts to the nipples. ouch...

for the lumps, need to use something hot to massage while u pump or hand express out. to make sure that u get rid of the compressed milk. good to try her massage lah, only $58 and u can get lots of advices from her.

take care! i was a bit worried about infection too cos i always squad down and sit down most of the time haha. but luckily nothing happened when i went to dr's check up last sat. uterus contraction was fast too

i was confused too when my gynae told me that she will insert a tablet for me then afternoon go back to her clinic for check up. i was 1.5cm dilated, insert with the pill and she said i can go home, eat lunch ect and go back to her clinic at 2pm. by 2pm, i was 3cm dilated and admitted to hospital. waited till 10+ then i was 10cm dilated. wow... now think back about it, the whole procedure was like a dream to me.

my left nipple was bleeding too a few days ago, so i go topless and air my nipples. then kept making Zachary latch on my right (he hates that breast that time)

today i got so mad at Zachary in the afternoon because he simply dont want to latch on and suckle. instead, he suckle in a way as if he was drinking from milk bottle. both my hubby and CL thought he was suckling then i told them he is not!

got so pissed at him i left them deal with him for 2 hrs while i do breasts massage. after my massage, hubby brought Zachary to me and he suckle my breasts obediently.

haha everyday passes and everyday got new story. earlier when mdm mas was carrying him, she said to him that she is going to take him away. immediately he cried and look at me.
