Latest update : Mich has delivered and Baby Isaac is 2.7kg at birth. She said she had a painless labour. Induce with epi.

Shizuka, I can see the mucous plug leh. Got one huge piece drop out when I was bathing somemore and scare the hell out of me!

Reira, you are right! Losing mucous plug doesn't mean anyting one. It can really take up to weeks too before real labour starts. My previous one also started on and off for a week before I can feel some slightly contractions.

I opted for 4bedder. So the most is upgrade to 2 bedder. You opted for 1 bedder right?

as for my hubby, he is taking another degree, and yes, he is stress!!
 
shizuka, it can be clear, beige, brown, pink, with some blood streaks or even bloody.

hi hi! Haven dropped in these couple of days,been really busy with bb...

Congrats to all that have popped!! Btw those who delivered naturally, how long does the wound below get to heal? As in no more pain? Today is my 3rd day, tryin to tahan without painkillers but gave in cos it hurts even when sitting..

We must be talking about different items leh. This is the "C1, C2" stated on my freestyle manual. both need to be used.

maybe it will be a great ideal to just get epi so that i wont feel the pain hahaha... epi makes everything painless but if use more than 1 dose, i wonder hows the charges like. Oh, I booked 4 bedder. No point to waste $$ and get 1 bedder, only gonna stay there for 3 days 2 night. Also saw from MOH website that TMC 1 bedder and 4 bedder bill size is like 2k difference!!

FINALLY tomorrow seeing ah wong!! *thank god* the 2 weeks wait is too long!! I wonder how big my Zachary became! *pray that he didnt put on too much weight*

That reminds me that today I am week 38 day 4 le.

my frends say it takes bout a week to heal for natural delivery
 
congrats to those who popped!! was so bz last week coz i was clearing my work last week that i didn't hv time to log on. will be on leave from tmr onwards...yippeee

my threshold for pain quite low...i asked for painkillers on the 2nd day...

it takes about a week or less to heal. But i made sure i soaked in a sitz bath, with water mixed with antiseptic liquid everyday for 10 mins...tink i did it about 2-3 times a day.

do you experience as our EDD is getting nearer & nearer, do you experience extremely tireness around your shoulder & Neck?

i jus went for intense massage at Kenko jus on last friday day only. today sunday my aching is back...

am wonder , can we increase our multivite dosage to boost up our stamina

nope, i dont have any tireness around my shoulder & neck even tho i've been cleaning this and that around the house. but i am not working.

wat supplement did you gynea prescribe you ? i only have fish oil, calcium & multivite.. isit not enough... i only manage to take multivite during my 29weeks preggie..

i feel so depress with tireness, pains & soreness..

one more month for me to go!
 
reira, ya at home already...busy being moo moo cow lo, no time to slp even...slept like only 3hrs to date for the past 3days...really shagged..but look at baby all worth it lo....below the stiches pain lo

Thanks sharon n ino....i was given a spray to spray each time after i pee,gotta wash the area then spray...i asked for higher dosage of painkillers at the hosp n it was real gd..dun feel pain..but now back at home, the painkiller they giv is not as strong wan..so now then start to feel the real pain..

Regarding breastfeeding, my milk came in on the 2nd night n today being the 3rd day only i m starting to leak! Shld i pump it out after each feed cos i realized she is full after 1breast alrey,then the other breast will leak..but,i m a SAHM,i can feed on demand so will i need the xtra milk? I scared if pump out later my breast think my bb need more milk n make more milk n i get engorged! How??

flower4, dun depress! Jiayou! U r almost der alrey....! For baby all is worth it one...i m alrey missing the feeling of being pregnant...slp as much as u can now,cos when bb out everything will change alrey...haha....

but if u dun pump out the milk ur breast tink u dun need so much n subsequent ur baby demand went up u no milk how? maybe the exp mummy here can advice u

donkeymani, ya,my parents arrive the evening that i popped..just nice to c their grandchild...haha...gd to hav them ard,at least i get food to eat! Haha...my dh n i r exhausted frm takin care of my gal... Pics gotta wait..reali no time..even now aso surfing with hp while nursing her..haha..if not totally no time to come here..look forward to d day u pop! Muz jiayou aso wor!

Piggy...ya..thats y..dunoe how eh...but supply n demand lo..my gal really "work" very hard, she wants to b nurse almost every hour or so,so the milk supply kick in fast aso..

go on pumping. Coz later the bb will have growth spurts. So if u have ready EBM, can feed bb when bb hungry rather than face an angry and hungry bb.
 
babymaking, ur journey tryin to ttc till now has really been a big challenge, really happy for u that now both mother n son r safe..it will all be good frm now on! enjoy ur parentshood n lets b moo moo cow together!

i stopped eating any supplement since 1st May (week 25) but before ate multivit, fish oil. Calcium i dont need cos i love to drink milk! :D i am the type who can drink 2 litre of milk a day if no one stops me (HL chocolate 80%, normal 20% yummy yummy).

when will your ML starts? rest well and do things you like to get over the depression.

only slept 3 hrs for the past 3 days!? no one helping you to look after Ellyse? why not pump for some milk so that someone else can take over to feed her? your milk supply sounds good!! what did you eat/drink to get such good milk supply?

what kind of pain are u experiencing? is it the tear pain? sob... giving birth sounds so scary leh... i have low threshold of pain. haha you already miss being preggie? only a few days passed! but seeing your cute little girl must be worth it!!

Hope you get to rest well soon! If I were you, I think I will break down already with only 3 hrs of sleep. Now I already planned. After feeding Zachary, I will go and zzz while my CL take care of him. Then will only wake up to spot check, feeding & eating. Atleast will be able to get 2 hrs nap over a period of 16 hrs. Then let CL sleep for 8 hrs. When CL is sleeping, I will take care of Zachary with hubby.
 
mashy...so u think i shld? But my hubby say not "fresh" the milk if i pumped...hmm...how long shld i pump for? Shld i pump the breast that she didnt nurse for that feed? Or pump both?

u can jus pump until ur breast is empty... most of my friend after latchin they continue to pump on both breast... ur HB so funnie worried abt the freshness keke...

Of course u should. Even if u should wanna throw it away coz 'not fresh'. Coz now is supply more than demand. It's easier to lower the milk supply later than to increase it. Increasing milk supply can take sometime.

pump both. Coz she may not be able to empty the breast yet.

I oso dun have fish oil leh .. i'm currently only on multivits and calcium pills only. I din take the calcium pills though :p

Haha...i m more hands-on kind ba..everything aso wana do for bb lo, so end up nv slp much...cos bb nurse alrey kp pee n poo aso then must clear..whatsmore as 1st time parents we take very long..haha..my parents aso believe shld let us "train" lo so they only take care mainly my meals n our clothes lo..bb me n hubby take care..

Didnt wana pump out n let others help feed her cos its not advisable by the bf consultant,she say shldnt pump til milk supply is stable lo...anyway i love the bonding session with her also,so din mind the sacrifice lo...

I didnt specially eat anything eh..last few wks before popping i drank alot of milo mayb? Min a cup a day? N last few days before popping,i drank a mug of raspberry leave tea..but i think thats for delivery? My appetite after i delivered havent been very good in fact..eat abit every meal only,but i try to drink more fluid,which includes plain water aso! Cos really cant tahan, very heaty!I think its really the latching part..hav to latch on demand kind..the more she latch the more i have lo...

Haha..dun say too early wor! That time i aso planned to pump n let my parents or hubby feed,end up i aso nv...cos once c her only all the tiredness all forget le..esp the contented look she giv after nursing..haha..i slept very little aso bcos i spent alot of time staring at her slpin! Lol..sound very silly hor? Today much better le..now catchin up on slp le..after nursing i aso slp tog with her lo...past 2days i only slpt 1hr! This evening then manage to catch 2hrs of slp in the afternoon...
 
okok..till now haben sterilize my pumps..haha..mayb later in the day ba...

My gynea advised that its essential eh..gd for brain n eyes development,nursing mothers shld continue taking also...but mayb its bcos angmo diet seldom hav fish so muz take? For calcium he nv advise me to take cos i realised angmo consumed alot of diary products..i think mainly depends on ur own diet to c wad supplements u need?

Now I am reading the manual again. My C1 & C2 are the breastshields. One is Softfit & the other is Personalfit. Yours come with both or just one?

my gynae told me fish oil helps in milk SS also tt y i been takin faithfully :p
i saw tt ur wound still hurts ah... i hurt the pain will be better after a few days wor... if u feel burnin pain durin peein or wat better go n check in case it infection..
 
Hi all mummies,

Jus to check for those who have packed their hospital bag.... are u able to squeeze everything into a bag? Me having problem squeeze all into a handcarry bag and was thinking of using a small luggage trolley...but paiseh leh...

Wonder does any mummies bring these items also:
- Towel (for bathing)
- Maternity Pads (one pack)
