pinkmama, quite true also..my gal is gaining 100g/wk after 36wks now is 3.1kg at 38wks
I am back from my week 38+ checkup. My girl weighs 2.9kg now and I am 1cm dilated nia. Ah Wong says I shouldn’t deliver in Aug and it should be this coming week. If I want baby out this weekend then I should go walk 3hrs today.
Reira, then you must make sure you are always in bed when you feed. So in case you really drop baby still got bed to support.
Celine, it depends lor…if everything come fast then I will try w/o epi. If long labour then better don’t try to be hero lor.

i was still wondering when u're coming bk wif yr check-up cos i remember last week we went the same day also. heehee. ya, i'm 1.5cm dilated and dunno wat he said abt 1.5cm in length. but he told me i'm still safe for 1 more week. cos he asked me if i'm still working and & i said yes and next week is my last wk and he said it's ok.

Zen, no...didn't mention induce. I should be delivering this coming week. My gynae knows I am trying to avoid induce.
I confirmed with my gynae just now. The reason why I got super terrible contraction pain the 1st time is because I was on the oxytin drip. So this round hor...I will die die avoid this drip.

hmm... one size smaller as in the cup wor. not the length of the bra. one size smaller is just like cannot cover the whole breasts only... haha maybe i am used to it since last time lah. I've been C since sec sch le, then always like to wear this wireless triump my first bra (biggest size B) last time (didnt really care about it).
i finally opened up my steriliser 2 days ago. but didnt test it yet

soft toys » i put them inside laundry bag and machine wash with baby detergent + some dettol. haha then after the tumble dry, i still put it out to sun dry. plan to sun dry the toys for a few days (today is day 2) to ensure it is really dry and let it have the sun smell~
waterproof sheet » I machine wash this also (put in laundry bag incase). now really cannot hand wash leh... so difficult to squat!

For my water bag to burst on Thurs, i deduced it must be due to my walk from City Hall mrt station to Somerset mrt station over the weekend. Somemore i walked that distance for 2days(Sat n Sun), thus really trigger the water bag to burst. Well, thats the only reason i can think of for my boy to come out at 37plus week.

u see, my 'uncle' name is Ming Teck. he came to tell me about the free plan.. explain explain then tell me about the procedure also. basically we won't be signing up anything before bb born.
only bb is born, after the first mth assessment (in health book), then we call the agent again to inform. then, he;ll come to see us and collect documents, ic etc etc to SUBMIT.
so just now i asked the fella to come during lunch hour, i spared him 30mins. he started to get my 'details' and 'asked' questions... then proceeded on and on..
i getting peck check, told him i got no time, gotta get back to work liao.. so i just 'fu yan' him with anyhow answers. bleah!
my hb told me should have just walked away from him hehehehe
i hope the guy u r meeting is better, altho i still think no need so long lor hehe

haha hopefully bah. i already plan to get insurance from prudential le. all i want to know is what is the free plan and procedure. does the free plan covers a lots of thing for the 6 months. if not i wont waste my time and straight away get from prudential when Zachary is 1 mth.

haha... i even 'ran' on the day before my water bag bursting coz i suddenly recalled that i forgot to off the stove before i went out. Panicked so 'ran', as in fasten my steps all the way home.

reira, if u are pretty sure on what to get next, i think u should be firm to the guy when he starts to 'stray' and ask about other things.
that time i also tell my hb just stick to our preferred agent from usual contact. then he told me to meet this AXA one first, just to take the 6mth free..

Mas was saying that some mummies don't want to start the massage right after their delivery. Well, you can always give Mas a call n asked her to slot you in after your delivery. She is a very friendly lady, so, when doing massage not so boring coz we will talk our 1 n 1/2hr away. ;p

she is charging 50bucks per session. actually, i think its not necessary to call Ida first coz since she is always so packed n will allocate us to her sis-in-law. you can call Mas direct though. unless, you insist on Ida to massage for you but personally, i find Mas doing a good job for me ;p

i don't think i am brave ah.. its just that im very super lucky to have such a smooth n fast delivery for the first one that i don't mind going through everything again. thats why i am so worried if the 2nd one doesn't turn out so perfect like the first, then i sure peng san ;p
