it will be ok if baby full le then we pump to stimulate right? or the colostrum amount in our breasts is fix de? like if like how many ml is out then will change to milk liao?!

i am using freestyle but havent touch the manual yet hahaha. for lemon grass, must boil but i donno boil how long. since my CL know, will let her do.
 
piggy, if afternoon i nap, the aircon + fan on i still can sweat wan eh! hehee..think my body temp reali too high...

irene, ya lo, my below also aching, hard to find a comfy position to slp for long..i wake up every other hr...

Celine, I heard there's only 1 4bedder in TMC leh. And I heard that TMC just renovated all the rooms. Good news rite? If you free can go for the hosp tour to take a look before deciding on the room.

Haha...I am thinking of going w/o epi. Thinking..coz 1st one didn't manage to do it so buay gam wan.

ya maybe tt y same pp say their #1 induce more painful than #2 (w/o induce) maybe becos their pain tolerance increase or their womb is expanded liao hahah i tink no diff la.. anywya will opt for epi if i cant take the pain hiak hiak..
 
Cherrios, yes! I also wake up all the time. And yes, I am very hot too! I see my hb cover himselves with the quilt all the way till can only his head but I can still kick the quilt one side.
The pain down there is really terrible. Difficult to flip and difficult to even lift the legs up to change.

re inducing - got a few ways - either via inserting pill below, or breaking water bag or putting on oxytocin drip. if poor response might even kena ALL 3.. breaking water bag itself isnt painful, but once the water bag burst, it tends to stimulate contractions to intensify v v strongly.. so if v scared of pain, best to ask for epidural before water bag is burst or being put on drip.

irene, u v brave wor.. after delivering #1 with epidural, i am even more determined to have epidural for #2's delivery too! :p

reira, colostrum will regenerate..same as milk. the more we remove, the more shld be produced. but colostrum v v little in quantity, maybe produced v slowly ba? and thats our bb's only food for the 1st 3 days before milk comes in. so im not sure abt whether we shld pump from day 1, or wait till milk comes in then pump after feeding.

smurfy, i also thot must sterilise after each use.. but when i read the ameda manual, it just said rinse with warm soapy water and store in a clean container until next use?? so i gong gong follow that since bb was abt 1 mth old and only sterilise once a day. heng bb didnt kena LS..

Even if its me gaining the weight, i also dun mind. Just need to satisfy the craving. hehehehe...but still hope I dun put on too much next week when I go for checkup.....

Im also the same, the pain down there is terrible..walk also difficult, turn in bed also difficult. Its most painful when I got up from bed, have to sit n rest for awhile then stand up, otherwise its too painful to walk.....
Wearing panty is also a painful task...
 
sharon, ya the tubes no need to sterilise. only sterilise the main flange and bottles.

think will prob sterilise after each use la.. after all now got maid :p hehehe..
 
Jules, hahaha...my induce is break water bag+put on oxytocin drip. No wonder it was so god damn painful just 1hr later!!!!! Really can commit suicide!

tt y lor diff pp tell me diff story so i tink gotta exp. myself den i know lor... if they r sayin induce will cos contraction to be more painful den i wun bother cos hor w or w/o induce contraction will still be painful mah.. how they know w.o induce less painful rite? so jus cross my finger hope my water bag burst itself w/o induce keke..

ya my afternoon nap on either fan or aircon i still sweat 1 haven tried on both yet.. nite time i also feel v warm wor.. sian i heard durin confinement will be worse..

in the market there are only 2 brands of FM that is for ezcema(allergies)...

NAN HA or Enfalac HA...

Nan HA is more widely used in hosp(1 of those big sponsors)...
that's why my gynae put it down...
 
jules: what i heard from my friend (just completed confinement) was to smash some lemon grass and ginger. Boil in water for 15 mins, till u have enough to bathe with....
 
jule: I think the lemon grass needs to boil first then bath with the water, that's what my MIL says...

cherrios: there's durian in US? did you get them in chinatown or supermarket?

irene: i know what you mean, i felt extremely hot in the middle of last night, was perspiring, then early this morning, somehow my temp went down, not so hot liaos...strange..

piggy, i still gonna on both during confinment eh..hehe..alrdy "warned" my mum..told her here like oven, if i dun kp the air con on, all of us will be literally baked! hehehe...when she heard its like 45degrees here, she gt a shock!
 
cherrios: which state you are in? ya when I stayed in Aust I saw those frozen ones too in the oriental supermarket...v gian when i see them but never buy not sure if it taste as good..are those that you got good? where are they from?
 
irene: i have been walking and climbing stairs becoz need to walk down a flight of stairs to go to office toilet. And each day, i go toilet at least 8 times a day. I am also feeling hot at nite, every morning,woke up with sweat on my forehead.

I also using freestyle, haben take out to sterilise.
 
Reira: cannot eat the coconut so often. betta wait a few more days. I know it's very tempting to see the coconut, so nice and cold lying in the fridge. haha

hey my cousin put drip for induction also not successful leh tats why got to go emergency c-sect make her experienced eventful birth.

1 4 bedder huh? Good, higher chance for me to upgrade to 2 bedder...seriously if they really have a slot for 4 bedder when I am due hor I will tell them I want 2 bedder :p

haha you buay gam wan? Me TOO this round I MUST insist they give me EPI BEFORE waterbag burst since last round they did not listen to my instruction! :p

sorry i forget you are in US. Yes when I was in US for holiday last year in Jul damn HOT!!! 45 degree celcius and above especially when we go over Dallas/Phoenix. We got sunburn just by going Disneyland.

Piggy, I hear more of people going w/o epi when its natural w/o induction. Most of the people I know who go for induction will have epi which is how I conclude inducion should be more painful coz everything is increased dosage one.

Yen, I tried to recall then I remember that time although I was 1-2cm dilated, my boy also took 1-2 weeks to come out.
Good leh..climbing stairs should help you

Cherrios/nicole, I also on fan and aircon but my aircon not very cold kind. Only at 28degree coz my boy in the same room and I scared he too cold. I only want some cool air to get rid of the humid air.
The weather is really hot leh..I just took a cold shower. Shiok!!!

Nicole & Weishy, Nan Hua Primary School is the preparation when we are back for good in 2.5 years time when Kai will be in Primary 3. Really thankful that they are giving Kai a place there through PV. If not, we will have to register Kai at ACS(Primary) which is above the quota now for Phase 2B.

Reira, I done PV for the school and will continue with my PV through my years in Sydney and when I am back in Singapore. Coz in Sydney, I am also doing PV in Kai's school there. I went through 3 rounds of interview in Nan Hua before I was given the approval for PV and I was doing all my PV work.

definitely understand!! whenever step out of the hse the HOT AIR sooo damn hot like in SAUNA right? poor thing, especially we preggie already higher temp still must endure the hot temp outside. I think i rather be in a freezer.

Anyone knows if CL will cook for dh as well? My in laws will probably come over daily as well & I dun know how to tell them the CL may not cook for them

usu the CL will cook for HB 1.. i tink u can jus tell ur IL lor.. cos understood 1 mah the CL is not maid or ur IL told u they comin to ur house for all meal ..

btw, ystdy my gynae told me based on his experience, that 4-bedder in TMC hardly squeeze 4 patients, mostly only 3. but at mt. alvernia they will squeeze 4 patients inside.

i wonder how true? anybody know about this?
 


irene: my aircon is 25 degrees i already sweating liaos..the hot weather seems to be back again..not much rain recently. Really wanna pray for lots of rain

pris: indeed you are bless to get a place in nan hua cos I heard nowadays doing PV also won't gaurantee a place.

cherrios: ya i know what you mean, esp when you are away from home and seeing durain there sure v gian..i went through that before
