have u buy kid or baby clothes washing liquid and milk bottle washing liquid?
U want breastmilk or formula milk?
milk bottle dun buy 1st bcz must see hospital use what treat for baby den baby will like that treat. Like me i buy Avent for my baby after home baby dunno use he only like NUK treat den i need go to buy again. But NUK not bad la.

when baby deliver after seeing what hospital using treat brand for baby just ask husband go to buy.
 


mashy, i dun think i have colostrum yet. Hopefully is i din notice. But will definitely try to BF every 3 hours when baby is out next mth. 1st time bfeeding was unsuccessful.

So now after Hayley latches on n finish with her feed, you will pump out as well? (3 hourly?)

no lah, i'm too lazy. haha, i pump only when i feel engorged and she's still sleeping. So today only pumped twice. To her, her beauty sleep is more important and she refuses to suck if she's not hungry.

I'm not aiming for guiness world record for most milk pumped, just wanna keep up the milk demand that's all.
 
tulips / chintz /mashy : Thanks for the advice ..ok, i will place the bb in the nursery. U gals r rite, we paid for the nurses's service, so let them do the job.

Good that the tv at TMC teach u how to breastfeed. I think watever i learnt in parentcraft lesson ..all returned to Mrs Wong BB liao. I asked my husb if he can remember, he also cannot.

Confirm, i need to go attend the daily classes at TMC on how to take care of bb again.
 
I am back from week 37+ checkup. My girl weighs 2.78kg now and ah wong say she won't be out this weekend. Monday will be week 38 so she say just be prepared lor. I have no dilation yet so she ask me to walk more if I want to deliver earlier.
 
irene, so ah wong did v check to see if there's any dilation or not ya??

yen, 2yrs back when i was in TMC, they got free class for mummies too. if u not too tired can go and attend. i remember the nurse (wonder if it's mrs wong??) taught breastfeeding and bathing newborn. very useful for 1st time mummy!

i hope they still have such classes on daily basis

i bought those washing liquids oredi.. hmm.. this weekend is really busy.. i dont wan my MIL to help mi wash the clothes.. she spoilt my clothes nvm, but my baby clothes is precious.. i only wan to wash it myself..

i bot the bottles n teats ler.. hmm.. then should enforce TBF then baby will not get in contact w other teats then..

I'm also thinking of that... nowadays I walked so slowly, machiam like crawling speed. like that can help speed up delivery or not?

2 days ago, the lift spoil and I'm thinking if I had to climb up the stairs, then havent reach my home already give birth half way already! so siong!

erm.. last time when my younger bro was young, my mum oso used normal dishwasher liquid.. the babies now are more pampered..

hi ladies,
i'm also back frmm my 37wk check-up. hv put on 1kg which is more than wat my gynae has expected. so it's good news in a way. my strep b result is out. negative. so nothing to worry. baby is now engaged. gynae said my baby shouldn't be coming out much earlier, close to EDD. but when i went out of the room, his long-time assistant was telling me dun think my baby will wait till tat long. so i guess baby amy come out end of this month. HB hasn't given up & is still hoping tat i'll get contractions on the 8th and be the first national day baby.

i haven't congratulated u yet. all the posts so fast till i almost couldn't catch up. i hope i'll hv sufficient milk when my turn comes. up till now, i've zero idea how to go abt breast feeding etc. i better go do some reading up.

sigh.... i din manage to get my hands on the koi bubble tea. saw another dunno wat brand & bought honey green tea. not so nice.

went john little at JP to buy another PJ & another pack (3pkts) of angel wipes. a few weeks back went to buy but no more stock.
 
i just woke up from my slp with intense pain in tummy,thought going into labour le...who knows its tummy ache...haha...aiyo...these days i have loose stools...wondering isit a sign...hmmm...

celine, wad u havin for dinner? My mum will b doin confinment for me aso...i told her can repeat the food,dun need everyday diff...so mafan...haha...muz eat la,den will hav milk...

went for my checkup today... my baby is now 2.87kg at wk 35... not engaged yet so all the sharp pain not becos baby engaged. but my gynae say my baby head n weight is above average... sigh... now worried difficult to push..

i intend to induce at wk 38 so if he gain average of 200g per by then is abt 3.4kg wor... like average full term baby..
 
zen,these days i always have the urge to poo,but sometimes really nothing...haha...dun talk abt food le! Later i hungry...hahaha...Now alrey 4am+ here...hubby still not back frm his night shift!

Piggy, ur bb of gd weight eh..but u intend to induce at 38wks right? If so,den no need worry bb too big ba? If full term then mayb will b abit big....

mashy, i dare not squeeze yet cos its said to induce contraction n i now only 33 weeks nia. so cant let bb come out so fast.

talking abt confinement food, i think tat is the only thing i look forward to cos i love confinement food. pig trotter wif vinegar, rice wine chicken....yummy.... making me salivate liao.

sharon, shld b able to cos mil oso use liquor or dom to cook meals for me for my no. 1. According to WBB & sister kang as long as liquor is cooked, is evaporated so is safe for bfeeding. But if u drink it neat gotta wait for a couple of hours b4 u bfeed.

my colostrum came out a bit when i was cleaning my nipples last time. Guess a bit ok, just don't squeeze the whole breast. Perhaps u can try later when you're more advanced in your preg.
 
mashy, if dun have colostrum b4 delivery, would it means i got no milk? think i too stressed up wif bfeeding liao.... slp at nite oso dream of bfeeding. hahahha

btw, how is ur older kid adapting to new bb at home? i scare my son will have jealousy pangs when bb arrives.

of course not lah. Don't be stressed leh. Stress can reduce milk supply.

My boy is ok so far. Guess coz his daddy is at home. He's very close to his daddy.
