just born is only 1.87kg but after 3days only 1.79kg
after he in icu many days never drink milk so drop till 1.77kg
after doctorsay say must over 1.8kg only can bak home
but i spend too much money le so doctor say can back home even only 1.79kg
from last saturday till now i din knw how my weight he put on so tomorrow after check up den i tell u again

that's really a good weight and most of all he's healthy to go home.

one of the new mothers i got to know when i was hospitalised gave birth to a 1.8kg bb boy at 30 weeks 3 days ago, but he's on breathing tube and expected to stay in NICU for 1 more month. so your little fellow is really very very lucky.

Your boy is so cute and really dont look like premature... so much hair!
I'm a premmie myself and all my bb till 2 years old photos all no hair...

so far 3 mums pop already => Celine, Pris and Mashy... think next week will have more?
I might go for induce next Friday.

I'm exactly 38W next friday.
my dh is not in SG now and it will take him at least 10 hours to be in the hospital... he is coming back next weekend so we might decide to induce. My dr says anytime after W37 is full-term already...

she only 30weeks give birth? and baby 1.8kg still need nicu?
maybe my baby is near 34 weeks le. ya if my baby use tube and stay 1 month i brankrup.
my baby only 8days in NICU 9k+ le

From the first pic that you posted... looked so much like your HB, especially the hair style!

I showed your boy's pic to my mum, she say she knows how you feel now as she went through the same thing also when I was born! She asked you to be patient and take things slowly.

ya i 1st night take care him i going to crazy. he every 3 hours cry wan milk but i feed him he suck little den sleep . when just back home from hospital they say 1pm drink milk i feed him till 3hours tat bottle also not finish .
 
celine, ur bb is adorable, got boyish looks. so now he drinks every 3 hours ? his tummy still small, so it's normal

i can imagine... my mum always repeat these stories throughout my life. e.g. I can only drink 1/2 ounce of milk each time and must feed every 1 hour. she even say my head was just the size of those $1 pear!

Anyway, a lot of people say premmies are more intelligent wor! kekekeke! I would like to believe that its true

yep.. better to induce if need to fit hubby timing, afterall is safe after 37 weeks.

yeah, although her bb is heavy at 1.8, lungs not fully mature yet cos only 30 weeks plus. that's why need breathing tube and need to stay NICU 1 mth.

wah, atleast your dad changed. now not so king le. unlike my FIL lol help to wash up? wait long long. like for dinner just now, he eat until full already "pai pai pi gu" and went to watch tv loh. then i was like poor thing have to clean and wash everything. *back a bit ache now* mil was the one who cook in the morning then i just heat the dishes up and cook rice.

haha yeah! your zachary is really a miracle baby! both of you work so hard and must have spent a lots of money hor. o-o for us... its was one time then "zhong" liao. haha also quite miracle in a sense. even toto not so lucky! then when i first knew about my pregnancy hor, some who know about the one time "zhong" kept asking me for 4D numbers. hahaha

the ergo carrier, if i remember correctly mashy bought it and she said it is very good quality. not sure if original lah but close bah?

aiyo. really poor you leh. hmm somehow i got an idea who is this missing person cos all the items like she showed me before de. i bought one of the items she bought but i think diff seller? you know, the heavy box. but not very sure lah haha. if thats really her, i think she is very very busy leh. hmm...

i thought 37 weeks already full term? today i am week 37 le yay~ safe! since zachary was 2.8kg on monday.

aiyo, your case different from me leh. dr wong is worried that after delivery you will be hard to loss all the weight i guess. for me is, she worry baby too big and i only gained 2.5kg so far but also cannot eat sob.

i wonder if she got a lots of white hair cos she got so many MTB to concern but we like to eat "forbidden fruits". now i am controlling my diet but... i think i am eating more carbo without noticing it!!! today ate ice cream somemore... cham!

waaa!! your son is so cute!!! must be really heartache for you knowing that he never drink milk for the few days in ICU!! so glad that he is doing well now =) so he is back home now? should be more than 1.8kg le hor?

i am so tempted to buy a new sets of mittens (no booties cos using socks) cos those i got from USA hor, like very small leh! how many mittens do you have? wondering how many pairs i need.

you are such a beauty!!!!! from the photos hor, i think your boy looks handsome like daddy! the 15 mins after birth photo makes me feel so heartache!! now i very emo, see this kind of pic or read about it makes me cry le. but really glad that he is doing so well now!

yes saw a few pieces of this type in pink...its drop down type of nursing top...there is a clip at the strap there like nursing bra...at $10
they also got sell non padded nursing bras at $10

dr wong also scared my bb too big too push...

oh then we sama sama le. dr wong also scared my pelvic bone not big enough for zachary to come out if he is too big.

oh!! then i must go and buy tomorrow! since it is only $10! i wonder how many nursing top should i get. i am still lacking of cardigan =( stupid old navy clothes i bought too huge size cos i bought wrong size sob.
 
is the spag top nursing? actually dont really looks like nursing.

i wonder if i really should go and buy 2 pieces of nursing top. *check wardrobe*

wah bubble tea i cannt drink now leh.... coffee i also miss a lot. when i pregnant i drink a lot coffee everyday 1 cup . my sister all drink coffee when pregnant baby so clever

i love the hazel nut milk tea the most!! with 75% sugar. yummy!! but the pearls they gave scares me... i got post a photo about the pearls. @_@

yup this is my 1st pregnancy. =) wah! you drink coffee 1 cup a day!!! how i wish my hubby allow me to... coffee, bubble tea, durian are the food he restrict me =( FIL bought durian home (the durian he bought is VERY VERY nice type most of the time) and wont finish those in the fridge!! everyday i see the box and drools... but i still get coffee bean cafe latte triple shots about once a week lah.

both your boy's testicles descended? my hubby scared his bao bei's testicles wont descend cos of caffeine even tho my gynae said 1 cup a day is ok.

so sleepy now.. woke up at 7am today! but did nothing cept reading forum the whole day haha

haha recently we buy at starbucks. at that outlet got one lady always chat with us. she always tell my hubby dont let me drink such strong coffee and get de-caffeine one. =(

what type of cup will we be using during hospital stay? wondering if suitable for me to brew rapsberry tea to drink or not.
 
Reira, yes...my visit to ah wong is now weekly. My hb still try his best to accompany me to every visit unless he really cannot then boh bian. I think so far he has missed 2.

Celine, your baby really don't look like prematured now. He will catch up very soon. Don't worry.

wah... how come my next visit is week 38 day 5. =( previous was week 36 day 5. then my package bo hua liao if i gave birth now hahaha paid more than non-package cos visited only 6 times so far. hehe

but i really like ah wong lah. love the ultrasound scan she gave. :D my latest collection is zachary's little fist clinched together. so cute!
