nope only when u goin into labour den u will start to dilate 1... so towards the end ur gynae will do VE on u to check if u have sign of labour..

But those stuff for bb normally dun cost much rite ... like anklet & pendant, i think less than $100 can get le. So if gonna pawn, oso dun worth much leh

Btw, i wonder if we are able to feel it when we are dilating?
 
mummies, can i ask something..

i have alot of sample packs and 2 cans, of milk for mums... i dont drink it, but somehow i still ended up with a lot.

Can i exchange it in this forum for a packet of diapers (example only)? but the milk samples are free to me leh.. is it ok to ask for something in exchange?

If $200, then i think it's ok to get the Jane Activa leh. I also think it's a very good investment coz eventually we will need to buy a small writing table for them. So if u add it up, it's abt there. And somemore the Jane Activa can tilt.

Can... But do u wanna keep it for breastfeeding days? If not, u can always exchange or sell it. U know what i did when my boy reached 6mths? I got all the sample tins from various FM company and exchange for the milk that my boy drinks. That time he was drinking Promil, so i exchanged all the similac, mamil, enfalac for promils in the forum. Really saved a lot of money.

oh, just a day different from me. Then it's pretty safe already coz now it's just 2 days to 35 weeks. My boy came out at 35 weeks. Some pp can tahan a few weeks being dilated and not delivering yet. Kai also came out early right????
 
Actually is it safe to give birth during before 33week har as I read this : 33 weeks your baby is born, you have less of a chance of apnea of prematurity. S/he weighs about four pounds (1.8 kilograms).

U can try the mummy milk when you're breastfeeding leh. Coz you still need some supplements so that your milk will be more nutritious???? That's why we still need to continue with the multivits, fish oil etc even after we deliver.

some of my friend say those maternal milk powder can help to improve milk supply also leh n in case u no supply or ur baby have difficulties to latch on u might wan to use FM in between?

at 33weeks will need to jab to mature bb's lungs before u deliver lor coz usually the lungs are the most worrisome thing in premature bbs. And bb's small, so may not be able to come out.

it's usually the same for siblings. Guess pris may deliver early then... But think shouldn't be a prob now coz already 34 weeks. Baby will be pretty safe.
 
oh......... ok ok... but i got alot leh, one whole kitchen cupboard full and over spilling.. hahaha..

your boy came out 35 weeks? does he need to stay in the hospital for a longer time before he's discharge? i heard if bb is less than 2kg when born will need to stay in hospital.

there's milk powder for lactating mothers which you can try.

oh cos i got 2 tin of similac mum still lyin in my kitchen so will pro finish up them first if it does not help to improve den i switch bah.. it work for my friend hope it work for me as well..

hi all,
my hubby wants defer his re-service in jul...need a letter fr gynae, called clinic but waiting for them to call back...any advice?
anyone's hubby also defer before?

hahah ya Annum choco is nicer.. Similac 1 taste ok to me cos i like vanilla :p but too bad it expirig in Sept duno got enough time to finish anot..

you drink once a day? i only dare to drink it cold cos i actually hate drinking milk but preggy force myself to drink for my own and bb's good.

haahh no leh i not drinkin now cos hor milk make me v bloated so till now i only drink a few glasses from powder milk but i do take those bottle milk from time to time to go along with my cereal.. like u i also take cold milk so confinement dunno how :p

i hate drinking milk now. Think it's the preg hormones. SO i'm keeping the mummy's milk till after i deliver and see if i can drink or not, if not then will give away or exchange.

Anyone have chinese website for baby name har ? Until now I dont what name to choose leh .

I also dun drink milk powder , I have to mix it wif coffee or milo to kill the smell

anmum is sweeter, similac mum is ok...initially i was drinking HL choco milk, it's really really sweet man, then my hubby ask me try anmum cos got chocolate flavour

I'm only drinking fresh milk and i'm only allowed 1 glass a day instead of 2. But my gynae recently allowed me to take 2 glasses now. But i dun feel like drinking it oso .. hahah ... so i just drink tow huay jui in the morning, den drink milk in the afternoon if i'm hungry.
 
MAshy : No only surname I know must hv what heehee. After bb birth my mum say will go geomancy for bb name . Can them help us choose name ? both english and chinese ?
 
mashy, i thk for other brand yes..but anmum got diff one..tat's why recently i bot enfamum instead of anmum cos i thk i can drink when I BF.
 
Hi ladies

I am back from CTG obsevation at the hospital. Baby is doing well and happy according to CTG, there is no sign of contraction yet.

I have checked with Dr Wong, he said it is common to have the cervix dilated from week 35 onward, as some takes a long time for it to dilate fully and some might not notice the plug went off. Tomorrow I am week 35 liao.

I will be going to see Dr Wong again tomorrow. Now praying that dilation does not occur so fast, so that dh will be back for baby's birth after week 37. We are hoping it will be like week 38.

Mashy, yes, Kai came early at the end of week 36 at 3kg.

I am lactose intolerance, so no milk for me. Does hot coco helps in giving more nutrients? Haahaa. For me, I think wat I do is to make sure I have a balanced diet, lots of hot milo, hot holicks and lots of fluid to have supply of bm.

I have just gotten the net undies from TMC pharmacy, they are selling per pc at $4.

I also try to drink soy milk at least once a day,heard it makes the baby fair (haha not sure how true that is)

what I did was I go and think of name then use the chinese to english dictionary to find out the meaning of the characters(my chinese v bad so that's the only way for me haha)

Wah ... den my morning hot beverage is really limited le ... No horlicks, no milo, and i dun drink coffee. So it's only tea ... and milk? Aiyoh, i not used to drinking milk early in the morning. Luckily we have only abt 1.5 mths to dong .. else i really die le.
