Er.. u wanna sneak & eat durian a bit diff lah, the smell so strong! But chocolate & chips easier lah haha.

I'm so glad HB went with me to WBB's antenatal class. She said can drink cold drinks, so he's not giving me a hard time abt them. Coz MIL has been "saying" me abt the cold drinks.

Sharon, toyogo sells lots of things, i spend quite abit there last month too... bought this 5 tier drawer at only $55 and it can store quite abit of things...not bad...

u ladies are in 'big' discussion of the bb wt now and at birth.. btw, can i check if there is a guideline for the Drs to observe, say what kinda ht the mummy is, the bb cannot be over what kinda wt so the birth process will be easi??

thinking back, my buddy was 1.68cm n her bb is 4.5kg at birth, looks like her ht n her bb's wt kinda match. does that mean that shorter mummy like me will have to opt for a smaller bb?

btw, i am on MC today, (fever n sore throat, not sure if it is durian overdose) but gd thing here is, i can be online to chat w all the ladies... blessing in some ways, otherwise i gonna be bored...

regarding durians:
on sat my bil went to pulau ubin to go and pick durians.. came back with about 15 pieces (small to meadium size).. so in the night.. eat until shiok siah! coz it was the sweet type and lagi best was it was free!! if i'm not preggie.. sure will go there and pick durians! so fun!!

i'm also hoping that this time i can tahan natural without epi.. coz with #1.. i threw in the towel after 7 hours of labour.. then it was happidural.. shiok feeling.. but was quite dissapointed with myself for not tahaning longer..

But so much diff leh, the price... Looks like I must go down to the warehse liao. I think I need 2 chests of drawers & maybe some small ones to put on top of the table to put small things like ear buds, cotton balls etc.

actually if the baby is too big regardless of height the gynae shd not go by natural. becos if the baby too big the tear might be v bad.. i tink it was reported be4 1 gal her gynae din double check the baby weight be4 birth end up too big to go via natural the gal was paralyse leh..

Btw take care hor. Weather very sucky. Cannot imagine this will last till Sep. Read in the news on Sat that they are expecting peak haze in Sep somemore. *faint*

LawShe, our baby can go without milk for 3 days after borned as their body has enough to sustain. So the colostrum is more than enough for them. Most mummies won't have milk the 1st 2 days. My milk supply only came in after 6 days or so. Therefore I have to supplement with FM the 1st few days.
I will request to latch in the day then maybe last one at 10pm then ask them to bring bb to me the next morning 7am so that I can rest well at night. Will tell them to give bb FM at night. I think we can only rest well at night when still in hosp.

Usually shorter/skinny mummies will have narraw pelvic bone so baby cannot be too big or else cannot come out.

my #2 at week 29 was only 1.2kg.. my gynae was a bit worried and told me to eat more.. so now durian season.. just nice!! can eat durian and let my girl put on the weight.. hehe

A bi guilty, but I do eat like this even b4 preggie, so very hard for me to control *sob sob*

I think all the stuff I'm eating goes to BB. My tummy not that big, & arms & legs also quite ok. Just thighs huge lor haha.

I hope not to pop too soon. I am gog to start my reno for the MBR soon

Jul, i am also using the same ref chart but frankli, i duno how to read cos my gynae did not tell me the wt of my bb, just give me a (+)(-) estimation.

I will take care, thanks, gonna stop durian intake completely from now on... drink more water maybe... thinking of chin chow but i guess we r nt suppose to...

and taking abt Haze, i really hate the smell n it does give me the terrible headache.. i just wish it dun swing over n distrub us..

friend of mine also to the small~med build hv c sec after trying natural for almost 36 hours........she said very torturing......cos doc tried eveyrthing......and finally her hip too small to push bb out for her 1st born

2nd bb,scheduled for c sec but bb decided to come out at 36.5 weeks........again emergency c sec and cost her a bomb!!!!about 9+k at Gleneagles.....i was like harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!

Petrina, i am not sure if there are alot, but those that hubby open arent gd so he din brought any back.. the gd durians that i got overdose on are all from geylang, those that cost $$. hahaha..... cant pick from the ground...

there's a incident that a baddie who tried to pick durian and kenna hit by a falling durian...
so far never heard of innocent being hit by durian

my relatives pick their durian back at penang any time and usually the durians will fall during night time...
and day time they fall when the area no ppl...

U agar use it as a guide lor. Say u in 28 weeks, then look at the row with 28 weeks, the weight shd be ard 1003grammes. Agar u shd be ard there lah.

piggytoh, actually no need to be so big at birth la.. small easier to come out, and by the 1st mth, my girl already 50th percentile for wt, and promoted to 90th percentile by 2nd mth.. hahhaa :p and i think the wt by scan is quite estimated lor.. i was told to expect bb to be abt 3+kg at birth also.. but come out only 2.8kg.

lawshe, i also having sore throat.. that was after 1 durian milkshake! i havent even eaten any durian seeds yet.

irene, i was wondering abt the FM supplementation thingy.. last time v stubborn with #1 and refused to supplement at all. milk only came in on day 4 or 5.. but by day 3, bb screaming nonstop and kept wanting to latch ard the clock. think she was v hungry

wondering how to get ard that critical period b4 milk comes in if i dun wanna suppl with fm? its true they can survive without milk for 3 days, but they obviously feel hungry and hence will cry nonstop lor..
 
My boss and another colleague are going to bkk tml ... and i've been hearing them coughing on-off just now. They are coming back at end of the week but i doubt they will do self-quarantine .. maybe i'll take leave on next monday to prevent contact with them.

bb small not necc can deliver naturally. My boy came out only 2.8 leh. I still couldn't push him out. My friend, small and petite, delivered a 4kg bb naturally.

hmmm, my gynae said as long the head size is ok for me...
i can go natural

but hor i scare bb not facing my back then got to use vaccuum again sianz...

my#1 is 2.8kg at birth...
so #2 can be about 2.8-3.2kg...

hahaha.. bean.. regarding the cravings hor..

for my #1.. i ate icecream everyday! end up put on 19kg.. then so hard to lose it leh! eventhough i bf my girl for 15mths! until now before i got #2.. still got 3kg to lose..

so now #2.. i die also tahan.. cannot eat too much.. and am happy coz till now only put on 8kg so far.. hopefully it'll be much easier to lose it after bb comes out..

but yesterday went wedding dinner.. cannot tahan the soft drinks lah.. drank 4 glasses of sprite and 2 coke.. end up whole night got to go toilet! tsk tsk!
