discussion today on pri schools??? me and hb were just discussing that a few wks ago.. his pri school close down already, and mine is so far from my current place - was from paya lebar methodist girls. but now got 1 boy 1 girl, think gotta look else where for mixed school.. my area is redhill - no gd schools there leh. and i see the kids from the neighbourhood schools here.. sigh.. all look very beng and not very guai1

mashy, u said that if you are from some sec school with pri school, can get child in the pri sch as well? cos i was from SNGS sec, was wondering can I get my girl into SNGS pri? wat i heard was cannot leh.. so now kinda confused?

bb clothes - think wont waste money buying going out clothes.. sure get a lot of new clothes during full mth celebration. #2's just gonna wear his jie jie's newborn clothings at home (yes, including the pink shirts )

cant wait for my massage on wed.. already booked Mdm IDa.. every night cant sleep well cos of the back pain although i already use pillows to cushion here and there.. sianz.. thats the bad part of 3rd tri.

I went to my friend's place in Punggol too... so nice... wish to have a place of my own too...but my hubby's name is currently in his parents' place (cos father was the sole bread winner but kena stroke, so sons have to take over payment).

Anyone have any idea on wat's the procedure like in order for us to get a new flat of our own?

is there no one to take over your hb's name?

I was in the same fix. My dad put my name in our prev flat so that can use my CPF to pay for the flat. When i got married, there's no way to withdraw my name, coz HDB rulings is that he will then have to repay the CPF back to me which of course he can't. So bo bian, my hb and I got another flat and my parents shifted in with us lor.

joann S, yes u can roughly calculate when can breakeven...use the housing loan calculator in the cpf website
another alternative is like mashy, u n hubby buy new flat, sell this flat but his parents will haf to move in with u all
