For C-section, I suggest to wear a dress during discharge. If possible, a belly band to hold your belly. this is what my friend told me.

i bought it during spree so it much cheaper. It is not a must to use it when you deliver naturally. For me, i am just vain... Cannot stand my MIL comment during my 1st delivery. WOW your belly still so big! so want to use it & hope can slim down faster.

Dark brown spot means also want to give birth liao lor. That is what I know la from my sister in law. Haha.. this week I 32 week liao le.. like so fast. Another 8 weeks to full term.

regarding the diaper bag, wait till u have your bb, then u see if the carters bag is really too big. Coz for the 1st few mths, we really need to lug quite a lot of stuff ard. Then when bb's older, still need to lug lunch/dinners leh.

That day is my daughter's 3rd actual birthday.
And hb has applied leave to bring us out for dinner celebration.
These few days have been busy preparing her birthday stuff, as I have booked the party venue for this coming Sunday.
Next Tue, she would be having one @ her sch too.

Cos my sister in law one is very big but she gave birth at her due date.

sorry for late reply, as I was out for appointments in the afternoon.

I only applied the leave form and boss have approved le. Think the account dept (we have no HR Dept) will be filling up the form to claim from the govt. Will I be required to sign on the form or given a copy of the form? I am not too sure.

Thats why my friend suggested I go back to work aft my ML, then tell boss no one take care of baby and have to extend ML. Think this is the best solution.

But then again, what if my baby come out before my maternity leave starts? Then the form that they filled in to govt. also have to amend right?

the ML leave form for govt dont state date one....
only state whether u taking the 16 weeks at one shot or not...
mainly the form is for govt to pay the company

I also told my hubby to recognise our baby before the nurses bring him away to wash up. Scared baby being swopped (watched "Shuang Zi Xin" too much)...hahaha

its just says remaining 8 weeks of leave taken over further period, neva state any details...so u i guess still up to ur arrangement with ur co?
as long as u take within 12 mths
 
SBB, this pregnancy is so different from my 1st pregnancy. Dr Wong is really very reassuring, just told me to rest well. He did all the checking on ultrasound and told me everything is fine and baby is active. Just keeping my finger crossed that baby will comes at week 38. Think must be the part of taking care of Kai when he was down with cold overexert myself.

In Sg, from week 37 is considered as full term but some countries, it is from week 38.

Tas, Japan is a very stressful country, imagine your children have to go to school learning in Japanese and those fathers came back late after work and also children really young go to tuition till late at night and school activities are also hold during weekend. There is also alot of teen suicide cases in Japan. Their system is more stressful than our system.
 
hi Ladies, is the gathering date n venue confirm??? if so then i will start making arrangement, otherwise i gonna stuck myself in the office chair till 9pm.

as for maternity leave, i also have abit of difficulties filling up my form, will check it out w u girls when we mit.

btw, there is 2 resturant w buffet at M Hotel, which 1 are we heading??? who is coordinating?? can u pm me ur contact?? in case i go there n be a fool

sbb:Yeah, each of MAH's delivery rooms has its own weighing machine and tagging done in the room... TMC is common, shared weighing scale outside...

they r now using huggies diapers and pureen diaper cream. so if u r not comfi with these beands, pack ur own.

Taslyn, Kai still has a bit of cough, he is recovering. Think overexert myself last week coz he was having fever so I check on him like 2 hourly even though I gave him suppositionary to be safe.

Saw gynae today. He brought forward my c section date to wk 37 instead of the original wk 38. So most prob will be the last few days of July. But he mentioned that there is a possibility that I may go into labor before wk 37!

i saw some photos of what others put in a diaper bag somewhere and got shocked!!! i was thinking of only bringing a few disposable diapers, milk bottle with EBM, a pack of wipes and thats it!!! thats why i thought the carter's bag is too big!!! but others seems to put things like diaper cream, clothes ect ect ect!! oh wow @_@ now i am starting to have this idea of not bringing baby out liao hahaha so tedious. T_T but cannot, must bring him out often to see the world.

the more i carry the bag, the more i dont like it. so big and hard *i like cloth type of bag* i think if really need to bring so many things out, i am gonna buy a back pack diaper bag next. then i wont need to worry about the bag straps sliding down my shoulder.
