you are right, basically PG can do round/square or numerical cake shape for 2~3 tiers the only difference is the figurines provided by customer. Hence that's explained the price lah since the labour also not very challenging.
If you see other 3D cakes e.g. ecreative they really can make the mickey mouse shaped cake but cost at least $300+ :{

two nights again I also had the thought of holding my boy's party at kbox.
then i immediately realised that i had to endure the singing of all my in-laws guest. that is if they had the courage to sing. or they had to endure my hb's attempt at jay chou music.
do the party-world in Singapore provide buffet? I know those in China will and the buffet is nice.

my guest list for relatives a lot come with children. me going to hold edric and my elder son birthday together, their birthdate 2 days apart oni.

I dont want to ask all my hb's relatives to come to my parents house... cant imagine my poor mum & me got to do all the cleaning after that! Also cannot hold it at my in-laws, cos they are staying at my BIL house... headache...

you planning for chinese or western food?
I found Kim Choo @ katong had a 2nd floor which can block reserve. can take max 4 tables (40pax) with Nonya food. It's very exclusive but they only serve by table (not buffet) and no place for children to play. Not expensive though

Wah lao ... kena black out at my place just now for abt 30mins. All 4 of us were sweating like hell. We only had 1 torch light, 2 candles .. no, not even candles, they were tea lights ... and 1 stroller fan. Now in aircon room . .. haha ... so happy
