lol, well her papa really care for her so well. Swimmimg lesson also accompany her, that really very hard to find such a good dad and mum.

Hmm... Saving is very important for the raining days especially we have LO.

Enjoyed cold storage event though my girl is now sick - fever. Think it is a combination of too much heat + over exertion. Son is okay though. You were right about the holding area - I was perspiring non-stop and was so relieved when we finally walked out into the hot sun! Lexi is super proud of her medal, I gotta say...was watching news last night, trying to see if we kenna caught on tv...hahha...would have love to say hi to you and kids yesterday...

We bought insurance for our kids when they were both about one month old but I also don't know the details, my dh is the cfo at home...luckily we did for my son's uti stint ain't cheap!

Wet wipes
I usually buy the pigeon small pack (30 wipes per pack, tissue pack size) for venturing out. Much lighter and if we forget to close the pack properly, not so many sheets wasted...

Hi Celine, just to share. My boy is also 10 mth some of the things that i m cooking for him are:
mushroom soup, spinach soup, steam pumpkin, porridge with fish, beef, chicken etc..

apart from the above, pasta, potatoes, etc...go for textures. ;-P Try the one of the biggest recipe books in the world: Google. LOL!

iphone is very expensive!!!! Honestly, I only bought mine because my phone had died that very morning and I needed a phone desperately and that was the only one I knew, so no time to think, just rushed down to Singtel (at that time) and bought it.

My dh prefers blackberry anyway, so it may not be your cup of tea. Comfort yourself. Hehhehheh.

My colleague said his iphone got stolen while out dragonboating at kallang river. Cost him $1k to get another one! Said he got it for only $200 when he bought it together with moile phone plan. And he said his wasn't the only stolen the dragonboat place last weekend... Take care of your phones... I do believe iphone is just too tempting for some people put there with nimble fingers

Time to stock up the necessities, wipes, dior bag or ralph lauren polo top. hehehe...I regret didn't buy the polo top which went for 70% last private sale as I didnt know the gender of the baby yet. the 12M to 24M size of polo shirt for boys are so cute. well, for girl too, but the price is still expensive after the sale, unlike the boys top. Kim, how much was 1 top did you pay for?

Food.
Naomi has just taste her first choc bday cake last sat. I guess it's the first sweet stuff that she ever try...she gobble a big bite and keep asking for more!

The weather is so scary. scorcing hot! I thought I have a heat stroke or something...got feverish for 2 nights.
Today is last day to school, the last day I get my freedom till end of June! supposed to go for facial this morning, but end up have to see doctor to ask for paracetamol. haiz.
Pray for me that I can survive the school holiday!

DD has been having low grade fever (lingers btw 37.3-6) for the past couple of days, super duper cranky and refused to eat (thou wanting to nurse/suckle all day long!). Last nite b4 bedtime, I notice some spots on her feet! Is it HFMD or juz teething?? The earliest appt available at the doc is Thurs, will hv to see the "walk-in doc", which would mean sitting in the waiting rm for dunno how long and possibly catch on other virus. Argghhhh, I'm procrastinating...

I think I should be counting my blessings that MR still gobbles up her porridge, as long as it's not me or the husband feeding her. The silly girl finishes her food without fuss when it's my sis, mum, aunt feeding. But she cranks up when it's me or the husband. Guess she knows who she can bully.

urg, brought work home and only manage to hit the sack around 1am. panda eyes. I want to go home... i want to go play date... I want to go home to my bed

look out for spots on her fingers n see if there's any ulcers in her mouth if it's hfmd. the last time, my elder boy got umpteen ulcers in the mouth which i didnt notice until i saw the blisters on his fingers n feet. he had rather high fever (above 38degrees for 2 days). when my girl got it, she only have low grade fever. no ulcers in mouth, just a few blisters on fingers n feet. even if it's hfmd, dr won't be able to diagnose in the early state n will just ask u to monitor a few more days. N there's no cure except maybe some mouth drop to soothe their throat when they eat/drink. n cold water do help. definitely hope it's not hfmd for her case.

btw, I haven't see the flyer yet, usually polo got sale but not every private sale got sale wor...but generally things like oshkosh,gingersnap, pumpkin patch, fisher price,pigeon, avent, leapfrog, confidence swimsuit, all toys on 20-30% even cosmetics like clarins go for 20% plus 10% rebate.

Started from last night. No other symptoms. sigh. But since your gal have spot, better go and check. Haha, u scared she catch other virus from other kids, i'm sure other parents are also fearful of catching the HFMD from your gal if that's what she has.

but i also see a lot of kids get hooked up on the iphone too. my boy will want to stand by me n watch me "play" with my phone though it's not one. he thinks any phone which is touch screen = iphone?

Haha. Dh's colleague said his daughter's so used to seeing iphone => took a normal phone, ran her fingers along the screen and asked her daddy 'why the screen spoilt, cannot move'

Hee, my 17days leave already include the 6 days childcare leave. I have 11 days annual leave to clear by end of year, in addition to that

i haven't thought abt that coz my hb's birthday is very close to Father's DAy. :p Anyway, he's been getting presents for himself until got scolded by me. see how lah. Maybe get the kids to do a card for him or something.

my boy is also hooked on handphone games. I refused to let him play until he finishes his food. He's been asking for my hb's other touchscreen handphone which he traded off for my iphone. So now mummy control whether he can play or not. hehehe. My hb is very lax abt my boy playing games whereas i'm rather against it.

I bought life, medical, accident for my boy n ger but from different company, AIA n Great Eastern.
Each cost ard $120/mth as the sum assured for life insurance is not tat high.
And a separate saving plan which can be either education fund or retirement fund.

Re iphone:
My hb has it, i might get one too nx yr when my contract end if there isn't others fascinating new phone.
Yes, my son addicted to it. But we restrict him to finish whatever homework then he can play for 30mins.

Re teething:
My ger has 2 lower teeth now.
She recently cry out loud when she is still sleeping, w/o open her eye.
Does it have anything to do with teething?

Re food / water:
My maid have been giving cereal n porridge to her.
But she seem not tat interested, may need to try some new recipe.
My ger has been refusing to drink plain water since a few mth back.
Bought those baby tin juice for her to mix with hot water.
She drink it for some time, now refuse again.
So i try another brand fruit juice, she start to drink again.
Is this normal?

Then have to wait for GSS liao.
I have some Taka voucher which i want to buy some toys for my boy n ger.

it's rather scary to see how kids get addicted to the iphone... and especially the age.... as young as 2yo n they r so pro in it liao. this auntie here don't even know how to use. if i ever get, i hv to hide it in my bag.

my girl is like that too when it comes to drinking water. she now knows how to turn her head away when she sees the bottle. she even uses her hand to shove it away. i dare not let her try juice cos i'm afraid she'll even refuse to drink plain water more. the only time she's willing to drink is when eating biscuits/puffs.

my mum told me she vomit out the milk or food that she took. Today happen like that leh. Where to get probiotics? oh dear need to drip, dun scare me..

had tried to 'tempt' her with puff while drinking plain water but she dun seem to get it..
ya, she also know how to shake her head n uses her hand to shove off the bottle..

mashy, i also have the feeling it might be nightmare.
but it only started this mth, so was wondering cud it be teething?
sometime it happen continuously for a few days, stop a few days n happen again.
mostly when i carry her n talk to her loudly she will stop, mayb need to go 'bai bai' liao..

pinky, agree with mashy, or u may try to put some ru yi oil to massage the stomach.

Iphone is indeed very addictive, my son can even ask daddy to search for new game for him.

ya... it sounds like stomach flu. my gal got it last mth. keep her hydrated to avoid drip. I brought her to see the PD n was given a bullet to put into her anus to stop the vomitting.

food intake:
i duno if i am over feeding or under feeding edna..
she have 4 meals a day
9am: 120 milk , part of the milk mix into 5 tbsp of dry cereal w 2 cube of apple cinamon puree. and she drinkt he remainder
1pm: 1 bowl of porridge (quite a big bowl)
5pm: 1 bowl of porridge (almost same bowl as the lunch's) pLUS 60 ml of milk
8.30pm: 240ml of milk

the problem is.. esp the 5pm feed... by 7ish she is suckin thumb.. v hungry already... but the porridge is thick and filling... hw can she get hungry so fast?!??!?! dh tink i over fed her.. a few mummy also think tat is a scary portion.. but sh eis still hungry.. or is she jus plain greedy?
nt to forget.. if we have dinner..she eat alot of rice ard 6ish or so as well...

iphone - buy it for a 4 yr old!!?!? CRAZY, Even if I had the money, I wouldn't do that - what kind of values are you teaching the child, plus is it good - health wise - their eyes/radiation/etc for them? I think Singapore has high percentage of myopia in the world?

Kim - aren't those chairs quite big and heavy to lug around? But bec it's plastic, it's very easy to clean!

Fruit juice:
Do you all make your own fruit juice to give bb or buy the baby fruit juice? And do we need to dilute it?

My friend's chair says Baby Solutions on the box, but I can't seem to find it online, so will take photo tomorrow and try to post it...
