age oso an issue... tat's y i wanna to settle all for once n close shop... currently my mum taking care my boi for me, she oso told me very tired coz he's getting more active n mischevious n more effort needed to look aft him... not sure she able to cope if my #2 is out... signz...

my hb oso same... tink fr my boi out till now, can use fingers to count the no of times he make him milk... actually quite terrible as in case i'm not ard or emergency he still can make milk for my boi... somehow he just take for granted tat i'll always be ard... *sign*

aiyo... my hb also same la... i have to prepare everything swee swee before i cn go out or leave him alone with Kirs... feed her also problem... sigh... she doesnt finish her food when he feeds her... only eats half or less -_-" somehow, with papa, she only knws to play play play... lolx... see papa always scream and so excited... what to wear to go out i also must put aside.. if not he will make her wear those "lok kok" home clothes -_-"
 
Hahah....missycandy, your description of your hubby is so funny leh.

For me, I only need to remind hubby to bathe for my boy and I also need to do the feeding of porridge. My hubby feeds very slow. Other than that, my hubby can manage. I made him more hands on ever since I found out that I am preggy with no.2
 
when my #2 comes, i think i'll not go for permanent helper cos we still want my privacy.. I will just get those part-time helper that can come in every evening to help with the kids and once during the weekends to help with cleaning.

true enough, my hb feed my boi oso cannot finish one... my boi will try to snatch the spoon fr him or wipe his mouth w his hand then will use his dirty hand n go round his ear, hair... making so messy n smelly... my hb will then take his own sweet time to clean him up *arghhh*
somemore if my boi dun wan, he'll juz chuck aside, wouldn't even try to bluff him to make him eat somemore... -_-"

i think my hb is the same.....never make a bottle of milk before...now ask him to watch his son while i go shower.... also quite tough.
 
sigh yes.. the hair.. dont knw why they like to dirty their hands then rub onto their faces n hair!!!!!!! grrr... so every time after meal time is bath time...

strawberryyyssss!!!! *muacks muacks muacks* - lurve the link u shared for the cupcakes!!! found other recipes there which r sooooo simplified!! cnt go wrong!!! i made the cupcakes last night! am happie with the result! i didnt have cocoa powder so i used milo powder instead... the taste is okie! hb says nice! nt too sweet! hee... i saw the cupcake paper like quite oily leh.... but when we ate it, wasnt oily at all... hee hee... dwnside is only makes small amount... managed to get 8 medium sized cupcakes...

Went to see gynae yesterday ... bb 2.5cm and causing such havoc already. And he say EDD change to 28 Oct (push back by 1 week) ... damn sianzzzz told my frens like so cheated like that ... means 1 more week of suffering for me ...
 
Talking about burning big hole, I already cannot resist buying for my boy, he has almost 10pairs of shoes. 2 of them haven't even been worn, he already outgrew them. So for my girl, I already trying to resist, see how long I can last.

Thks missycandy & piggysg for sharing tips on "warming up' my boy...shall try

My boy went for chickenpox + pneumoccal jab yday and last nite fever >38. Fever subsided after feeding him panadol, but it kept coming back after abt 5hr or so. 1st time like that, usually at most I feed him once then ok already and never above 38 b4, monitoring him closely.

Re MMRV,
CHecked with my pd, she said MMRV in s'pore abt 5mths, more effective (98% or so) then chickenpox vaccine itself (abt 90%). But cons is more likely get fever after jab and more expensive. As it is so new here, decided to stick to convention way of doing it.

Any of u still applying diaper cream for ur BB? My mum kept telling me he is old enough now, skin not so delicate already, no need to apply.
 
teddy - if more than 38.5 cn feed him nurofen instead.

sponge sponge.. let him wear singlet n pampers ba... we still apply desitin for her... babies skin still sensitive.. best to apply... i will apply till she is off diapers ba... lolx! her skin too sensitive la.. see her suffer 2 times more than enough le...

its below 38. Gd thing is he is still quite active. Hope he will be well soon...cos I myself down with sore throat due to lack of sleep for past few nites as he was teething and eating too much fried food while celebrating his 1st bday

i only apply if there's redness... somemore now very difficult to apply for him coz he'll flip n crawl away fr me... so applying lesser n lesser lor... wahahaha

cos chicken pox and pneumoccal both their side effect will cause fever de but some babies dun get it..so maybe that is why it's above 38 bah.

so did Dr Lim say it's better to take separately?

Ah yoh... I think most of the hbs are the same. I've to prepare everything for my hb to feed/bath/change my boy. My boy will be very happy & excited to see my hb when he is back from work. Sometimes, jealous... when I come back, he don't look excited or happy to see me... so sad

Wow! You let your bb took 2 japs. Don't worry, he will recover very fast. My boy will be taking Pneumoccal next month, then wait till 15mths for chicken pox.

My boy is also more excited to see my hubby, don't know why and yes, I do feel jealous lor. I give birth to him, cook for him and feed him, yet, he is more excited to see my hubby.

all of yr hubbies are at least contributing, elixir's father had only carried him once while in the hospital n none thereafter...n dun even think abt him making milk, feeding him or bathe him...ALL done by I,Me n MYSELF!! Luckily got my granny to help else die...


anyway i also had been a silent reader cos dunno wat to post...bz attending my courses n bonding with elixir thereafter...shagged...hope to catch up real soon...dunno if i can make it for the bash anot leh...haiz...

My boy's still on stage 2 but only cos we bought in bulk and so have some tins left ;p. I just switch hinm without transition onto diff formulas when I was travellling. At this stage they trying/eating diff foods so readily dun see any point in overlapping formulas in switching over.
 
was advised by abbott to try mixing 3 with 2 to see if bb cn take the change of taste... but i gave her full feed of 3 and she drank it all up!!! so no problem with transition... i also order in bulk... 2 just finished... so now on stage 3 le...

i jus start mixing 3 to 2 for my boi... i tot of giving him 3 direct but not sure how he'll react coz he took quite sometime to switch fr 1 to 2 lor...
