Jo's mummy
I went to the Expo fair but did not take part in the crawling contest as my boy was napping till 1pm.

Mangogal
Did you order your cake from Aunty Yochana? cos I was there on Sat to collect agar agar and cookies from her and she was in the midst of doing your cake. She pointed out a no.1 pink colour cake to me and said the mummy is also from motherhood.com March thread. Her cakes are so pretty right? I am so impressed with her. I will definitely order the next birtday cake from her.

On parties, my boy also had a birthday party on Sun. Cake from PG and we all loved it, esp the lychee martini. I got a two tier cake, top is orange zest but I had no chance to taste it. A simple design with no theme as my boy don't have any cartoon characters preference now. But I choose Carebear for the agar agar and cookies cos that is what I like and is a character during my era...haha...not familiar with other cartoon characters.

It was a nice celebration with about 45 pax at Hogsbreath Cafe at Chijmes, a manageable size and all are close friends.

[sun96]

srumpee
the cake is nice!!! all deco on the cake are fr PG huh? i'm oso ordering lychee martini for the 2nd tier, hope my guests will love it too...

i collected agar agar cake yesterday fr aunty yochana for my dad n god bro... the cake was pretty but some like the texture while some dun like commented a bit hard...

[val1977]

Scrumpee..haa wat time did you collect your boy's agar agar?
Ya the pink is mine

Sunshine, gt pic of your Dad's cake?
Ya some of my relatives also not use to her cake cos it is less sweet and egg less But nonetheless most of them enjoy

Yalor next Fri is long weekend and sat is the 1yr Bday bash!

[val1977]

Winter, thks

[sun96]

mangogal
the fotos not yet d/l...
will upload to FB 2nite, kekeke

u oso collected yr cookies on sat issit?

[val1977]

no cookies I collected on Friday

[scrumpee01]

Sunshine
Yes, all deco from PG except for the long candle stick. I saw a similar design from the web and adopted it by changing the colour scheme. I am sure your guests will like the lychee martini. I have no issue with the agar agar, texture seems fine to me.

Mangogal
I collected it at around 5plus on Sat. Also saw very nice smurf cupcakes there.

[val1977]

Welcome Jennifer. join us more in forum and gatherings

[val1977]

Scrumpee, did you let your boy taste his cake?

Haa we did and she likes it

[piggysg]

Hi Mummies,
Really nice meeting all mummies & babies. Sorry, as this is my 1st time to join the gathering & busy look out Ryker, thus, yet to have chance to chat with some of the mummies & remember some of your nick. Hope the next gathering my memory will improve ... hahaha..

Wow ! most of the babies can walk pretty well & fast. This is Ryker 1st time seeing sooo many babies at his age, he was stunned quite a while, watching other babies enjoying.

Sorry, Lizy, he kept snatching Vera's ball.

[piggysg]

Jac & Scrumpee , HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your boys!

Sorry Jac, I too missed you. Was looking for you but get to know you had left & was also looking for me.. hahaha... Yes, I'll be coming for the next Sat gathering. Hope will not miss again

Alfafa, thanks for the organising the function.

Mangogal, thanks for your cookie. Ryker kept snatching from me, so I let him hold the cookie. He was very happy holding the cookie & pull out the stick. The cookie very nice, gave a small piece to Ryker as he saw me eating. Thanks !

Sun, I had passed the shoes to the shop.

P.seed, sorry I didn't got clip, i came late

[sun96]

piggy
thks so much!!! u managed to get anything at the fair?

[piggysg]

I brought Ryker to the Curious Thot last Sat after the Gymboree. Alot of ppl, I queue for 15 mins for the photo shoot... Ryker stared at the camera man.. no laughing... I gave him a biscuit to eat & he smiled. I loved the balloons, got another dog & sword which made of balloons. Nothing special, he don't drink Fiso.

Any mummies went to suntec ?? Missy & Jo, did you went ??

[piggysg]

Sun, welcome, anywhere I was there. Nothing from the fair. While waiting for the photo, feeding Ryker at the coffee beam. This dryper was overflow that when his daddy carried him, daddy shirt & Ryker pant were wet. Immediately changed at the coffee beam.. Ryker was half-naked ther... hahaha

[jennifer79]

No Problem! Will join all the mummies in the next outing... really look forward to meet so many great mummies out there!

[missycandy]

piggy - i went but like ryker, kirs jus stare at the camera man. wahahahax! k la. went on sunday. also super crowded. she also nt drinking friso anymore so didnt try. but i signed up for the working mum forum. heh heh... nth much... too crowded.. hb nt keen to let kirs run wild.. tsk tsk...

[jo3309]

missy, i went on sunday too..didnt c u..anyway too crowded..and i didnt purposely look ard for anyone lar..hahah...bb Jo didnt even wan to look at de camera lady..he jus play himself on de sofa, smile to de mirror but not to cameraman!

[lizy]

Hello Mummies,

Finally have some 'snake' time here. Was bz clearing emails the whole morning...

I enjoyed Sat Gymboree gathering. I think Vera enjoyed herself too. She kept pointing the activity room when we were leaving Gymboree. Thanks a lot Alfafa for making this gathering happened, despite your busy schedule.

P.seed, thank you for the clip! I really like the bright color. hehe..

Hey Mangogal, nice meeting you and thanks for the Hello Kitty Cookie! I hope Caroline is better today? BTW, HB and I shared the cookie that day and we were surprised it's not too sweet. The taste is just nice!

no worry Piggysg, Vera also went around snatching other babies' ball... I think at this age it's normal. That's why I like to let Vera join such gatherings where all babies are of the same age. I want her to learn abt sharing coz at home everybody just give in to her since she's the youngest.

[sun96]

piggysg
diaper overflow? aft gymboree u didn't chg ryker's diaper b4 u head down to suntec?

missy/piggysg
mayb ryker n kris were thinking who's the px holding the camera... hahaha

mangogal
