Been more than 1 week coughing already and till finally i gave up, yesterday went to see doctor to get the medicine.

Hi mummies,

since mon, my boy has been sleeping at 7.30pm, then I give him his dream feed at 10pm (abt 100ml)and he will wake up at 3am, only take in abt 80-90ml and wake up at 7am, take only 30-40ml and refuse to drink anymore. Anyone knows why his intake has dropped despite after so many hours?

Remember that I read somewhere that if baby start decreasing his feed, he may be wanting to start on solids.
 
Mummies, don't ask me for Sophie now cos I don't have spares. Just join the BP in Feb thread, for $4 more, don't need to wait til Sept. But in case you do miss the BP, I don't mind getting a few more in Sept for you. But I stress, my offer is only for March mummies or those Feb/Apr mums that I know. I'm not doing business, just buying for friends!

my ger also sleep at ~8pm .. i tried to dreamfeed her but she won't drink more than 60ml. Usually she will wake up ~4-5am, with/without the dreamfeed at 10-11pm .. so now i dun dreamfeed her anymore.

my ger also drink less these few days, i thought it's due to the last wk's injection. She does not drink much since the jab. Hope she'll drink more as i dun think wanting to start solids la.. is it too early to start the solids, she's only 3mth 1wk ?

I was only trying the dreamfeed because he sleep quite early. If it doesn't work, think I will stop also because he will wake up at ard 7am when we wake up for work.

First day of work after ML, boss said need to reaccess me again for these 6 mths till dec then see can promote me anot. wah kao...this yr promotion is based on last year effort wat...so i damn angry with them..still got to wait for next yr promotion. i think i wont stay in this company liao.

she was busy playing in the RF jumperoo just now. so cute. can't rem who was asking but yes, her feet can touch the ground when she is on tip toe.

then put her on her tummy time to cleanse neck w avene water before applying medication.

went to the dr steven ang clinic last night. glad i called beforehand as there were alot of people. even w a pre given queue no we still had to wait about 30min. still better than the avg 1hr+ for dr terrance tan at kinder clinic though. quite a no were there for skin related issues. dr ang seemed ok, pretty gentle w gracie. he even had a rattle toy on hand to distract gracie when she started getting a tad cranky.

he diagnosed gracie's condition as dermatitis. i asked if this is ecezema and he says it's too early to tell but he reckons that she has a high chance due to family history - my dad, mom and i are ecezema sufferers. sian.

anyway he gave me a treatment cream (steriod) called fucicort + AI cream for prevention (triple function as barrier/relief redness/protection) + shower gel SOFTOUCH MINUS. not bad, total bill is only $80+ even w all these. normally my pf consultation alone is already 60-80 liao. true enough the steriod cream worked v fast. applied it last night and this morning her neck already looked much better. less raw than before and no more stinky pus.

yah i know. but these days i am not constantly monitoring like before, so i only come in to look see look see now and then. didn't realise my mistake till much later. anyway, it would be impossible to cancel even if i noticed immed cos i keyed in a price that was lower than the current price (wanted to buy lower mah) so once i entered the low price the closest in buy queue auto got it at his asking price liao.

wow you have v v good timing. actually if i am still working i.e. am still accumulating $ regularly i wouold surely buy lotsa blue chips too. now cannot liao. my pool is stgnant, worse, going down due to expenses

wa lao my bb these days treat my nipple as a toy, when she latches on one she uses her other hand to pinch the other nipple. my goodness

aiyo ... after they leave you might want to consider hiring a maid then or at least a regular pt cleaner. baby brianne requires so much extra TLC it is really taxing for one person to handle. does your hubby travel alot?

btw re the ferrari car seat, don't know is it becos my hubby's backseat is more tilted than normal, when we put the seat facing inwards the seat becomes super upright and bb hates it. so now we put the seat facing out. we figured that it is better that she sits in one facing out than not at all.

My sis is going to pass me her jumperoo and I was just wondering when I can start marissa on it. After reading how grace is enjoying in the jumperoo, I want to get it from her ASAP. haha I more risk averse, so tend to look at all the blue chips, like what u say great time to get it now.

alfafa, can try Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron, heard it's good. I'm so tempted by the Beaba Babycook for making baby food. It defrosts, warms up, steams, blends, purees anything. But... US$150 or 110euros. Still thinking. Saw similar from Moulinex for 77 euros. Still thinking if should ask MIL to bring in July.
 
Talking about stocks.. I love CAPITALAND. Haha.. It's my super profit counter. Everytime I made $$, Ill tell my baby. "Let's go shopping!" Haha.. I also think can hold on to DBS especially now it's low low low. Im quite a risk taker. Will play index, contra and short sell. Mini casino at home. My hubby always shake his head, say I havent burn my fingers yet. Till den, me still happily playing my way. Haha

can i ask if its normal for bb to poop like 5 times a day? wonder if it's the frozen EBM mix...he pooped like 5 times, as if back to newborn days, 1 meal 1 poop...gosh, change diapers until i blur already...but it's all small poops, not the usual 1 big poop blast like last time...

also, since sunday he's been drinking faster, instead of 4 hourly, its 3 hourly, do u think its growth spurt again? think i better increase 10ml more to 135ml...or maybe i'll consider giving solids coming 4 month...

pumpkin, agree also that our babies are so lucky... i'm also planning to get him back here next year when he can walk to pluck cherries, raspberries and walnuts. wonder if papa will teach him how to retrieve honey as Oli's great-grandparents were bee-keepers...

starflower, i will also most likely intro solid to Oli when he reaches 4 mths in the 1st week of July cos he's been taking 150ml every 3.5 - 4 hrly...

I read somewhere that bb on TBF takes longer to readjust to the time zones cos of the differences in the mother's milk. So i think Oli would not have too much a problem adjusting..

starflower, my friend who is tbf says it's normal. Her son does the same regularly too. But check the colour and consistency. If really different from before, then it could be something new in your diet.
For growth spurt, they will feed smaller amounts at more frequent intervals, supposed to stimulate more production to cope with increased demand.

jtho and starflower, I'm wondering if I should give solids at 5-6 months or follow the baby led weaning method... any ideas?

One of the mums bought her Sophie at 17 euros in Paris and was quoted 43 euros for the sunshades ( I paid around 20 euros! ) Maybe I should do my shopping ouside of Paris in the future

asura, good point about the diff in mothers milk. Maybe that's why my girl is not adjusting well. In the end, I just gave her FM.

apparently, good to start w iron-fortified rice cereal (less prone to allergies fm babies) as compared to wheat.

Brands available:
1) Nestle - contains most preservatives, causes most cases of constipation (or baby has to drink more water). Contains milk which tbf babies may be allergic to. Good thing is there are many flavours for this &amp; cheaper comparatively. roughest texture.
2) Frisocream - tastes the best, most loved by babies (suspect sweetest), contains milk
3) Heinz rice cereal- Most plain tasting but doesnt contain milk. Smoothest texture.( likely i will choose this coz i wanna add my own EBM)
4) Healthy times Oats/Barley/mixed grain organic cereal(for mummies who wanna serve organic)

so if anyone sees above brands on offer at supermarkets, please post here hehee :pPPP</font>

Alfafa glad to hear Grace's neck is better..my gal also hv red rashes on neck and armpit 2 weeks back, apply some soothing cream bought frm motherhoodfair, nw is better...
U continue to apply the cornstach powder alternate wif the GP's cream but of cos once is fully recover stop the cream..

U can buy back the unit trusts at the same price than u only lose the transaction costs. Happen to me before, i quickly buy back then lost only abt $100 but no regrets cos after that the price went higher.
So good, u all got money to invest in low prices now. My $$ all stuck for very long liao.. all cos the other time when prices were high, i never sell.. greedy lah...
Now trying to accumulate and wait until the next down before i go buy.. the financial forecasts say that mar was not the end of the low prices yet.. i hope they are right cos i am waiting to buy when i have more $$$>
