My boy could hold his head up for quite a long time when he was 1 mth old and now, he's 3mths old and could hold his head up & turn from left to right

Mummies using mamypoko, do you find that if the diaper is not changed for more than 8hrs(overnight), there's a quite strong ammonia smell (urine)? I've tried with petpet & there seem to be less smelly.

Any mummies has recommendation on strollers which are lightweight yet sturdy (possible??) and comes with leg cover for cold weather.
Am still looking around. peg pergo is one choice but seems heavy. Saw this Inglesina stroller from First Few Years. One hand operation, comes with leg cover but heavy.

I got combis stroller for my elder son at NTUC for $168 and was regretted. It is really very flimsy and my son outgrown it at about 7months coz the seat is very small for him. Now i got the lucky baby big one but of course wquite heavy lor, therefore if i go out alone i will rather use the carrier.

I find mamypoko doesn't get too bulky even when it's very wet but talking abt leaks, my boy's pants was wet last nite when I feed him. (diaper was put on frm 8pm to 4am). Maybe it's because I didn't tape properly or my boy moved alot during his sleep cause it seldom happen.

Agnes, another lightweight one is Aprica but I also find it not sturdy leh. Think if you want lightweight, then hard to be very sturdy. I saw my sis with her peg pergo and I think it is really sturdy. I mean her gal is already 3 and she is still using it and she's very comfortable in it.

my boi is taking 150ml currently... now i store 150ml in freezer, so if my mum gg to increase his intake to 6 oz, either add on another pack frozen EBM else FM...

Reducing MS - I used 1 month to train my body to only pump 2x a day and another week to reduce to once a day. Since yday I stop expressing liao. Maybe I din need long to stop MS cos din have lots in the first place

Combi Stroller - I also find it too light. Can't hang stuff on the handles. But is good if you need to carry the stroller ard.

starflower, you also using Fitti? i find it quite good too, cos i tried almost all brands and find huggies ultra and fitti are good!!! Mamypoko also good but can leak leh.. Drypers a bit cheapo, maybe due to the sticky tape cos most diapers are velcro type already..
Kayla keeps putting her hands into the mouth, how to stop it? btw any of your bb got sweaty palms and feet? i was wiping Kayla's palms and feet as often as i could due to the sweat, went to see PD and he said it could lead to fungal infection or eczema, so have to wipe as frequent as possible.. sighs.. i was quite a lazy person before preggie, but for the sake of bb, now have to be very on in cleaning, feeding, washing, etc...

tink both their love language is gifts so they express their love to their grandchildren using gifts...i like u, like e place simple n clean...dislike cluttered envt...oso i believe bb's stuff easily outlive...soi tink e salespple very happy to see her...i not sure abt urs but price to her is not an issue...my love lang is words of affirmation so we cant seem to connect well...everytime she passes something to me for him, i keep hinting to her tat no need to buy...in e end...jus tell myself to accept but for some items i don find it useful, jus keep it wrapped...in future can secretly recycle as gifts for my preggie galfrienz ahhh...bad ha...

Nowadays i try him on e electric yaolan...he seems to crave sleep more than b4...but when he wakes up e appetite is qite good, unless he sleepy...e highest amt of milk he drank is 160 ml...ideally by 3rd mth, e bb shld drink bet 150-180 ml as found on e fm tin...e interval for feeding varies for bbs, i tink...itz his 4th day n he can finally get used to sleeping in e yl in e day...now itz e other way round, we hav to let him wake up...
My boi cant stand/sit upright yet...my hb advises against letting them do so as it can affect their spinal devt...oso e upper body wt is proportionally heavier than e bottom, so a few sec is ok lar, not for long...after doing a short while for a few days, my boi likes to b carried in e sitting position liao n yeh his legs r strong n likes to stand but i always support his neck with one arm n hold his waist/backside using e other arm...tink of it their feet so small, so better let them progress @ their own pace...

I'm back from Penang!! My little one is so so so spoilt by my in-laws back there that all my prior efforts "training" her on her feeding times, etc all haywire liao. Worst, she cries so often now and wants attention or to be carried all the time!

Brought Chloe for a swim and she didnt like the swimming float cos its round her neck which she hates. Even when changing her clothes everyday, she will cry if I dont pull away the blouse quickly from her neck. Sigh... so envious to see other babies swimming happily in some of your FB photos.

Its very convenient to do it online. And I heard they're more lenient with babies' photos too.

i'm using mamypoko and huggies ultra dry for baby now. have tried huggies dry comfort too. quite good but sizing for huggies seems small compared to pampers and mamypoko due to bikini cutting therefore let him wear M already.

gathering at vivo - to be honest? its a bit out of the way. becos if i take the train. wld have to get off at dhoby. walk to the NEL and take to harbourfront... quite a lot of walking to do... and by the time i rch wil probably be 5pm! LOLOL! if u all wana go vivo do go ahead without me. heh heh heh... another day possible wld be the 17th of June... but its a wednesday... nt sure if everyone cn make it on wednesday... im off that day.. so i dun mind goin to vivo =P nt so much time constraint...
combi stroller - not good ah? my stroller is Latido. ulu cheap brand. lol. but heavy n sturdy. thats one of the reasons we got it. hmmm. wun topple easily but heavy lo. almost 10kg. =( was thinking of getting a combi leh. easier to handle. but also worried very flimsy and wont be able to handle pushing on the roads. this current one can handle bumps and humps quite well... it has suspension. but hb also nag when i said wan to buy lighter one. boooo.

hoho - dun worrie. everyone has their own development de. dont stress yrself.. i see the jan thread mummies... some of their babies havent even flipped! so dont worrie.... one of them was saying that their PD says must go step by step... frm flip to sit to crawl to stand to walk... cannot short cut.. becos its a form of coordination as well... wait later on will be confused on coordination and stuff... =P

seabreeze, my boss smsed me to go back on 18 May though i delivered on 7 Mar... my hubby insisted that i must take at least 12 weeks before gng back to work, so i told my boss my MIL not feeling well and cant help me to take care of bb yet (she is indeed not feeling well, but not very serious kind). In the end i went back on 1 June, the rest of the maternity leave of 3 weeks will be split in 2 months, meaning i only work on Mon - Wed whereas thurs and fri will be considered maternity leave. Tot that there will be a hill of documents waiting for me, but to my surprise, i managed to clear them in just 1 day's time and not that bad as what described by my boss leh..
hoho03, i also put pump in fridge after pumping in office. bought 2 sets of accessories for the pump, so 1 set is to be used before gng to work, the other set will be packed and go wif me to office. Normally what i did is i will pump and put the used funnels, valves, bellows in a tupperware or ziplock bag, then place in the fridge. I didnt wash at all becos the logic is there, EBM can be stored in fridge for 48 hours.

I just did Joel's passport the week earlier n the following week they sent letter to ask me collect liaoz. So i am going to collect it this Sat. So fun..not intending to bring him anyway but just do for fun. I use the photo TMC's photographer took to submit as passport photo.

realise most mummies here using diapers on bb for both day n night. I am using nappy during the day n petpet/mamypoko at night. Mamy poko do have that ammonia smell cannot tahan when we throw the diapers in our toilet bins. I am glad tt Joel can take petpet save $$

aiya the stupid molar got this decay - dun ask me why i dunno abt the decay cos i didnt feel anything hahahahaha - and the decay was so bad that cant do normal filling and cant crown that 1 tooth cos no 'support' end up need to do crowning to 3 teeth so that to support that 1 tooth
my mum say extract out lor *faint* but molar cant lar .. how to eat without molar
